His trunk went off like a large trumpet, and flapped his ears in warning, this was his territory. The rest of the herd just let him do his thing. The Budbudyanchi Tali or the bubble lake is called as Budbud Talli or Bomadyanchi Talli locally. Located in green Netravali in the Sanguem taluka it is attached to the Gopinath temple.A huge box-shaped laterite pedestal is located at the centre of the tank. You can see continuous bubbles rising up to the surface at different spots, beautiful sight to see. Various legends and beliefs have been followed regarding the origin of these bubbles and one of it well known is a miracle of the local deity. However, according to scientists, the bubbles can be caused by sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, limestone or methane.
