After hours and hours of hard work to fix Phillip the sun began to rise and D10 realized that it was time for him to get going.
D10: sorry Glynn... I..
Glynn: I understand.. *he smiled a bit* you did great 10.. thank you for helping me with fixing Phillip..
D10: *he felt happy but sad* heh... No problem... Well.. I should go....
Glynn: hey.. can you tell Toby or at least someone so Toby knows what happened to Phillip... Because I think everyone still thinks that Phillip is still staying with his other friends...
D10: oh.. ok.. I'll go tell Gordon or Edward they are the closest...
Glynn: well alright... See you later I guess
D10: yeah... See ya *he left quickly and quietly.*
Once D10 got outside he sighed and stood there for a while and then he looked up and began to walk. D10 was thinking to himself while he was walking by himself.
D10: *he felt a horrible headache coming up* !!!-... my head is killing me... *Sigh* ... Maybe I'm over thinking about stuff... Everything will be fine.... Just breathe and just tell them what happened.... I haven't seen them in a long time... I wonder how they are doing..... Probably not good really....
(This part of the comic was from me and @kingdicemrwheezyflowertor rp ( this is just part of the comic. You don't have to continue the RP.)
When Sir Topham saw something peeking out of Edwards mouth. Sir Topham back up a bit in surprise.
Sir Topham: *He looked at @kingdicemrwheezyflowertor Victor and whispered to him* D-Do you.. see that? *As he kept eyes on this creature.*
The creature tried to escape once again but Sir Topham ran up to it and grabbed as tight as he could to the creature and with all his strength he pulled...
Sir Topham: !!!?- *gasp!!*
The corrupted parasite screamed loud as it was freed from Edward's body.
Then the corrupted parasite screamed once again and used it tail to attack Sir Topham. Sir Topham tries to get out of the way but it is too late.
Everything went dark for Sir Topham and then he slowly regained his strength to move a bit, but every time he moved it was horrible the pain on top of his head and his arm...
Well... The somewhat remains of Sir Topham's arm. The pain became worse and worse and then Sir Topham screamed loud from the pain.
Henry: *he quickly runs in once he hears screaming and yelling* WHAT IS GOING ON-- *GASP!!*
The corrupted parasite ran past Henry causing Henry to fall over hard to the ground it did not care for the others it was looking for only one humanoid. The corrupted parasite got closer to Thomas's room but when it checked no one was in there then the corrupted parasite heard a gasp right behind him. The corrupted parasite quickly turned to see little Thomas scared and helpless.
Thomas: !!!! *Tears started running down his eyes from fear and quickly started to back up from the creature. He tried to scream but nothing came out.*
The corrupted parasite quickly grabbed Thomas. Thomas was crying and trying his best to make the parasite to let go.
Henry: *he looked up and realized what happened* !!!!- LET GO OF THOMAS!! *he tried to get Thomas but this thing was too fast for Henry.*
The corrupted parasite quickly tried to get out of the house with Thomas while most of everyone tried to get Thomas back. Then someone blocked the corrupted way and caused it to stop and growled. Owen stood in the way of the corrupted and yelled loud.
Owen: LET GO OF HIM NOW!
The corrupted parasite screamed in anger at Owen and tried to escape another way.
Owen: I said.. *his body started to change and his face started to rip open revealing the monster Owen really is.*
Owen: LET HIM GO!! *As he jumps on the parasite and attacks it.*
Thomas: *he got thrown to the ground and realized that he should run now but slowly realizing that he was horribly hurt but he kept running from them and hid in Percy's room.*
Percy: !!!- w-what.. happening!?-
Thomas: *he grabbed Percy and they quickly hid in the closet.*
The two were horrified. Thomas was trying everything to keep his injuries from getting worse and worse. They heard the horrifying noises of screaming, yelling, and stuff breaking from outside of the closet. The two were in tears they wished and begged that this was just a dream but no matter how hard they tried it was not a dream it is reality.
The corrupted parasite tried everything to find Thomas while it was still getting attacked by the others. The parasite was ripping out doors to rooms to find Thomas. Percy and Thomas heard it get closer and closer and then a very loud crash happened, the parasite got into Percy's room and was searching for Thomas. The two tried their best to not be heard or seen. The parasite got closer and closer to the closest and then it stopped as it heard someone.
Harold: You better get out of here now... *He said in an angry voice. Then he grabbed the parasite by the head and slammed it to the ground.*
The corrupted screamed loudly in pain. It quickly tries to fight back, it was able to injure Harold but not enough for Harold to give up. As this was all happening the sun began to slowly rise. Everyone did everything to get this creature out or tried to kill it. Harold grabs the creature once again and throws it down the stairs.
The corrupted was angered and tried to jump at Harold but then Gordon and Rebecca tried everything they had and pulled it away from the stairs. Owen quickly ran down the stairs and grabbed it by the head and started to drag it, the parasite screamed and tried to injured Owen or anyone with its claws or tail. Eventually it got Rebecca by its tail. Rebecca screamed in pain as she hit the ground.
Gordon got angered quickly and tried to attack the parasite but Harold quickly flew down the stairs and grabbed Gordon from doing something stupid. Harold understand the anger Gordon had when Rebecca got hurt from the parasite but Owen already had it taken care of.
*With D10*
He was walking by the house but stopped when he heard the screaming and stuff breaking.
D10: (thinking to himself): Huh? What is going on over there? *He decided to walk closer to see what was going on. He got to a window and peeked inside.*
As D10 peeked inside the window that he was looking through, the corrupted parasite got thrown out of the window fortunately D10 fell to the ground and was able to get out of the way.
The parasite was screaming and squirming around in pain and anger. D10 quickly backed up but the parasite turned to D10 and quickly noticed him. The parasite ran towards D10 and tried to take him but as it was running to him the sun rose. The parasite quickly fell and screamed as the sun burned it even though it looked like seconds of pain for the parasite it felt like hours of torture on it, but fortunately for the parasite it was able to go into the forest it gave D10 an angered look and then it limped away from everyone and disappeared into the darkness of the forest...
D10: ... W-what the actual hell.... *He said in fear and as he felt familiar eyes staring at him from the darkness of the forest but he never knew why they felt so familiar to him.*
First and Foremost; HAPPY PRIDE MONTH LOVELY FLOWERS!!!
Honestly; I wish today could be smoother but sadly luck just had to say no to me. One; I have a stomachache that won’t leave me be but at least I was able to eat something and I don’t feel nausea.
Second is that a Fellow TikToker who is like my acquaintance ended up getting banned off of Tiktok for the Second time in his career for Absolutely no reason! He even said so himself that he was in the middle of his live and then he got a Notification saying that he was banned.
Tiktok is drunk as hell! I may use it but this is just stupid even for them! So I made an announcement about it on my Tiktok that This Acquaintance of mine is not coming back because their done with TikTok’s BS. HOWEVER!!! They do have an Instagram and a YouTube so thank god for that.
I guess the one good thing that happened besides being able to eat something despite my aching belly is that I got to go live with this acquaintance on Instagram. I hope I can do it again; He’s a nice guy who makes me laugh a lot because of a character he is well known for on his TikTok; Instagram and YouTube.
If some of you follow my Tiktok; You should have seen the video I did and if not; Give it a look and for those that haven’t; I wish I can post the long video here but I feel like it would be too long.
NOW! To counter this little rant of mine; I have some Art to show off!! Some could be for Pride; Some may not; Some you may have or haven’t seen but either way; Have a looksie!
Who should play Omni-Man in a live action Invincible?
Whether you are an avid watcher of Invincible or not, at this point you probably know the character of Omni-Man through the zeitgeist, merchandise, or memes.
Since JK Simmons interpretation of the character, Omni-Man has sky rocketed into popularity. The incredible villain was a major part of Invincible's success, giving us a very violent, angry and conflicted performance from Simmons.
Given there will be a live action film, currently in the works from Allen the Alien actor Seth Rogen, I thought I'd throw some names in the mix who I think could be potentially great Omni-Men.
Warning: This will contain spoilers from Seasons 1 & 2 of Invincible so be warned!
Who can't be Omni-Man?
Before we get started into who could, I am gonna limit myself a bit. Let's start with the obvious, JK Simmons is too old. He's fantastic, and I love his version, but he can't be Nolan. Might I suggest Conquest, Art, or best of all, Cecil?
I also have no intention of picking actors who have played Superman. So Henry Cavill, Brandon Routh, etc, no dice.
Also in general, I'm gonna try to avoid actors who already have an iconic performance as a superhero character. So actors like Hugh Jackman, Ben Affleck and others won't be on this list either.
And finally, I've seen the fancasts of both Jon Hamm and Nick Offerman. Frankly I like both. But I think we can do better.
What are Nolan Grayson's Physical Characteristics?
Omni-Man needs to feel like the most dangerous man in the room AND the world's greatest hero. It's a very delicate balance to pull.
I'd prefer someone over 6 ft tall, with a background in both heroic and menacing roles.
Nolan is a viltrumite, meaning he could be any race or ethnicity.
If he can rock a mustache, even better.
I'm looking for an actor in their late 30s to early 50s. We have a little room to work with as his age is slower, but someone in their 40s is most preferable.
Let's get into it.
3. Colin Farrell
Starting off our list is the original Bullseye himself Colin Farrell. Though he is a little bit shorter than I would like at 5'10, Farrell brings experience, skill and likeability to Nolan, which is very necessary if we want to portray him as a good guy.
What really sold me on him is actually Saving Mr Banks, where he plays a sympathetic, problematic father who truly loves his children. That sympathy can go a long way for Omni-Man.
Where he doesn't sell me is the ruthlessness of Nolan, nor does he feel like he can be a very threatening villain. He did play a fun one, namely the Penguin in The Batman.
Really my main concern is The Penguin, as he is returning for his show and likely The Batman Part II. I'd prefer someone not as known for wearing the costume of such an iconic character.
2. Joel Edgerton
I feel like everyone forgets about good ol reliable Joel Edgerton.
If we want a villain with brutality, Edgerton can bring it. He can rock a mustache, he's played multiple convincing villains and could really make the role his own. He's held his own against power houses like DiCaprio and Maguire in Gatsby.
He's even played a few good guys, namely Uncle Owen in Obi-Won Kenobi.
The great thing about Edgerton is he falls so deep in the role, people forget it's him. It may be good to have an actor smaller than the role he's playing, but with a skill to match Simmons.
My main concern is very simple, he's 5'10". I'm sure we can make him seem bigger, but other than, he seems evil, untrustworthy. He often plays characters who are darker or troubled. Can he play 100% heroic? Or atleast faking heroic?
I think he'd do a fantastic job, but there's one more guy I'm itching to see put on the red and white.
1. Joel Kinnaman
Takeshi Kovacs. Rick Flag. Alex Murphy.
Joel Kinnaman is one of my favorite actors working today.
I think Kinnaman has both the intensity and heroic nature to be a perfect Nolan. At 44, he is in the perfect age range we want. He is 6'2", and while I admit he is leaner than I would like, bulking up to play Nolan I think is very possible.
He's got a great voice, can rock a mustache, play a convincing father, and has never truly donned a cape. He'd make a fantastic villain in a movie, and an even better hero once he joins the Coalition of Planets.
I think he'd add a different enough performance while being able to stand up to a great actor like Simmons. Joel Kinnaman is my ideal Omni-Man.
Thank you so much for reading! Please consider following, and check out my socials and other sites here! And let me know: Who do you want to see play Omni-Man in a live action Invincible?
(c) James Bond Franchise ; (c) Elizabeth / Elizabeth The Golden Age ; (c) Hannibal Lecter Franchise ; (c) Superman Franchise ; (c) King Arthur ; (c) Shakespeare in Love ; (c) Batman Franchise ; (c) Hamlet
click on this link, and tell me who does the character better!
here are my choices and why.
[and yes, i'm in a movie mood.. dunno why]
James Bond:
Moore……..what can i say, i love my 007s when they are oozing with suave and charm… hell…. i think he even BREATHES in it… -_- Connery's all voice but Moore's demeanor….DAMN. yes, damn!! …sorry, but Craig is just waaaay too….. uhm.. too much of a model, yes. i mean seriously, that thing he does with his lips?
Batman:
Christian Bale. sadly, i am guilty of not having seen The Dark Knight. sorry. but still. he's the man.. because… he's DARK when he's batman… and a total CHARMER when he's bruce wayne. and..well.. that IS the point, right?
Superman: Christopher Reeve.
Why? Because HE is SUPERMAN. He's basically the legend. >_> Routh tries though… but he's not quite there yet.
Hannibal Lecter: Anthony Hopkins
..i swear, that man.. is creepy on screen. If you disagree…. well, try watching his thriller flicks. hell… he's scary without saying ANYTHING. he's already scary when he STARES. -_-
don't get me wrong though, Hopkins is a GREAT actor… even when he plays in nonthriller flicks.
King Arthur: Clive Owen. hands down.
Yeah, JT is not even within an INKLING of Clive Owen as Arthur. I mean… COME ON. That voice…those eyes. uhm. yeah. i'll shut up now.
Hamlet: Laurence Olivier
…..don't get me wrong. the others were great. but…. yes, there's a but. and that "but" is that they aren't Laurence Olivier. LOL.
Olivier was…. a legend. Gibson was too…. i dunno…ruffy? is that even a word? Branagh was… great, as usual… but Olivier is still better. and the other guy? uhm…. dunno him…haha… but it seems like a modern interpretation of the play. and…..well… if you know Hamlet… then you also know that a modern Hamlet is…. nothing but an emo kid… really. >_>
Pocahontas: don't be ridiculous. you do NOT compare real life actors to animated ones and their voice actors.
…i'm skipping the others since i have no clue and i'd rather not judge without knowledge, yknow?
Queen Elizabeth I: Judi Dench AND Cate Blanchett
…sorry. i can't choose. they just have that….uhm…. THING in them that makes them PERFECT, yknow? haha
….um so. whatcha think.
…oh PLEASE i KNOW mum doesn't read deviant art journals. BUT really.
I would really want her opinion on this. She is, after all, THE movie person in our little group.
so, just tell her to read and reply. kay? good. haha

NATCHITOCHES – The audience at the 40th annual Natchitoches-Northwestern State University Folk Festival held on July 26-27 was entertained and educated about the rich and diverse cultural offerings of the state. The Festival featured traditional Louisiana foods, Kidfest activities, music, traditional crafts, narrative sessions, musical informances, and cultural exhibits. This year’s Festival theme “Vive la Louisiane!” was a great success, with a very happy audience.
The Festival opened with a rousing dance, beginning with Cajun dance lessons, followed by Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue, and the night closed out with Bruce Daigrepont Cajun Band. Side stage performances included Natchitoches gospel group Joyful Sounds, 50 Man Machine, which includes NSU faculty Paul Forsyth, Collier Hyams, and Oliver Molina, and an open jam with Max & Marcy, Ed Huey, and Cane Mutiny.
