Six Sentence Sunday Monday!
The time difference gets me again!! Tagged by @fastcardotmp3, thanks angel.
This is slightly more than six sentences from a follow up to one of my femslash week fics that people asked me to continue!! (If I am brave it may be ghouls first smut, we shall see)
"No, no." Nancy calms her before she can get too excited, "Listen."
There's a stretch of silence while they both wait for whatever it is Robin is supposed to be listening for, which Nancy hasn't quite figured out yet herself.
They're opposites in how the tension sits with them, she notices. While she freezes, Robin seems to rapidly generate frenetic energy, and her didgets and facial muscles twitch with the effort to hold it all back.
Nancy thinks about the scene in Jurassic Park, that you need to keep stone-still for the T-Rex to pass you by.
Robin would be eaten alive, she thinks sadly.
The tangent doesn't do anything for her nerves.

Moping under the cut
I'm not doing great at the moment!!! I feel like I have done so much of my life just surviving and so I know how to just 'get on' with things. and this means people don't notice when I'm struggling. And i don't want people to know. I don't want to put anyone out! but also it hurts me a lil bit that people don't see it when I am sinking.
It also sucks because I know why I'm feeling like this yet I still feel powerless to do anything to make myself feel better. I logically know that I will feel better if I clean. Or go for a walk. But I am sad about things I can't change so motivating myself to do anything is just... Not happening.
I work in childrens mental health 9-5 M-F. I know the advice. I give it. I see things improve for the people I work with. Then I go home and I'm entirely too burnt out to apply any of it to myself.
I don't even feel that bad yet, but I know this is how I feel before things get worse.
