//Blows dust off this blog. Wow it's been a whole year, wack.
Gonna just jump into it. I don't think I'll be coming back to this blog.
I love this au very much and I have fond memories of this blog and making art to answer your asks. But for a long time it started to feel more like a chore. I was setting this impossible standard for myself to update all the time when I really didn't have the spoons for it and I had to send myself asks 9/10 times and I only got a few notes on any given post.
I agree that creators should create for themselves, but I also think fandom is taking creators for granted. You are consuming our content and keep demanding more, as if we're machines. We share our art for others to enjoy and talk to us about with, but from my end on this blog a lot of times it felt as if I was only giving.
I'm not saying all of you are like this of course. There were also so many of you I loved seeing in my notes every time I posted and made me feel happy. I loved all your questions, all your tags on my posts, all your redraws.
If you like a fan's creations, either art or writing or cosplay. Please, please let them know. Reblog their stuff, send them silly asks. I honestly think ask blogs aren't as popular anymore because so few people send asks. They don't even need to be lore related, anything is appreciated.
I don't think I'll be coming back to this blog but I don't think I'll stop ask blogging all together. Just not as frequently. I also will be keeping this blog up. I love it just as much as you and want it to be here forever. We all deserve to be able to look back I think.
If any of you have any questions about what my plans were for the future of this blog feel free to send them here or my main @paperuniverse

WIP tag game
I was tagged by @coralcatsea and @alifeasvivid but as per usual forgot to do it so here we are. I'll list all my wips with a short idea of what everything is supposed to be when it's finished and you get to interrogate me about them. How bad could it be lol (very bad cause I only write nsfw things)
Endless Trust AU (nyo!US x UK, this AU is a whole excuse for me to explore pet play and age play/age regression kink. I think I have 2 chapters finished)
Prison AU scene (CanRus, where Matthew got himself some alone time with his only regular visitor Ivan. They have 10 minutes alone in the restroom, what will they do? ;) )
A little gender fuckery chapter 2 (will pick up where the first one ended because I was asked for more of this <3)
Untitled ScotEng wip (Alasdair pics up his little brother after said brother's boyfriend just dumped him and yeah this is all going somewhere very dark and it's a vent piece that I only work on when I'm in a bad mood tbh)
Silly little boy (nyo!UK x US, inspired by that one piece of art with Alfred in a maid dress and a glass of spilled juice next to him, what can I say femdom Alice x servant Alfred)
Fuck me myself (englandcest, but like uwu twink in a skirt Arthur x suave dom sexyman Arthur. It started as a stupid little thought and I got too invested.)
And here's one heavy outlier cause it's not hetalia for once:
Missing scene from BG3 (listen. I keep thinking about my tav offering for Astarion to feed from them during the night and he says okay I won't wake you up and then the next day tav is anaemic. I'm just filling in that hole the time skip left and yeah maybe tav isn't as asleep as Astarion thinks they are.)

🌷End of year review! 2021🌷
Thank you @maelerie @paperuniverse @fireandiceland @froggi-mushroom for tagging me, this is such a nice end of year reflection to do !✨🎉
1. What fandoms did you create for?
Hetalia! Because HWS was airing, but also made some Eurovision memes
2. How many works did you make this year? Fics (posted on ao3 or tumblr or wherever), edits, gifsets, moodboards, playlists, fanart, vids, meta?
Let's say a good handful of memes from the Hetalia show and another handful of cursed shitposts. Was mostly active like April-August then got a little busy with work. Wrote 4 fics and collaborated on 1!👀✨
3. What are you most proud of?
my FRUK frog prince fic because that was my baby and I loved writing it so much🥺🥺it is the longest thing I've ever published- 10k words! But then the first work I've ever published was the much ado about fruk in May :0 So I'm proud of myself for publishing my first work on ao3 this year!
4. Any stats you wanna tell us about?
I just worked out that I've written 26k words this year (my own fics not including the gerfra discord collaboration)
5. What inspired you this year? Any specific works or creators?
The fandom being more active since hws started airing! Like, some fruk art inspired my much ado about nothing fruk fic and nice tags someone left inspired me me write the first chapter of the lipton's tea fic. The gerfra and fruk discords are also 👌🏻 Biigggg shoutout to the passionate, amazing writers and super encouraging @breitzbachbea @fireandiceland @iship2muchshit @maryeve-the-bitch @maelerie💕💕 brainstorming ideas with these guys and getting feedback makes writing more fun too!
6. What’s a piece you didn’t expect to make? Why?
All of it!! I had always only lurked and reblogged hetalia content, so creating stuff actively this year is crazy. But yeah, especially that delirious Arthur hating lipton's tea fic when I published all those chapters within a month lmaoooo 😂😂 I will go back to it sometime hopefully and write more (@fireandiceland 👀👀)
7. What are you excited to work on next year?
When I get time I wanna come back and do a froggy fic pt2, @breitzbachbea gave me some great ideas and I want more Prince Arthur and Francis the frog Prince chaos! I would like to write more of that Lipton's tea fic cos that shit was fun af and I have a few draft chapters I've neglected finishing up. I had a very online work at home job for the last 6 months so I just didn't wanna be on screens after it much, so my motivation for writing has droooppedd badly. Now it's ended and hopefully have more time to daydream, I wanna write more fruk drabbles😭😭😭💕💕💕
