Everybody talks about Goncharov, but nobody remembers the 1975 parody published on Topolino, written by Guido Martina and drawn by Giovan Battista Carpi? That was a blast! Unfortunately it has never been reprinted. Hopefully someone will eventually do something about it.
[I don't have time nor skills to develop further the idea, but if someone wants to engage in it, they're free to do as they like :-) ]
This delightful cactus comes from along the border between Uruguay and Brasil, and it is somewhat intermediate between the yellow-flowered Notocactus mammulosus and the pink or magenta-flowered Notocactus herteri. It has been placed by different authors as a subspecies under both of these, but it has also been seen by others as a species in its own right. To complicate things further, some classifiers have seen fit to include all of the species in Notocactus within an enlarged concept of Parodia, so as a result there are many names to choose from for this plant! But under any name, it is a flowering machine, pumping out dozens of large pink & yellow blossoms in spring and early summer.
a very fun gene combo imo! my first dip into building out lore for the lightning flight. she cultivates and sells cactus for the plant eaters in the shifting expanse. they have a little rattlesnake and i just think theyre neat really
left current, right planned (needs ribbon, breakup, and peacock)
