headcanon that percy and annabeth routinely swap weapons in battle. it's not a concious feat. it's just that they consider themselves a single unit when fighting for their lives. so their partner's weapon is also their weapon.

the image of könig just holding up this bigass foal to every one of his studs is sending me. just this. bigass dude carrying this bigass baby up while trying to figure out which one of them is the father. scolding his studs because one of those mfs wifed up honey before he could wife up bee and he's miffed.
People driving by his ranch just slow down to watch this giant of a man holding up a huge foal to one of his studs, squinting at the pattern on the stud's nose vs the foal. He shakes his head and moves onto the next one. Tells all his horses how disappointed in them for this, how they could've hurt poor Honey, how he expects them to be good fathers to this baby. The horses say nothing, because they're horses.
See also, Bee watches König pick up this huge ass baby like it's nothing and the foal barely even registers it's off the ground. Just chillin' in König's arms as he moves it out of the stall to clean. Very distracted by the way his biceps bulge under his shirtsleeves. Stands and chews on her nails watching him work with a dreamy stare until König can't stand her staring anymore and has to ask her to leave the barn.
"I'm not fucking you in the barn Schatz." But he will.

About Macaque's death- it's been raised that in the flashback, we can see what looks like a battlefield around him. Some have even spectacled that the mountain Macaque brings MK to in his debut episode is the same battlefield.
And...when Sandy flashbacks to what seems to be Sha Wukong's memories...what do we see but a battlefield?
I think your thought that there was two battles between Macaque and Wukong, if Wukong did kill Macaque (I believe he didn't), is correct. However, Wukong spared Macaque the first time, probably bc Macaque hadn't done anything too bad to the pilgrims. The second, he didn't...
Because Macaque succeeded in killing the pilgrims.
Let me set up a screenshot conspiracy board real quick:
I swear these are all related (I've mentioned this before somewhere). I don't know how or why, but deep in my heart I want to believe this battle will be touched on.
Now, I don't know if the battle that took place is related to SWK & Macaque's fight or not, and I'm also not positive that there even were 2 fights (I was just throwing stuff out there), but Macaque killing the pilgrims (or more likely just having a hand in their death, "I didn't do this!" "You weren't not involved" anyone?) is definitely something to consider.

It feels like people only like/defend Palworld because it has elements of games they believe are 'actually good games' with the realistic graphics and the survival aspect and guns. Its not just the creature designs that are a mishmash of copied assets but the gameplay and visuals are very much just Ark but with Pokemon instead of dinosaurs.
While there isn't any evidence of AI (yet) used in development it just wouldn't surprise me if it was, I don't care so much that they stole details from Pokemon but the possibility that they're stealing from artists is just awful. It just makes me feel hopeless as an artist myself who loves creature collectors that it doesn't take a lot of effort at all for you to make a game and for it to give you millions in numbers back.
If you want Pokemon to make better games you don't have to support Palworld, its so odd to me how people can love Palworld but shit on other creature collectors like TemTem or Yo-Kai Watch for being too similar or a rip-off yet when the most blatant game comes along everyone is willing to defend it, it just makes me feel hopeless about art and game development overall. If you want to 'send Pokemon a message' just stop buying their games and their merch, just stop giving them money.
