How would you react after seeing a long-lost friend...?

Phew…. And here it is! See? I told you I was working on something more finished. This lovely scene (which I will say absolutely nothing about) is directly from Days of Laughs and Nights of Screams by the wonderful @justaduckarts

I needed to make the scene slightly darker because of the two nighttime animatronics, however, I was worried that it was getting too dark so I made the executive decision to lighten some areas up. The designs for Phantom Bonnie and Moon are all based off the story but with my own style sprinkled into the design.

I wanna talk more about it, but I cannot do this scene justice. This is literally one of my favorite parts of the story and it got me hard. Oh my gosh… just go read the story, trust me. I need to go reread it again, it’s so good!

Also, it bothers me how the details in the bigger pictures get pixelated.

The Hug

Just a little DLNS Hurt/Comfort side drabble <3

Phantom Bonnie centric, 500 words.

TW: Mentions of Near Death Experiences, Implied PTSD (both very brief)

"You can do it."

The sound of Phantom Bonnie's joints rattling didn't exactly instill confidence. The both of you were trembling, looking at each other wide-eyed as you took steady steps towards one another. PB's steps grew smaller and more timid the closer they got to you.

The poor black rabbit looked more frightened than you were. And that was a feat.

It had been a few months since Phantom Bonnie had been brought back online. The two of you had never been resentful of one another, but there was certainly fear.

After all, the rabbit had almost crushed you to death. While you knew that wasn't his fault, it was still hard to be near them. And it was just as hard for them to be near you.

Still.

You both desperately wanted to try. After all, PB was one of Moon's best friends.

So, here you were. Taking shy steps towards the rabbit animatronic. Trying to keep your breathing even.

Finally, you were within arm's reach.

"Hi," you said quietly, unable to think of anything else to say.

"Heya," PB chuckled awkwardly, "this is, uh…"

"Awkward?" You laughed. PB nodded, relieved by your laughter.

Moon and Mason were standing by, watching the two of you with baited breath. Moon's hands fidgeted as he looked on. He hated seeing the two of you so worked up.

"Well," you sighed, "no time like the present. Right?" When you opened your arms, PB could see the tension in your shoulders.

"If you aren't ready," Phantom Bonnie said gently, that Southern twang of his voice rattling around in your mind, "we could put this off…"

"It's not that," you shook your head, "I trust you. It's like… my body won't listen to me."

"I know exactly what that's like," PB hung their head, ears drooping. Ah. Guilt twisted your stomach as you realized your poor word choice.

"Oh, gosh, PB, I'm so-

"Don't feel bad," the rabbit animatronic shook their head, "I know you didn't mean it like that. I'm okay." He looked down at their hands, curling and uncurling his fingers.

"This is our body, and it's under our control," they said quietly, "and we're okay."

Your throat felt tight. You didn't think. You just stepped forward and threw your arms around the shadowy rabbit. A soft chuckle fell out of them as they wrapped their arms around you. Both of you were trembling like leaves in the wind.

Despite how badly your body wanted you to run, you felt warm there. PB patted your back. They were holding onto you to comfort himself as much as they were to comfort you.

You didn't seem to mind one bit though.

With a soft sigh, you finally released the rabbit.

"Uh," you looked off to the side, a chuckle tumbling out of you, "sorry."

"Don't be," PB patted your shoulder, "I'm glad. Thank you."

As you looked up at the rabbit, you smiled. Then, with a warm laugh, you wrapped him in another hug.

"Thank you, too."

I’m really super excited for this next piece that I’m working on from “Days of Laughs and Nights of Screams” by @justaduckarts

Please excuse the WIP messiness. The first image was more of a color study, I’m trying to see how dark or light I need to go in certain areas of the piece. Also, I can’t make it too light, because nighttime animatronics.

I’m not going to say anything about the story, or what’s going on, or why it’s going on. You’re just gonna have to go read it (it’s reeeeeally good). For those of you who do know… this part, this part right here got me hard.

I think abt them a lot. Phantom Bonnie frequently got complaints because he was "not scary enough". Because they share a body w/ Showtime Bonnie, management couldn't do much about their exterior. So, they did the next best thing... they ruined his voice.

It was only a few months into the park's opening, so no one really knows this happened besides Showtime Bonnie and Freddy.

Thanks to the corrosion in PB's voice, most of the animatronics can't understand them when he speaks. PB still tries very hard to make friends! Thankfully, Moon has slightly better speech software (for understanding children w/ speech impediments)! So PB and Moon became fast friends. :)

PB has made quite a few requests to management to get their voice fixed. But management seems unconcerned with Bonnie's plight...

ok ok ok ok but do you see the vision. do you feel it in your bones??

two pilots who drifted incredibly well in the beginning of the program piloted the Eclipse. Because the government was pushing to popularize the jaegers, it was heavily themed and the pilots were nicknamed Solas and Lunar or Sun and Moon for short.

Eclipse was originally part of the "Glamrock" line of jaegers that were made to appeal to the public and hopefully bring some more money to the struggling program. This, obviously, failed when a rebel group (started by the notorious mafia boss William Afton (ex jaeger pilot, lost his other half Henry and supposedly lost the jaeger named Springsuit in the ocean while fighting a black and white striped kaiju nicknamed the Puppet) started hacking the program in what appeared to be a fit of rage over his lost jaeger and co-pilot.

He hacked the Glamrocks one by one, in subtle ways at first that barely affected their performance in battle, at least at first. It was just subtle enough to go unnoticed until it was too late.

Bonnie was the first to go, falling victim to the virus and Afton's control. Foxy fell shortly after, but they were able to recover the body and refurbish it into a new jaeger named Roxy.

When the Eclipse started to show signs of wear from the virus, there was talk of scrapping them. But sun and moon insisted they were fit to pilot and so the eclipse embarked on a fetal final mission. It fell to a kaiju that was mostly blue with two horizontal white stripes. Eclipse was thought to be lost to the bottom of the ocean. That was, until a kaiju with a red top-half and a ring of white around its neck found it. The fight stirred up water and brought the Eclipse close enough to the surface to get a radar reading on it. Turns out, the Eclipse was wandering the bottom of the ocean this entire time, its pilots just barely surviving in stasis inside. Pentecost took them in (in the new and questionably legal jeager program) and refurbished the Eclipse with a far less flashy look. it was built for speed, attacking quickly and with precision.
