beau and nebula changed a lot from their initial designs but I'm just in awe of how much I've been able to accomplish in a year and nine months since I posted these.... feeling very nostalgic and proud sorry to post this I just am. WAHHH 🥹🥹🥹🥹

hello hello! I've been wanting to do this for a while but finally got around to making a free pdf pattern for the puppy bandanas! this will allow you to make your own bandana for your pup at home with any thin fabric you might have!

there is both a raw edge, no-sew pattern, and a finished edge pattern that will require a little extra sewing skill. this is my first time making a pattern so it is certainly not perfect, but I really wanted to share! if you make a bandana for your puppy please tag me so I can see! :3

okay I promise this will be the last google form for a bit I just love collecting info and this one's important! I need to get started on the colorful kitties samples and want to know which ones you'd like to see most so I know what order they should be unlocked in! I'm also asking some info about what other kinds of merch you'd like to see in the campaign which would be super helpful to know!! :D

I’ve finished posting the rest of the pups from my kickstarter campaign over the last few days and I wanted to mention that I’m thinking about doing a second campaign that would be for a few more of the flags, just to get in as many as I can! It’d be sometime next year but I’m collecting info through this google form to see which other pups people are most interested in seeing made, and I’d love to hear your input! and if you’re more of a cat lover... stay tuned for next pride! :3

I have very good news for you anon! Scarlet the lesbian dog was the very first pride puppy I made actually! In 2023 I'm hoping to do a pride kitten series as well and there will be another lesbian plushie for that one :3

aww i wanted to add more tags on my last post but apparently you can't edit poll posts on mobile? 😭 anyways the explanation for each name is what I wanted to add:

- Cosmo: based on the flower cosmos, which has a meaning of joy and wellness, suggested by my friend <3

- Clover: cute name in addition to clovers symbolizing luck and good fortune :3

- Gilbert: I specifically wanted to use the Gilbert Baker rainbow flag to design the rainbow pride kitty, which is why it includes pink and indigo in the design. I think naming them gilbert would be a cute homage to the creator of the flag. :3

I had a few friends suggest Skittles as well, but I'm worried about getting into legal trouble with the candy company if I choose that one haha 😅

Aww thank you!! I absolutely want to do some neurodivergent pride plushies!! I've had these designs for an adhd dog and autism cat in my head for a few months.. please pardon these very messy sketches I did a while ago and colored with highlighters slkglks

I'd really like to get them made some time soon but I'm hoping to do a little research actually as to what other fellow neurodivergent people like most in a plushie! I want them to be sensory friendly and have lots of elements to stim with - so they're extra special designs to me which is why I've been thinking about them for so long lol 😅

I’ve been working on the next batch of pride pups and I thought it’d be fun to share some progress pics and behind the scenes! The four that I’ve got something to show for rn are kirby, pretzel, salad, and bacon! samples are still in progress for butterscotch, abbie, and gigi.

these are wips, so a few of them are not final! Specifically kirby and salad are getting some changes I’ll go into :D

in the original artwork for kirby, they’ve got a little curl on their head. I didn’t want to try to make this 3D because I knew it’d be hard to get it to look as cute as it does in a flat drawing. I like the idea of the embroidery showing the curl, but I decided I need to change the shape to make it read a little better.

salad is the pup that’s getting the biggest changes, and by biggest I mean editing their light green color by a few shades lol. This green seemed a bit yellow and bright in comparison to the aro flag, so I wanted to tone it down just a little. decided to go with the same green used on cookie (#48), which hopefully will feel a bit closer to the source :)

especially with these pride pups, I’m really particular about color, so sometimes it gets down to the excruciating details of choosing between two shades that are barely different. It’s hard to tell sometimes as lighting plays a big role in how these colors look and I can’t always see them in person. I also like the puppies to go together well as a set, so I try to consolidate the pallet of the collection as a whole so that they go together cohesively i.e. using the same green that’s used on cookie here on salad, or the same blue that’s used on cookie on pretzel and bacon, or the same pink that’s used on beau on kirby.

The nice thing about this puppy collection is that since we already have the shape pinned down, that’s never a concern for revisions - that’s typically the hardest part 🥴
