One of my absolute favorite new Peter/Nebula parallels/connections, that I just have to leave here and that makes me ship them even more, is how they both showed their love for Rocket by gifting him the two most precious gifts - Bucky's arm and the Zune!
Rocket probably never shut up about that arm during the Blip years and I assume Nebula went to great lengths to retrieve it (or she just made Drax and Mantis do it while they were abducting Kevin Bacon, hey, might as well steal an arm, too).
And Peter left Rocket his most treasured belonging after having been so mad at him in the beginning for taking his stuff.
They both just love him so much!

i think a lot more people ship peter/nebula than it seems, what w the engagement i’ve seen on my ao3 fics in addition to what i’ve seen mainstream twitter—aka anyone but hardcore stans—posting. i think people are hesitant to being outspoken ab enjoying nebuquill because of toxic starmora shippers and nebula stans who are insistent that their personal headcanons are fact.

My favourite Starbula moments:
When I saw Nebula carrying Peter scene in the trailer, I knew something changed between them.
I loved how much Nebula cared for him and was worried. She was upset looking at his condition deteriorating and felt helpless.
The way everyone was asking her if Peter is okay, what she thinks they should do with him is such a 'significant other' position of her.
The touching scene was so soft between them. She was heartbroken but made peace with it. I felt bad because she might have accepted the fact that she will always come second to Gamora.
Towards the ending,when Mantis shouted at her for being rude to everyone, it felt her anger comes from a lot of self hatred; what Thanos did to her.
"She calls me Star Lord when she is angry" is such a cute moment. That's something a couple would do. 🤭
I loved how much it affected Peter.
"Let me in" when Peter said this to Nebula while she was entering the dressing room... My dirty mind 😳😅
I mean he said it in such a normal way. Did they changed their clothes together before??? Are they comfortable???
The eye scene just made me their fan. When Nebula dismissed Peter's feelings and that hahaha. I'm like 'Girl don't lie... You feel something.'
I don't know why... Peter could have said no to Gamora's words, but he didn't and instantly stared at Nebula. As if, he felt something but never paid attention to it and this is the first time someone said it loud and he acknowledged it.
Later, Peter helping injured Nebula got me thinking. Either Gamora or Mantis could have supported her and Peter should have been with Drax due to the physicality.
I loved when Nebula protected Peter from Gamora and admitted that he is family to her. Looking at her temperament, she could have shouted at him for bothering her sister as well as not focusing on the mission. She never did throughout the whole movie.
The argument between Mantis and Nebula is such a funny sister in laws moment and Peter shouting at both of them to stop. 😂
Nebula not able to open the door and later Peter unable to drive. I agree with everyone who said they are giving old married couple vibes.
Peter insisting her to stay when High Evolutionary called only Peter and Groot, that they will be alright while she was still worried. Her jumping onto the spaceship when things went south.
Her calling Peter to let him know help is coming. Peter being disappointed, that she knows him better and he always finds a way.
Their epic fight scene was 🔥🔥🔥
They were so much in sync.
Nebula almost losing it when Peter was saved and him asking her if that looked cool was such an adorable moment.
Later, Nebula asking him whether he is alright after Gamora left was also a touching scene.
From the beginning to the end, she always cared for him and was there for him.
I hope this is not the end and we get to see more of their relationship develop. 🤞
