Moon River - Frank Ocean / A Murder at the End of the World used this version perfectly in an episode, and it's rekindled my love for it.

Call Home - Paola Bennet / Lately the Spotify algorithm has been serving me up a lot of super indie artists--like, people with under 10k monthly listeners, some with under 100. I found this song that way, and I really dig it. Also the first half of the chorus is so Jaime/Brienne coded to me (Your hands drip gold/over me until I glow) so you know I can't stop listening to it.

End of the World - Searows / Searows is just always so lovely and depressing, which is frankly my sweet spot with music lmao. Anyway, I think this song is gorgeous and it's ALSO so JB coded to me that I already have a plot bunny tugging at my brain for when I finish my current WIP.

Black Hole - boygenius Must one understand what a song is about to love it? Like sure, I went on genius lyrics and read what they've said about it and I vaguely get it, but there's just also something very comforting and trancelike about the verse Lucy and Phoebe sing even if I have no idea what it has to do with the first verse. What I'm saying is--the song is 2:21 and it's very easy to just throw it on repeat and listen to 10 times in a row lol.

10. you have to get a lyric tattoo - what is it?

ahh. my tattoo artist friend is not really into words in tattoos and i tend to agree, and i'd worry about feeling like any quote/lyric would get cheesy to me over the years. but there are a lot of lyrics that mean a lot to me so let me think...

maybe "i'll be the banks for your river" from Banks by NEEDTOBREATHE as an homage to my partner

i also like small artist (who used to be on tumblr, idk if she still is) Paola Bennet, she is such a talented musician and songwriter. from "Morning" I would maybe get "if morning will rise, then I will get there" to continue the theme for me of making it through my darkest moments

23. how did you discover your favorite artist?

I'm more of a song person than an artist person, if that makes sense, but some of my big artists - I grew up on Taylor Swift since I was tiny (I'm not a superfan or follow her as a person but I still like most of her music), and a friend I've known since elementary school introduced me to both Bastille (beyond their popular radio song I'd heard) and Ron Pope. I think I stumbled into some of my favorite country artists (like Maren Morris) on Pandora or something years ago when I was in my country phase and spotify wasn't really a thing yet.

it's actually so funny that paola bennet is apparently an actual singer/songwriter who's released some eps but if you go on her genius page her #1 song is still nico's lullaby (soldatino) .... perhaps impossible to escape the pjo fandom

I want to go for a solo country drive and have a life changing realization to this song.
