a somewhat more "proper" ref/at least look at Faenna's design
made Interceptor at the ripe age of 8 years old (proceeds to get soul crushing trauma for her entire life and die in storm-9 at 16 partially of her own accord)
her main mons' names are Anya, Avan, Luxia, Pa, Oran, and Nessie. She named them all when she was 7-8 and 'now' thinks they're kind of cringe but is also too attached and doesn't have the heart to change them.
Luxray is her signature mon. Shinx was her first ever partner; though she doesn't remember quite how she acquired any of her Pokemon except Entei.
Doesn't rlly have any friends bc duties didn't allow her to have any... Vivian WAS her friend but............

PokéRogue - Web-Based Pokémon Roguelite
It's a browser-based roguelite based around the Pokémon battle engine. This game was developed from the ground up using the Phaser3 2D game framework. As a roguelite, it's a game where you play temporary sessions or 'runs' rather than a single playthrough, though there are many unlockables that carry over to make future runs easier. This game has no overworld, and the entire game takes place within the battle engine for the sake of simplicity.
Features:
Mobile support
Cloud saves - seamlessly swap devices on the same account
All Pokémon species from generation 1-9
All moves and abilities from generation 1-9 available but not necessarily implemented (this is an ongoing effort, unimplemented content will be labelled as such in-game)
35 biomes with their own original background art, Pokémon pools, and trainer pools
Animated sprites
In-game day/night cycle
Stacking item system inspired by Risk of Rain 2
A large variety of items to find randomly throughout your runs
Classic and endless game modes
Daily scored runs with a leaderboard and egg voucher rewards
Gacha system for Pokémon eggs with vouchers obtainable through normal gameplay (no real money involved)
No level or stat cap
Starter system, where any first stage evolution can be used as a starter once they are caught or hatched (including mythicals and legendaries)
Original rival and player characters (1 pair for male and female respectively)
Any 2 Pokémon of different species can be fused with DNA splicers to trade abilities, average stats, and merge learnsets (fused Pokémon are dynamically palette swapped)
Various mainline gimmicks including mega forms, gigantamax forms, and terastallization

Have I mentioned I really like Pokémon Fan-Games? Because they’re better than the actual games. fight me.

its 12am im closing my eyes and queueing this for who knows when. goddamn.
im getting notifs for one of my old reborn pieces? which, damn. it's been a while. and it's also strangely timely because i just continued my attempt at the game. victory road is my nemesis and i missed cain so i drew him.
then i showed my friend and asked for suggestions for the background because at that point i was working with a sunset (which did not work by the way) and they went "toxic wastelands?" and we both agreed that that would've been a disservice. then in a stroke of genius they said "hey remember when you were thrown in the void and emotionally devastated by the game?" and boy do i ever. so that's the background, it means nothing in context of this drawing, it just looks pretty

I made some Pokémon OCs!
Exam season has been coming down strong, but my autism is stronger.🙄🙄
*rubs hands* info dump time
I call them the Neo BB Elite Four.
They're a group of students who got annihilated by Kieran on his path to becoming the BB League champion, and since he was supposedly really mean when he was obsessed with battling, He was super rude to them after beating them and becoming champion.
So instead of accepting Kieran as the champion, they made their own league that doesn't have a champion.
Hence, Neo BB Elite Four.
Also they use Mega Evolution because the one with the Lucario is from Kalos and he decided to bring Mega Evolution to spite the original BB League
This is Elodia ↓
She specializes in Water types, because her dad's a sailor and she grew up around boats and near the sea in general.
She's from Humilau in Unova.
She's pretty laid back, but very energetic when it comes to Pokemon battles.
This is Dryce
He says he's a dragon type trainer but he's delusional, he only uses fighting types.
He's from Driftveil, but his mother is from Lumiose in Kalos.
He's an eccentric personality and very exaggerated, constantly striking poses for whatever reason. (he's a jjba fan)
This is Celestina, She's a Ghost type trainer from Lentimas.
She likes baking, but has a completely different personality when it comes to it. She has a one sided rivalry with Crispin because of the fact they're both cooks of some sort.
A Mimikyu that doesn't know how to make disguises lives in her hair bow, and sometimes it possesses her. (ratatouille reference)
And finally, Armando, He's a "grass" type trainer from Mistralton.
He likes camping and outdoor activities and just really likes nature in general. But he's never actually done a pokemon battle against anyone because he's too shy.
Therefore landing him dead last in the BB League's ranks. (But if he were to actually fight someone he'd probably be very high up the ranks as his team is not a grass type team it is based on past champions. *cough cough Cynthia*)
Anyway, I'll probably draw these guys more on this page 😜

A spare time project I've been working on. I can absolutely admit I'm not great at coding, but I'm learning my way around RPG Maker XD and so far I've been working on a side project porting Glitch Pokemon into the engine.
These are some of the edits I've made so far. Not sure if this will end up being a full playable game yet, but I've got some ideas! Credit to @newworldenderdragon for sprite work on the ▶A and for help with the scenario here!
If there is any interest in a project like this let me know btw! I'd be happy to share progress about it.
