They seek him here, they seek him there. Those Frenchies seek him everywhere. Is he in heaven or is he in hell? That demned elusive Pimpernel!
The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982) as the film poster, playbill & book cover.

Husbands I want to slap --
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just because I'm morbidly curious what would happen if I did slap either of these men (knowing I'd probably die)
Tumblr media
It would have be a left-handed slap, because I'd feel bad about hitting his scars.
Tumblr media
This bitch, however -- Young Wilhuff is just asking for a beating.
Tumblr media
Slap fish --- just kidding. I could never touch this sweet baby girl.

I've been trying to figure out my "type" for favourite characters - so here are my top 10 male characters in film - any pattern?

Sink me!
I found soooo many good memes on this lovely platform, that I've decided to contribute with my own! The last two is a pair, I came across this library tweet and I immediately thought about our Percy so I had to make that new version! (Also to me Percy gives off such golden retriever energy!)
The memes are also from the books so there is a tiny spoiler I guess in those😅 Honestly read them books!!! The first 5 is sooo good, there are also some really great things in other parts, jut read it! Btw I LOVE the fact that the audience at the time demanded all these new adventures and the Baroness was like listening!!! and serving!!! and gave us almost 15 books, basically fanfics about her own characters💅🏻
Also shoutout to the MUSICAL, (still pisses me off how forgotten it is!) Douglas Sills as Percy is pure perfection, the soundtrack and the LYRICS are just out of this world soo why are u still reading this and why aren't you violently typing it in Spotify or YouTube or Idon'tknowit'southerepeoplesodoyourselfafavorandgiveitalisten! Ok, Love u💋

Plot Twist: he’s The Scarlet Pimpernel. He saves people from getting guillotined during the French Revolution.
Sarah Collins
she's this cute little ghost girl who tries to protect people from her older brother's atrocities (he's a vampire) and then she straight up calls him out and tells him to stop being evil bc she's MAD AT HIM. she also died in his arms bc he was cursed to have anyone who loved him die, it was very sad :((( she also (as a ghost) helped the girl her vampire brother kidnapped escape thru a secret passage. she's <3

Thinking about doing something completely different… may I introduce you to:
“Romance and Revolution:” A Retelling of the Scarlet Pimpernel
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ve been sitting on an original novel for… 10 years… Lacking the confidence to get it out in front of people. Hoping, at last, to post chapters and scenes for those who want to read it.
If you like volatile, morally grey love interests, dashing heroes with secret identities and possible split personalities, and a female character who is torn between the two, you will love…
Romance and Revolution 🇫🇷🌸⚔️
Voilà: Part I: Marguerite
Paris, France
14 July, 1789
L’Introduction
A swirl of heat and smoke surrounding her, she waded through the crumbling prison walls and relished the rubble that stuck between the toes of her bare feet. Gasping for free air, she filled her lungs and paused for a moment to push one small brick of unfeeling prison granite from its precarious, half-destroyed mount. It cracked to the ground opposite, shattering and deafening her. It thrilled her with power, a power coursing through her with life. Behind her, the surge of the mob still rumbled in the distance, and their cheers at each traitor's death sliced through the gradually growing silence that she found. Marguerite St. Just’s delicate face eased into a pleasing smile, stepping through the dilapidation and destruction of the Bastille around her. As the hot Paris wind caught the straying dark blonde locks of her hair, she felt a cold shiver run down her spine. Glancing behind her, she saw him still perched on horseback, still towering from the parapet high above her. His face hid in shadow, shadow as dark as his hair and as distant as his twisted smile. All the same, she knew he was watching her. She walked away under the gaze of this new Hero of the People.
