can we talk about how natural of a first kiss that was in episode 5? the build up of the night up to the kiss was something out of a real love story.

Phum and Peem were constantly catching each other stealing glances during the festival, and you could just see the wheels spinning in their heads, taking note of the other's interest.

For example, Phum going so far as to say "you think I'm handsome, don't you" when he catches Peem staring, only for Peem to pretty much immediately start staring again once he gets called out, almost like he's desperately trying to convey that yes, yes he does find him handsome, and maybe, maybe Phum should kiss him about it.

Because of those glances and gestures throughout the festival, the kiss itself was such a natural conclusion to the evening; Phum holding the stuffed animal he had gifted Peem, Peem getting dropped off at the door but clearly not really wanting to leave just yet, both just smiling at each other and realizing the other was just, happy to be around them the whole evening, ... and then the moment you can just see it hit Peem that he needs to kiss this man right now, because it's the natural conclusion to the night. and he just really wants to.

I can't think of any other GMMTV first kiss that felt so perfectly timed in a series. I adore PhumPeem.

If I had a nickel for each time I watched a show and wanted to protect Phuwin's character from Pond's character despite knowing they're going to end up together romantically I'd have two nickels and that's not a lot but I really wasn't expecting the second one.
