I was so surprised and happy to find these maps of The Soviet Union and Leningrad inside The Bronze Horseman by @paullinasimons I really liked being able to refer to them and see where the happenings of the book were taking place. I just finished The Summer Garden, which was the third and final book in The Bronze Horseman series. Words are not enough to explain the vast depth of emotion, the research and knowledge, the stellar character development and the sheer brilliance that went into the writing of this series. It was whole and complete and absolutely stunning from the start of the 2,111 pages to the very end. I laughed, I cried.... I cried some more (really there were a lot of tears) and somehow at the end still felt whole and complete despite the tragic beauty of each book. Whether you are a Historical Fiction fan or not, these books are must reads and come highly recommended by me! If you don’t believe me I Challenge you to read the first few chapters of The Bronze Horseman and see for yourself! You will not want to stop, trust me on that! I know that these books have left a mark on my heart and will stay with me for years and years to come 💗. .
