Illustration for the cover of my Fear & Hunger zine. I'm working on the file right now, the zine end up being 88 pages long.

You can still fill the google form to get a mail when the zine will be out in my shop (someone asked when filling it "please don't spam it's my serious email", thank you for trusting me ahah, I plan to send one mail when the zine is in the shop and maybe a second one a week after for peoples having missing it, but yes I'm very careful not spamming peoples, you trust me with your email and I try to be responsible)

I still don't know if I will put the zine on the online shop before my next convention ( Y/con in Paris, 4 & 5 november). If I get them soon enough maybe putting a first batch on my shop... I'm still unsure.

In 1988 Will and Mike promise to leave town together, except Will decides to go off on his own, and Mike is left behind. Ten years later in 1998, the two reunite with drastically different lives. Will is known in the art community and has made a name for himself outside of Hawkins while Mike has stayed on Maple Street, becoming a father to a seven month old baby girl named Bea. Both of them have questions, both of them have regrets, and both of them still love each other. But how did Mike get a baby and why did Will leave? They'll fins out and figure it out together because they're a team. And they're always going to be best friends.

Will is staring at a blade of grass, watching some kind of bug nibble away at the green hungrily. He's comfortably lying on his belly, arms folded to pillow his head. Beside him is Mike, who rests on his back and gazes up at the clouds suspended in the murky sky. Things are starting to get normal around here. A relief and also a tad uncanny. The duo have grown accustomed to Hawkins being a combat zone, billowing darkness and spores clinging to the air, with gates opened to bridge the gap between the Upside Down and Hawkins into a hazardous merger. Seemed to be the end of times how the Party and their families felt desolate then.

"If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?" Mike's feathery voice is close to Will's right ear.

He must've sat up and rolled to his side just to lean in for a whisper. It's unnecessary to be this intimate, almost touching as Will internally swears at the feel of long raven curls titillating his cheek and temple all plumy. Mike's caging him in, their shadows mixing together to create one amalgamation on the ground.

"Probably somewhere far away from here."

Will casually answers, angling his head to meet Mike's pools of glistening dark brown with his own immersive hazel eyes of intrigue. Their faces are too close. The caps of their noses grazing. They've recanted personal space ages ago.

"C'mon! Be specific, Will. Imagine!"

Mike huffs cutely and Will fights to remain strong, lips tingling, ready to iron onto the boy he's pining for. His thoughts about romance are now whimsical and idealistic. Younger Will would be appalled to know that older Will didn’t believe falling in love is gross and synonymous with cooties anymore.

"I really wouldn't care where, Mike. As long as you're there with me, I'll make do."

He's honest. Will always tries to be honest when it comes to these matters with Mike. Hellish days and agonizing nights were spent with Mike planning a detailed future with Will to give them something to look forward to. Something to keep their wits amongst them as Vecna slowly gnawed at their resolve by spreading fear and chaos in the vicinity.

"Well, duh! That's a given. We can't do that again. I can't dream of moving somewhere and you're not at my side."

"As best friends, right?" Will fails to recognize the disappointed look crossing Mike's face.

"Oh. Uh. Yeah. Sure."

"What's that for? You don't wanna be best friends? Are we demoted to just friends, now?" Will teases, pretending to pout with a suspicious eyebrow raised before breaking into a breezy grin.

Mike is not catching the hint at Will's mischievous attitude. He hastily rejects such a possibility of them ever being less than best friends, a solid hand gripping Will’s shoulder tightly. The pressure is almost painful.

"No! No, no, no! I want to… I just thought…" Mike doesn't finish his sentence, teeth snatching on his bottom lip to harshly chew.

The motion captivates Will, who observes the natural pink lip color redden from Mike's nervous biting.

"Thought? Thought what?" Will inquires, drifting his eyes from Mike’s mouth. He notices Mike leaves a lot unsaid. He's nostalgic for the days when Mike would talk a mile a minute unfiltered.

"Nevermind! It's nothing!"

Fantasia College for girls Dorm info

So if you've been following my Fantasia series, you'll know that I have an entire twisted wonderland OC school, the sister Campus of Fantasia College for girls. I thought for those who are interested I'd lay out the houses, important members, and faculty, and open up to any questions. If you wanna make OCs based on my school, go right ahead and tag me! I'll be posting art soon.

I do plan on using these guys in a longer fic that is to come, expanding the world of Twisted Wonderland.

Whispmathan

A house that follows the tenants of Leadership set forward by the great bear ruler Mor'du. They strive to be strong in academics, magic, athletics, and overall be great leaders. They are also very talented diviners and have to go through weekly divinations to see the best outcomes for their weeks. They wear boho-style dorm uniforms, and their skirt colors are green. Their sister dorm at Night Raven College is Heartslaybul. Important members include:

Ursa Morgan: The Housewarden of Whispmathan, she is a ferociously hard worker who works herself to exhaustion. She faces great pressure from her family to succeed in politics.

Blair Fairlie: A first year in Whispmathan. She is fixated on becoming a Housewarden, and constantly challenges her senior. She has a one-track mind.

Elspet Muir: The Vice-Housewarden and head diviner. She's a bit lazy and dislikes working too hard, often putting it off until the last minute. Her signature spell is something coveted by many.

Operata

A house that follows the tenants of Showmanship set by the great showman Ratigan. They are leaders in performance, music, and acting. Each member is required to assist in some sort of performance throughout the year. They wear a style that is formal one minute, but tears away to a more punk aesthetic. Their skirt colors are plumy pink. Their sister dorm at Night Raven College is Pomefior. Important members include:

Rebecca Faversham: The Housewarden of Operata, she is smart, ambitious, and precise. She plans everything down to the last detail and is burdened with knowing things others cannot.

Felicity Belle: a first-year in Operata, she's of a sunny disposition with a love of the stage. She's rarely seen in her free time without Rebecca or Vivian.

Vivian Fidgwetz: Vice-Housewarden of Operata, she is a builder and stagehand who is skilled in bringing the spotlight onto others and bringing out the best in others.

Jungbahee

A house that follows the tenants of preservation set by the great conservationist Shere Khan. They excel in naturalistic work, connecting to the earth itself when casting magic. They specialize also in mindfulness of the earth and often take care of rituals involving nature. They wear a South Asian inspired dorm uniform complete with a sari. Their skirts are Orange. Their sister dorm at Night Raven college is Scarabia. Important members include:

Indraa Rani: The Housewarden of Jungbahee, She's organized, ritualistic, and talented with plant magic. She struggles to make time for her boyfriend.

Lulu: A second-year in Jungbahee, she's rather secretive about her background, but she loves to be involved in trends and the happenings on campus.

Nagai Ajagar: Vice-Housewarden of Jungbahee, she's flirtatious and has a new obsession every week. She doesn't like keeping them around long, however, as she drops them if they reciprocate.

Gothelweiss

A house that follows the tenants of trust set by the great mother, Gothel. They excel in many crafts such as sewing, painting, knitting, cooking, baking, and more. There's an old rumor that they make the best wives, but recent generations have been trying to shake the label. They wear a 70's inspired dorm uniform. their skirts are yellow. Their sister dorm at Night Raven College is Octavinelle. important members include:

Aster Giesell: The Housewarden of Gothelweiss, she is an intimidating beauty with a hard-working attitude. She works hard to ensure the safety of her dorm.

Sable Sewston: Vice-Housewarden of Gothelweiss, she is a shy clothes designer who usually works on matters from the sidelines. She is the more creative of the twins.

Petra Sewston: a second-year in Gothelweiss. She's rather curt with her words and usually speaks out for her sister or those she loves. she and her sister are loyal to Aster.

Blume Nachtnebel: A first-Year in Gothelweiss. She's an up-and-comer in magic, showing great potential in her reserves. She is a bit naive, however.

Sapainca

A house that follows the tenants of discovery set by the Moon Empress, Yzma. They specialize in STAMP (Science, technology, Alchemy, Mathematics, and Potionology). They are always at the top of STAMP competitions and are required to donate some tutoring hours. They wear a couture-inspired dorm uniform with a long evening gown. Their Skirts are purple. Their sister dorm at Night Raven college is Ignihyde. Important members include:

Mayra Luz: The Housewarden of Sapainca, she is in the top 1% of students at Fantasia College for Girls. She struggles deeply with her self-image and how others perceive her.

Pilar Klari: A first-year at Sapainca, she is the first in a while to not be in the top percent in STAMP. She struggles greatly academically, but she is excited to learn as much as she can.

Barbhandel

A house that follows the tenants of Adventure set by the Great Captain Hook. They specialize in sports and physical activity, and have rules set in place to allow as many duels as possible. The role of Housewarden could be taken away at any point, but it has been stable since Jamie took over. Their dorm uniforms are Athletic style mixed with street fashion. Their Skirts are blue. Their sister dorm at Night Raven college is Savanaclaw. Important members include:

Jamie Ironhook: The Housewarden of Barbhandel. She's a top athlete and appears in several magazines. She's always looking for a challenge and can be described as too energetic.

Pearl Seaglass: A first-year in Barbhandel. She's rather shy, but when provoked, she'll show her fangs. When given the chance, her words are sharp.

Allie Thyme: A second-year in Barbhandel. She's constantly challenging Jamie at any moment, but always losing. She's aggressive and dislikes people in general.

Bonnie "Sweetie" Primera: The Vice-Housewarden of Barbhandel, she is the great peacemaker of the house, and patches up everyone after fights. No one challenges her for her position out of respect.

Crowndain

A house that follows the tenants of tradition set by The Horned King. They are a mysterious house that specializes in fairy magic and old artifacts. Most of the students that graduate from this house go on to be archaeologists. Members of this dorm tend to also have large magic reserves. Their dorm uniforms are inspired by 1950's couture. Their Skirts are red. Their sister dorm at Night Raven college is Diasomnia. Important members include:

Cornelia Arawn: The Housewarden of Crowndain, she is rarely seen on campus. She usually sends out her two attendants to retrieve everything. She has a mysterious past with Iola.

Iola: A second-year in Crowndain, she is a kind soul who had to be held back a year due to an incident. She cannot control her magic well, causing accidents.

Gwyn Thaints: A second-year in Crowndain, she is mischievous and one of Cornelia's attendants. She is known to slink around campus in search of anything she is set upon.

Wynne Thaints: A first-year in Crowndain, she is quiet, rude, and seemingly self-centered, but rumor has it that it's a ruse. She excels academically, but she has a need to appear strong.

under cut bc emotional

so back in 2019 i drew this kasumi for new years, and was really excited bc my big faves from heroes (laegy and hrid) got added as new years characters! but it happened that around that time, i had to go through major life changes bc of family/finances, and lost a lot of contact with most of my social connections (i dont really want to elaborate tbh). and then to make matters worse it didnt look even salvageable to put my art of kasumi next to laegy and hrid bc of the difference in proportions (ironically i had been studying at an art school, but i felt like nothing actually improved my art, at least not to an extent worth the cost and stress). and tbh the heroes fanbase (at least the eng speaking side) is really picky abt proportions and artwork. and imo theyre extremely toxic abt it (and a lot of other things). so i just felt the lowest of low.

but i havent given up and have been trying, basically every year, to draw kasumi outfits, including the new years one. like when plumie got new years, and last year w elm. (em also has a ny outfit i want to draw). and finally this year i colored it, color scheme a tribute to the previous 2019 kasumi outfit.

and finally, here it is.

kasumi's color scheme is in reference to her kind of "plain"/"npc" sort of appearance, which is exactly the point. i wanted to have reds and blues in her clothing to represent nifl and muspell, as she is a friend to both laegy and hrid. i made her hairpin closer to my irl one (the inspiration for this) and tried to make the colors match more closely. also kasumi's weapon changed from an omikuji to a fukubukuro, partly bc the 2019/2020 ny also took omikuji and attached it to characters who were less than respectful imo. side eyes emoji tea sipping emoji.

anyways like i said i also made em for this and will try and draw her too! tbh it does make me really happy to do justice to the design that left me so sad years ago.
