So, bit of a ramble but I swear I'll get to the point.
We actually get a not terrible amount of worldbuilding in mk9-mk11 continuity, but not enough (tbf I go feral for worldbuilding so that might just be me) and I'm really tempted to try and make the worldbuilding of MK9-mk11 make more sense and flesh it out a bit?
Like, there's so many questions left unanswered:
If the cryomancers were banished from Edenia by Sindel, why? And how did they end up in China? What was their culture before that? Did they have a language of their own, has any of it survived, did the dragons Kuai Liang finds in Arctika come from Edenia with the cryomancers or were they there before that?
Also, the Tarkatans, we know they have a language but NRS hasn't made anything substantial for it (which is fair, conlangs are hard and a lot of work to put in for what would likely be a minor part of the games) so what would their language look like? And what is their culture like, we know they value kombat, but what else? Do they have rules around who they can hunt, is anyone off limits? Do they have holidays or gods?
Kollector is an antisemetic caricature, I don't think anyone can really dispute that, so I would love to throw that out tbh. For the Naknada, what if the way Kollector behaves is just a stereotype Outworlders hold about them, and not actually the truth (seriously fu NRS for making Kollector like that, wtf)? What is their culture like? Their language? We know Shao Khan enslaved them so where did they come from before that and are they now free or still trapped?
And the Netherrealm, canonically, people go there when they die sometimes. Do people ever escape? What do they become then, are they wraiths or something else? Also what specifically is the difference between a wraith and a revenant? It's implied that spectres and wraiths are the same thing but are they? What's the hierarchy between the Oni? We know they answer to Quan Chi and Shinnok but how are they organized besides that? What is their culture (Or cultures) like? And their language?
Similarly with Edenia, what was their culture and language like? How much of it survived with Sindel and got passed down to Kitana and Jade? How many Edenians survived and now live in Outworld, bc surely Shao Khan couldn't have killed them all, not only would that be logistically impossible, it's kinda proven by the way he treats the Naknada and the Tarkatans that he prefers to keep the peoples of the realms he conquers around as a workforce, did he do the same here?
What did the other Mortal Kombat tournaments look like? Not the ones with Earthrealm but with Tarkata, the Osh-Tekk, and the Naknada (who I'm pretty sure had their own realm too?). You have to win ten consecutive tournaments to conquer a realm so what happens if you lose the third? Do you have like a cooldown period or just wait another however many years to when the fourth would be and start from there? Like do the realms being threatened need to win ten as well in order to stave off conquest?
Similarly, what specifically is the timeframe, bc a couple times they say once a generation (unclear), others (if I remember correctly) they say it's every hundred years, but then Shao Khan says he has to wait 500 years to conquer Earthrealm so is that the cooldown period? Or is that how long it took him to get to tournament ten (making it 50 years between tournaments)? Is it different depending on which realm is attacking which? Like it's once a generation but bc some live longer than others the exact amount of years varies (which seems to make the most sense)?
What even are the actual rules of Mortal Kombat? How many fighters can each side bring? Are there any weapons banned in the arena? Why can people challenge fighters on their own side and does this count as an official match and if so whose victory does the win count towards? Who is allowed to declare Mortal Kombat? Does it have to be a leader (like how Shao Khan is an emperor) or can a realm's protector god do it?
Also wtf was Outworld originally? I know we get some answers on that in games before mk9-11 but I don't know what those answers are (PLEASE feel free to yell at me about it, I BEG). Which of the nations we see under Shao Khan were part of Outworld originally, and which had their own realms?
Basically, I have many questions, I crave answers and if I cannot find them I might just create them.
Like I have headcanons and a long and boring night ahead so...

MK 11 Headcanons - Future Children
Headcanons for mileena, skarlet and cassie meeting their future kid(who’s a young adult)? specifically that they have a good relationship with their kid and did a good job raising them despite the circumstances.
(C/n) = Child name
I will be using the Past Mileena and not MKX Mileena.
Other Works: Masterlist
_______________________________________________________
_______________________________________________________
Young Mileena:
When (C/n) first met Mileena, you would think Mileena would try to rip their face off, but she was more intrigued than anything. It is not often someone has a similar scent to her. Immediately this intrigue, she assumes (C/n) is the work of Shang Tsung and tries to kill them. Their cool now though.
(C/n) Picked up a few of the Tarkatan Genes and grew sets of claws out of their arms (Think Wolverine). Much like Mileena, (C/n)’s movements are chaotic and near feral. They do serval of the same moves as mileena. i.e Ball Roll.
Elder Gods help whoever has to fight Mileena and her child cus they combine into a fucking blender when they fight together. (C/n) doesn’t each human flesh but only eats meat, so they can bond over that. They are really close now.
Every notice how wolves sleep in piles sometimes...yeah that. Lots of naps with mom now. She’s just following her instincts.
Mileena: Do you smell that?
(C/n): *Sniff* Osh-Tekk Blood Soup *Sniff* 2 Miles East?
Mileena: I shall reach it first!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
(C/n): We don’t have to fight.
Mileena: You smell of the flesh pits.
(C/n): Let me explain!
_______________________________________________________
Skarlet:
Skarlet was surprised that she even had a kid. Between her incessant devotion to Shao Khan and her literal blood lust, having a child seemed like an impossibility.
Unlike their mother, (C/n) is all about restricting abilities. They use their sorcery to disable peoples powers and capitalize on their enemies confusion. (C/n) knows blood magic, but uses it very rarely. After seeing their mom go crazy, it seemed like a bad call.
Mother Skarlet and her past self are very different people. Future Skarlet was a caring mother who was a little distant at times.
Past Skarlet doesn’t like her future kid very much. She thinks (C/n) ‘s refusal to use blood magic is cowardice.
Skarlet: You blood is familiar.
(C/n): Yeah, you gave it to me.
Skarlet: Explain.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
(C/n): Blood magic is dangerous.
Skarlet: Who told you these lies?
(C/n): You did.
_______________________________________________________
Cassie:
She did not realize (C/n) was their kid and mistakes were made. After the “incident,” things were very awkward, but they got over it. Cassie was not surprised by your existence and she knew about all of the time shenanigans going on.
(C/n) is very tech focused. They have suit of armor that is very similar to the Iron Man armor. Instead of being a part of the primary chain of command,  (C/n) is a specialist. Cassie makes fun of (C/n)’s armor, but thinks it’s really cool.
The Incident: (Comment the reference)
Cassie: Just throwing this out there, but you are really cute.
(C/n): Uh, well ya know, my mom always said I was a cute kid.
Cassie: Oh a momma's boy huh? I'll be your mommy.

A wholesome MK11 headcanon to start off your weekend.
Kitana Kahn loves chocolate, but not for the reason you might think.
The historical Aztecs considered chocolate a divine gift, and Outworld's Osh-Tekk love it as well. Kotal shared it with his intended queen, and Jade in turn introduced it to Kitana. It's one of Kitana's favorite memories, and she considers it a bit of Jade's presence she can take wherever she goes.
She prefers drinking chocolate over other kinds, and takes it at "this could easily knock out a horse" percent cocoa.

I like to imagine most Outworlders don't speak English if we were being realistic with workdbuilding. The royal family and their advisors would probably interact with Earthrealm officials during visits but regular Outwrolders probably wouldn't.
The only reason they speak English is for our convenience but realistically most probably shouldn't and it'd be funny if the language barrier popped up at times.
Like I imagine Quan Chi didn't speak English initially so he didn't register Titan Shang was talking to him when he was doing his job in the mines. Like Titan Shang thinks Quan Chi is ignoring him...when in reality Quan Chi simply doesn't register he's talking to him at all.
That is exactly my thought - worldbuilding wise, common Outworlders shouldn’t speak English or any other Earthrealm’s dialects, as they do not have a constant contact with totally foreign cultures from Liu Kang’s realm. I don’t think we ever heard of any vital trade between Earthrealm and Outworld and the portal between realms isn’t that easily accessible for people to just snuck in, and it is not just about Outworlders being wary of Earthrealmers but also Liu Kang decided to keep existence of other realms in secret from majority of his people. So the contact is limited and let’s not forget that the same as Earthrealm, Outworld is not culturally homogeneous realm either, as there is many different cultures coexisting there, like Edenians, Shokan, Centaurians, Saurian, Osh-Tekk to name few. So learning additional Earthrealm's dialects may be more difficult to some of those people than to others.
It makes sense for the Royal Family, their palace guard (Umgadi), advisors and for some military officers like General Shao and Reiko to learn English and possibly other earthrealm dialects, as such knowledge is vital to diplomacy and state security.
It is understandable that the games use English as common language for simplicity, however
It really is sad how the cultural/language barriers are not exploited as it has such a great potential (the closest things are: Johnny’s references to Alien that Kung Lao misunderstand as Cage calling Tanya a slur and was both offended and confused by the whole thing and Mileena thinking that drone is some kind of magic)
I don’t like the implication in Liu Kang’s timeline that Great Britain again influenced the whole world to the point English is the commonly used language because with that implication comes the question: did some Earthrealmers again suffer under the regime of other countries, be it under colonization or losing their country's independence. I mean, it is Liu Kang’s timeline, why Royal Family don’t speak in his native language as they had the longest contact with the Fire Lord and English is not, logically thinking, Raiden’s native language either?
Let’s just agree I’m very picky about this issue and I would love all the shenanigans coming from characters speaking in different languages and sometimes failing - or on purpose making it difficult to communicate well. Or, as the Lin Kuei faction has the number of native-speakers from different cultures (China, Czech, Botswana), they could utilize other languages as their “secret dialect”. Like Lin Kuei brothers waiting for Liu Kang, instead of speaking English between themselves, they could talk in Tomas’ native language because the chance Kung Lao, Raiden or Liu Kang’s servants would understand Czech is slimmer than them understanding English.
I’m seriously crying over the untapped language potential Mortal Kombat has for years.
As for Titan Shang Tsung, I’m gonna trust he was smarter than using English, when Quan Chi was born in mines and spent his whole life there. The mortal Shang Tsung consuming souls for ages most likely knew and could fluently use a vast number of dialects, so I imagine Titan Shang Tsung would figure out pretty quickly that no one in mines used earthrealm language and talked to Quan Chi in a way he could perfectly understand him, especially since “Damashi” needed Quan Chi’s trust to process the great plan of his.

In Theory, if Other Mortal Kombat Characters Have Children
Kitana and Liu Kang’s would be…
50% Edenian
50% Earthrealmer
Mileena and Baraka’s would be… (referring to a timeline in which Tarkatans are still a distinct race rather than mutated Edenians)
75% Tarkatan
25% Edenian
Jade and Kotal’s would be…
50% Edenian
50% Osh-Tekk
Sheeva and Goro’s would be…
100% Shokan
Jacqui and Takeda’s would be…
100% Earthrealmer
Skarlet and Erron Black’s would be…
50% Outworlder
50% Earthrealmer
OR Skarlet and Reiko’s would be
100% Outworlder
OR EVEN Skarlet and Rain’s would be…
50% Outworlder
25% Edenian
25% God
Ashrah and Reptile (Syzoth) might not be possible, but in case it is, that would be…
50% Demon
50% Zaterran
I don’t think any individuals in the Mortal Kombat universe have ever been born to two mortal parents from different realms, so many of these should be interesting. The closest we have are Rain, Taven, and Daegon who are all 50% Edenian and 50% god.

synopsis: even a thief as cunning as jela can't escape the punishment of her crimes delivered by outworld's kahn, the sun god, kotal.
pairing: kotal kahn (mk11) x jela (black!fem!oc)
warnings: 18+ only, nsfw, drama, smut, slight reluctance, male dominance, oral (m receiving), and unprotected intercourse
word count: ~4,100
Tumblr media
The sun had finally disappeared, leaving behind a pitch-black sky and no stars. Outworld was a dangerous place at any time, but nightfall felt especially cold and cruel. Yet it didn't put fear in Jela's heart. She was only concerned with putting food in her stomach.
She'd lay in wait most of the afternoon, hiding herself in the forest that outlined the Osh-Tekk lands. There were a couple of fields dedicated to agriculture and earlier she watched the farmers and gardeners tend to their cattle, fruits, and vegetables. Jela was envious of their bountiful crop. She hadn't seen that much food in weeks.
Her home of Edenia was shrinking in people and resources by the day as other territories stole what little they had to provide for their own. Jela wasn't sure if the emperor of Outworld, and native to Osh-Tekk, knew of her people's turmoil, but she figured it wouldn't hurt their harvest to take a little back to Edenia.
She just had to be careful. The Osh-Tekk people were a fierce kind and the sunlight only fueled their strength and ferocity. Jela could protect herself but even she didn't dare step foot onto their land during the day. Now that it was night, she knew the people were slightly weakened, and she could shield herself in the darkness to grab what she could and escape back home with no one the wiser...
She crouched behind the wide trunk of a tree and observed the garden a final time before she sprang onto her feet and crossed the soil. She dropped low again to cover herself behind the tall stalks of corn just in case there were any lingering eyes around. Once she deemed it safe, she quietly but quickly snatched a few husks of corn and shoved them into the empty cloth sack around her waist. Jela peeked her head around and dashed across the field to the tomatoes. As she plucked a few from their stems and dropped them into her sack, she was beginning to think this was too easy. Surely with such a full harvest in a starving Outworld, the Osh-Tekk people would expect intruders. Yet as Jela moved onto another patch of vegetables, filling her hands with potatoes, she realized her sack was full and she could leave with no disruptions.
As Jela crouched low and dashed back through the tomatoes, her long, dark hair whipping her shoulders with the wind tunneling through it, she suddenly heard rustling behind her. Her heart thudded hard in her chest and she didn't wait to find out if it was an animal or a guard. Yet when she heard a deep voice shout, "Stop in the name of Kotal Kahn!" Jela broke into a full sprint. She reached the edge of the garden when she heard deafening, vicious growls close behind her. She turned to see two impossibly large, black jaguars on her heels and she screamed as one pounced onto her. Its heavy body crushed her to the ground and Jela yelped in horror as it flashed its teeth and roared in her face. The other jaguar circled them before she watched it morph into a tall, nude man with teal-painted skin.
"You will come with us," he said, staring down at her pinned below the jaguar. Jela shakily nodded her head. The animal on top of her then morphed into a man with teal-stained skin, as well. Jela shivered, both frightened and amazed to see them transform right before her eyes. She knew the Osh-Tekk people were shapeshifters, but she thought the ability was brought on by the power of the sun.
One of the men yanked her up to her feet by her underarm and the other took hold of her shoulder as they forced her to walk with them towards the stone palace just beyond the garden. Jela struggled in their clutches, hoping to break free, but it was futile. If they were still this strong at nightfall, she was in trouble.
"Please let me go!" she cried. They didn't respond to her. Jela felt helpless as they dragged her into the tall, golden temple. They passed by more guards on their post at the entrance and Jela realized it would be nearly impossible to escape from the inside. She cried out again but the men did nothing but lead her deeper into the palace and down a wide hallway lined with fire torches on the mountainous walls. They reached the end and Jela saw two double doors with golden adornments, like the jaguar head that separated down the middle as the guards at the threshold pulled them open.
The sanctuary was grand and furnished with more fire torches and glistening gold decor, the most eye-catching being the giant throne that sat in the center of the room. A man nearly as large as the throne sat upon it and Jela was in awe to see Kotal Kahn, the emperor of Outworld, up close. She always believed him to be a lovely man but she'd only seen him from a distance at parades or the Kahn's arena where he watched over the people of Outworld, his glowing blue eyes thoughtful. Yet now he cast his harsh glare down onto Jela, making her feel small and scared.
She took in his demeanor as he graced his throne. His rippling muscles were tinged with the color teal like the rest of his people, yet his broad chest, abs, and legs were wrapped in golden tattoos like sacred armor. His head carried a golden helmet that sprouted blue feathers, and he wore nothing else besides a belt made of bones that held his kilt on his waist, the short cloth falling between his parted burly legs. Even as Kotal glowered at her, Jela felt humbled by his magnificence. Yet she could feel his vehemence radiating from where she stood and her heart pounded hard in her chest.
The men bowed in his presence and forced her to do the same. "We caught her stealing from the garden, my lord," one of them said. "What is your judgment?"
"Let me free!" Jela barked and jerked in their firm grasps.
"The only freedom for you beyond this room is death," Kotal's heavy voice boomed. It struck fear through her body. "We do not take kindly to thieves pilfering our land."
"There are thieves who steal from my people constantly," Jela blurted through her teeth. "Edenia is dying. I only wanted to take enough to survive."
"I am aware of the plight Edenians face," Kotal stated. "I am taking action to put it to an end. Yet this does not excuse your crimes."
Jela's mouth dropped in shock. She always believed that Kotal was a fair ruler with empathy for his people. When he defeated the tyrant Shao Kahn to become emperor, it was a revolutionary moment for Outworld. But as she stood face-to-face with him in the aftermath of her struggles, she felt fooled.
"I am hungry," Jela pleaded with a snarl. "I thought you were the compassionate Kahn, unlike the last."
"I show compassion where it is warranted," the emperor replied sternly. He then studied her with a flit of his luminous eyes that flashed over her slender body barely covered by her sleeveless, lavender silk dress that fell mid-thigh, and her brown skin that faintly glimmered with sweat and dirt. Jela felt unusually hot under Kotal's eye and wriggled uncomfortably in the men's arms.
"Release her," he demanded. "I will administer her judgment myself."
"As you wish, my lord," the men said and Kotal nodded in thanks. They bowed to him once more, dropped Jela to the floor, snatching away her sack and gathering the food that spilled from it, and exited the sanctuary. Jela rolled onto her knees and rubbed her elbow that stung from the blow to the ground. As she did it, her eyes wandered to Kotal as he scrutinized her.
"What are you going to do with me?" she said, her voice thick with angry tears. "You shouldn't punish me for starving."
"Leniency only leads to greater transgressions," Kotal expressed.
"Are you going to kill me?" she asked, disbelief laced in her quiet tone.
Kotal didn't respond right away but continued to watch her with what Jela assumed was disdain. His full lips were a scowl on his handsome yet stoic face and Jela worried he would rip her heart out right then.
"Come to me," he said instead. When she didn't move, his thunderous voice filled the room as he exclaimed, "At once!"
Jela jumped to her feet and crossed the sanctuary until her toes in her sandals touched the stairs that led to his throne. She hesitated to take another step before Kotal commanded, "Come."
She climbed the steps and trembled once as she stood mere inches away from the emperor of Outworld. No one got this close to him unless they were members of his entourage or seconds away from death. Jela kept her head down, her eyes on the ground before she slowly raised them to meet his as she whispered, "If you're going to kill me, at least do so quickly. Under your rule, my people and I have suffered enough."
Kotal's eyes slightly slanted at her words, his lips tugging once with a smirk that Jela wasn't certain came from him being irritated or impressed with her boldness. He spoke clearly and boldly himself, a tone that indicated neither as he said, "On your knees."
For a split second, she considered fleeing from his sanctuary, yet the guards beyond the door would surely snatch her before she got far, if not Kotal first with his large hands placed on the armrests of his throne. Instead, she reluctantly obeyed the emperor as she sank to the floor at his feet. Jela realized she was essentially between his legs as she faced his lap. She noticed a thick imprint growing behind his kilt and her body responded against her will. Scorn then intrigue sent a warmth between her legs and she took a shaky breath as she glanced up at Kotal. She felt that strange warmth surge her through again as he looked down at her with a look that she now realized was eros.
Kotal silently moved his hand to his lap and pulled his kilt aside to reveal his length protruding from a thick tuft of black hair. It was the only part of him that wasn't painted teal, but rather his length was a tanned, light brown color with taut balls that looked almost bronze. It hung over the edge of his throne and curved to the right, its wide head seeping a thick, clear fluid. Jela felt betrayed by her body once more as the mere sight of the emperor's formidable flesh made her moist beneath her dress. She was stunned she could feel even a slither of arousal when her life hung in the balance.
"You dared to test a god," Kotal bellowed, his brawny voice sounding almost sultry, "and you will atone for your crimes."
"How?" Jela murmured but she knew the answer was in front of her, long, hard, and twitching every few seconds.
"You claimed to be famished. You will fill your stomach with my seed," Kotal responded. He took hold of his length and lifted it to her lips. "Open your mouth and feast from me."
Jela felt herself part her lips before she fully accepted her fate—a fate that she despised sounded oddly delectable. She felt his smooth, warm flesh slide into her mouth and tasted his clear, salty fluid on her tongue. She was now wet despite herself, her thighs sticky where it dripped just so, horrified that she liked the feeling of him filling her mouth. Her jaw ached a little as she tried to fit all of him, but she didn't stop moving her head up and down to adjust. She caught his glare that had softened when his lips let out a hushed moan as she sucked on him. She hoped it would be enough to spare her life.
"Take more of me," Kotal commanded as he shoved his length into her mouth. She gagged as it prodded the opening of her throat. Her eyes flashed with a sting of discomfort as he tried to push his flesh, hard as a rod, into her throat again.
"Yield," he declared to her in a stern voice yet waited for her to take a breath. "Yield to me."
Jela tried to do as she was told. She wasn't a woman who often took such lengths to satisfy a man as she spent most of her sensual activity alone, such as the life of an Edenian woman too occupied with caring for her village before herself. Yet she found herself curious, stimulated, to suck in a deep huff before she let him thrust himself down her throat. It squeezed around him and made tears spring to her eyes but she didn't dare pull away as Kotal cradled her face in his large, calloused hands and slowly pumped himself in and out of her throat.
The more he plunged his thick length into her mouth and down her throat, the more confused Jela felt by her rush of emotions. She was pacified and seduced by the feel and taste of him, yet frightened by his power and what he would do once he was finished with her. Jela didn't plan to be caught by the emperor of Outworld and tasked with servicing him as her punishment...but she was beginning to find it an unexpected pleasure. Even as she gagged on him.
"Breathe," Kotal demanded as he grabbed a handful of her silken hair and pried her off his flesh. Jela gasped for air and slightly choked on her own saliva from drooling on the emperor. He watched her catch her breath before beckoning her to let him in again with the tip of his flesh on her lips. She steadied herself on her hands and knees before opening wide and suckling him back into her mouth. Kotal groaned huskily as her tongue washed over his veiny, wide shaft, and he held her by her hair that he'd wrapped around his mighty fist to control her pace as she tried to swallow him again.
Jela received no warning that Kotal was about to orgasm other than his length growing harder and throbbing in the confines of her throat before she felt the warm, thick ropes of his pleasure coat it and slide down into her stomach. Her eyes rolled in her head from the unanticipated savor she enjoyed as he held her in place and grunted with each spasm that sent his seed overflowing into her.
When he finally yanked her head back, his length still hard and weeping with a string of white fluid after he slipped out of her throat, Kotal breathed almost as heavily as Jela as she struggled to reclaim air in her lungs. That was less of a concern to her as she laid bewildered eyes on him. She had been poisoned with lust, yearning to worship him a little longer...yet she was still wary of him, her mind racing with thoughts of what could be his next plan of action. Kotal reached a hand out to her and she flinched, but his touch was strangely gentle.
"Your sacrifice honors me," Kotal spoke as he cupped her chin in his hand and looked her in the eyes with his glorious, blue gaze. "Your atonement is accepted. You may leave in peace."
"You're letting me go?" Jela asked incredulously, a blush upon her cheek where his thumb caressed.
"Yes," Kotal replied softly. She was hesitant to leave his sanctuary for a couple of reasons, one being she worried it could be a cruel trick. He seemed to sense her distress and added just as softly, "If you wish, my guards can usher you to Edenia to ensure your safe travels."
Jela glanced up at him with her disbelief...and with her sudden need. She wondered if he could see it in her eyes. She wasn't ready to exit his palace. Her body reeled from him and his flavor, her essence wet and longing between her legs. She could feel his seed sitting in her stomach but she wanted...more. "I'm still hungry," she mumbled in the same tone as him. Kotal's eyes widened at her admission.
"Are you not yet content?" he inquired curiously with the raise of his thick eyebrow.
"No, my lord," she purred. She carefully reached up and wrapped her fingers around his massive, curved flesh. The emperor sighed with pleasure as she slowly stroked him with both her hands, watching him pull his bottom lip between his teeth.
"You wish to prolong my mercy..." Kotal breathed and Jela nodded once, bringing her lips to his length and kissing its head.
"Rise," he said and she got on her feet to stand between his thighs. She was slightly confused as she thought the emperor would make her taste his seed again but instead, he lifted her dress until she was forced to raise her arms and let him discard it to his throne steps. Jela suddenly felt demure with Kotal's eyes on her bare skin, her small breasts with her dark brown nipples peaked and her essence slick with her arousal on display as it ran down her inner thighs. She gasped when he slid two thick fingers between them, his fingertips grazing past her bundle of nerves before he gently worked his fingers between her soft, wet folds and caressed them a few times. Jela couldn't help the desperate moan that escaped her as Kotal slowly nudged his fingers inside her, her body almost falling over onto his lap when the pads of his fingertips tapped gently on a tender spot she hadn't catered to in far too long.
She caught herself with her hands shooting out to grip his armrests, careful not to touch him and overstep her tentative place even as he touched her and made her tremble. When Kotal pulled them away, she gasped with need and then worried that perhaps she violated the rules of his judgment by taking such pleasure in his touch. Yet he only observed his fingers and knuckles glistening with her desire and said, "Your lust is abundant."
"Yes, my lord," she whispered as she straightened up.
"As is mine," he voiced and took hold of his hard length. He used her fluid to lubricate himself and grabbed Jela by the hips, pulling her on top of him. She nearly swooned from his strength as he positioned her to straddle him before he reached behind her and guided himself to her waiting wet essence. When she felt his thick head prod her little opening and push inside, Jela let out another sharp moan that made her squeeze her eyes shut.
She'd only just gotten used to him filling her mouth, and feeling him stretch her as he wedged himself deeper made her feel like a reborn virgin. Her pain, pleasure, and angst married and birthed a new sensation within her, one that had her whining and clinging onto the emperor with her nails dug into the skin of his strong shoulders, and her face buried in the crook of his neck. No man had ever elicited this reaction from her, but Jela knew that Kotal was not merely a man but a literal sun god. It was only when he finally fit as much of his length as he could that she stopped whimpering and heaved a sigh of relief and rapture. She felt fulfilled with him inside her, nestled to her every supple spot, especially the one his fingers stroked just before, and when he began to thrust, she knew she would soon succumb to climax.
Jela's head fell back and she held onto his shoulders as he grasped her hips and drove himself in and out. She heard Kotal's low moans in her ear as her essence gripped him, and she moaned back as he dragged himself in and out, pushing on her most sacred spot that glowed from the attention. Whether or not it was his intention, his next push overpowered Jela with an orgasm so intense that her body felt hot to touch, leaving her feeling feverish and luscious. She sobbed and shook with each throb of her essence and tried her hardest not to scream her pleasure for the guards on the other side of the door to hear, something Kotal would not allow as he slipped a hand around her mouth to silence her.
When she came down, he let her mouth free as she met Kotal's soft eyes with her dreamy gaze and their lips briefly brushed together. It made her shiver as he pulled her into a heady kiss with his hand still on her jaw. Jela was certain she wasn't supposed to relish in her judgment yet she still pulsed in the afterglow of her orgasm with every thrust of his shaft. From the look on his beautiful face and his shallow grunts, Jela could tell Kotal was relishing in her, as well. A few moments later, he abruptly pulled out of her, plucked her from his lap, and gently placed her on the floor in front of him. She watched him grasp in his hand his curved, hard length shining with her wet to stroke before pressing it to her lips.
"Drink from me," he demanded urgently and Jela wasted no time opening her mouth and letting him shove himself into it. Kotal groaned as her lips tightened around his swollen shaft and pumped his white, warm satisfaction into her. She felt her mouth swiftly fill up with his seed and she drank, closing her eyes and delighting in the taste of him. Guilt tried to swell within her for her newfound excitement being the emperor's whore, but it was quickly drowned out by another flood of his milk and her moans as she devoured it.
Kotal fondled her head with his hand as if to commend her before he slid his shaft from between her lips. Jela coughed a little as she swallowed the last drops of him and glanced up at him as she licked her lips. He watched her with his glowing eyes that made her quiver in a new, delicious way.
"I imagine your stomach is now content," Kotal stated as a cunning smirk touched his lips. Jela nodded wearily with a small smile. She sat at his feet for a moment longer, uncertain to move without his permission. "Or is there more room?" he asked.
"I suppose I shouldn't be greedy," she dared to tease and heard the emperor lightly chuckle.
"You wish to stay, then?" Kotal asked as she remained on her knees. If she had the energy to climb back on top of him and stuff herself with him again, she would stay.
"I..I wish to be invited back in the future," Jela confessed in a tiny voice. "Not as your captive...but as your mistress."
The emperor looked thoughtful before he said, "Such a peculiar request. Yet...I would like to see you in my bed-chamber, as well."
Kotal offered his hand to her and hauled her onto her feet. He then stood up and loomed over Jela like the god of man that he was. She felt delicate in his strong hands as he held her by her waist and hunched over to reach his lips to hers, his kiss soft yet overwhelming her senses lust once more. She placed her hands on his broad chest to balance herself and leaned into him and his muscled warmth. When his kiss ended, she felt interrupted from her arousal already reawakening. She pawed at him and his kilt, her fingers brushing along his shaft that hung behind it.
"Reserve your ardor for when we meet another time in the very near future..." Kotal spoke in a low voice with a seductive grin and Jela subtly grinned back.
He then arranged for her departure, his guards escorting her from his palace and leading her to a horse-drawn carriage. Jela was flattered by Kotal's chivalry to a thief like her, and grateful she didn't have to tread the five miles back from whence she came. As a guard held open the door and she stepped inside the carriage, she noticed a oversized woven basket taking up most of the seat. When she flung back the lid, she found it was filled with tomatoes, potatoes, corn, fruit, and parcels that Jela recognized as meat. It would feed her village for the next month at least. Her face broke into a smile and she silently thanked Kotal for sending her home with a new appreciation for the emperor of Outworld.

Sooooo Mr. Chi here has this gear [called "Necromancer"] that is very reminiscent of Kotal Kahn, even down to the blue paint [the glowy bits change colors with palettes].
I think there's a few different interpretations to be had [maybe Quan's just stealing his style??] but the possibility of Quan Chi being Osh-Tekk has me very 👀👀👀 With his natural skin color he does look similar to pre-Kahn Kotal.
On the other hand.... if Liu Kang destined an Osh-Tekk, who get very weak without sunlight, to live and die 'in the mines' it would be the worst and funniest thing ever

Any updates for chapter 13? ( Im so excited for it AAAAAA)
Tumblr media
And on going, I have 2 major scenes in mind so uhhh we'll see where we land? Maybe 9k ???
heres a tiny tidbit for your wait!
“The Osh-Tekks have an innate connection with the sun.” Liu Kang explained, his hand gesturing to the sun which shone in the sky. “Ko’atal in particular had a stronger and closer connection with it, which allowed him to fight so valiantly.” He regarded his champion with a smile. “It is exceptional that you took him down.”
“Do you think he would be open to acting?” Johnny asked, looking towards where Kotal had left. Upon seeing all the looks sent his way, he held his hands up. “Hey! I’m just saying this movie I was working on would kill to have someone like him! I personally think I would be doing him a favor.” He huffed, crossing his arms.
“You could start by doing us favors, Cage.” Kenshi piped in, his own arms crossing as he sent a glare towards the actor. “For example, by giving me Sento.” This now prompted a little bickering between the two men. While amusing, you couldn’t help but to let out a small sigh at the antics. Your eyes drifted away from the duo, before they landed on a figure heading your way. You perked up at the sight.
“Ready for your tour?” Rain inquired, a small smile on his lips as he stopped near you. You nodded enthusiastically, the whole tour plan having slipped your mind due to the dream earlier. At least you had something exciting to get your mind off of that.
“Tour?” Kung Lao piped up. You turned your head to look at the man. He looked between you and Rain, eyebrows raised. It looked like he was trying to scrutinize what was going on, his face changing slightly as he processed it all.

All Confirmed Mk Timelines. Part 4
Tumblr media
Since NRS has confirmed the multiverse I decided to make a long list of existing timelines using all non canonical endings. Plus extra timelines I’ve thrown in for fun.
Two important notes: Offshoots exist and timelines are given codes similar to DC’s worlds.
Chapter 4: Johnny Cage
#JC1 (Mk Ending and Mk2 Ending) Johnny Cage becomes the Champion of MK and makes a mk cinematic universe. (Similar to what he does in his own mk1 ending) Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.
#JC2 (Mk3 Ending) Johnny Cage after being restore back to life goes on a one way suicide mission to kill Shao Kahn and saves the world. But at the cost of his mortal body. After defeating the Emperor Johnny Cage returns to the heavens. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.
#JC3 (Deadly Alliance Ending) Johnny Cage defeats Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in the events of deadly alliance and makes a movie out of it.
#GJC1 (God Johnny Cage) (Armageddon Ending) After defeating Blaze Johnny Cage becomes a God and with the help of the Shaolin masters he becomes enlightened. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.
#JC5 (Mk9 Ending) After defeating Shao Kahn Johnny Cage experienced a surge of uncontrollable green power. Raiden sends Johnny Cage to Orderrealm where he learns to  harness his powers. Unfortunately he ends up under the influence of Orderrelam and becomes a Champion for the Empress. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.
#JC6 (Mkx Ending) Johnny Cage heads to Shang Tsung’s abandoned island and discovers the secrets to Edenian longevity. Curiosity and a spark of ambition gets the better of him.
#TJC (Titan Johnny Cage) (Mk11 Ending) After defeating Kronika Johnny Cage becomes the Keeper of Time. Johnny resets history to normal NRS trilogy but with Sonya blade not meeting an early grave. May or may not be an older or younger cage. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.
#JC7 (Mk1 final chapter) Johnny Cage is a member of the special forces. How this happens is up to debate and may result in offshoots.
#TJC1 (Tarket Johnny Cage) Shang Tsung makes a Johnny Cage clone with Tarket features.
#TJC2 (Tarket Johnny Cage) Johnny in mk1 gets inflicted with Tarket disease and turns into a monster. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.
#BDJC1 (Black Dragon Johnny Cage) To get back at Sonya Kano kidnaps Johnny and brainwashes him into Black Dragon (Mk11 kombat leagues) Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist including ones where Johnny joins the BD willingly.
#GJC2 (God Johnny Cage) Raiden makes Johnny Cage alongside three other champions into his successors. (Raiden’s Mk9 ending)
#LkJC1 (Lin Kuei Johnny Cage) Kuai Liang offers to train Johnny in the arts of the Lin Kuei.
#RJC1 (Revenant Johnny Cage) Raiden is unable to stop the ritual and Johnny dies from his wounds and is reborn as a revenant. (Mk11 kombat leagues) Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist, including timelines where Johnny becomes a revenant under different circumstances.
#OWJC1 (Outworld Johnny Cage) Johnny Cage is born in Outworld and he becomes a well respected general with a sense of humor. He is a neutral character from his timeline and he replaces Reiko.
#OTE1 (Osh-Tekk Empire) Johnny Cage comes from a timeline where Kotal overthrew Shao Kahn eons ago but inherited his lust for conquest. Having conquered earthrealm long ago Johnny is born an Osh-Tekk and is one of Outworld’s champions. He wears sunglasses to make himself look cool. (mk11 kombat league)

Skarlet should've been an original villain for the Kombat Kids.
What I mean by that is she should've been around the kombat kids' age. Also, I don't like the fact she's another product of Shao Kahn (genetic experiment or not). I'm tired of every villain being an underling to Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, or Quan Chi. If they want other antagonists to be taken as seriously as those three they need to be treated as such.
One thing the kombat kids lack is a villain their age. Erron is 200, give or take. Ferra is obviously younger than them and Torr is older. D'Vorah is... D'Vorah. Kotal is probably around Jade's age plus the timeskip. Having Skarlet closer in age to them would add a layer of relatability and a good gauge for their strength.
If I were to personally rewrite her I would make her be (like in the MK11 retcon) a street urchin but taken in by Kotal instead of Shao. He taught her blood magic, which the Osh-Tekk practice, and have her go rouge for one reason or another (I'd have to figure it out, will probably reblog if I ever do) thus leading to antagonism toward Earthrealm and the kombat kids.

Let me test you two on your knowledge of history by asking this one question: Do you remember who "Unsinkable Sam" was?
"The cat who survived several ship wrecks? Once, I had Fujin fooled in believing that cat was an Osh-Tekk warrior, trapped within their wild shape and banished to Earthrealm to live and die as a cat. Hence, why the cat survived through such turmoil."

That moment when your current contract has stabbed the last three clients in the back and you start thinking maybe you should give that Osh-Tekk guy a call to see how his campaign to be Kahn is going before this ship hits a special forces shaped iceberg.

You know...
If MK11 wanted to focus on Kitana, it could have followed the course of Kitana, upon learning the truth of her parentage, struggle to acknowledge her active participation in horrible things, including and especially those inflicted upon her own people. Her character arc would involve her galvanizing Edenians into demanding the realm stolen from them and prying their homeland out of her stepfather's hands. It would explore Edenians as a conquered and colonized people, how Edenia was a matriarchy, Sindel's plight, and the lives of Edenian women under Shao Kahn's thumb. At least one ending has her returning to Edenia with her mother and Jade, ready to start a new life with Liu Kang.
But no, easier to make Sindel cartoonishly evil and every Edenian into a soulless glitter person except, of course, for the two who abandon their identities, with Jade becoming queen of the Osh-Tekk if Kotal keeps his head. Doesn't that sound suspicious, just a little??
Even from a narrative viewpoint it's crappy story telling. An identity crisis is meaningless if one option is indefensible. Like, is fresh chocolate chip cookies vs. fresh dog shit really a meaningful dilemma?

Got another request for ya! :)
Can I please request headcanons for Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kotal Kahn, and Johnny Cage reacting to their female S/O having a stroke and helping her through the recovery?
mmmhmmm this one is gonna be angsty! >:)
MK Lads React To Fem!S/O Having A Stroke
TW: stroke, near death, medical complications
Tumblr media
Liu Kang
He can't believe this has happened to you, all along he was so concerned about the danger of kombat that he didn't consider all the other ways someone can be hurt
As your boyfriend, he was given a pamphlet on all the psychological impacts of a stroke and how these often affect relationships
He could hardly read the pamphlet through his tears. You might never be the same again, but he will help you for as long as you need.
There's a lot of preparing your food so its easier to swallow and helping you change if you struggle to hold your bladder after the stroke
Tumblr media
Kung Lao
What he feels worst about is that he didn't see the signs, he initially laughed at your half-drooped face and slurred speech until someone else called for help
He's completely in shock for most of your treatment, barely able to register what was happening to you and how it will affect the rest of your lives
When the doctors try and teach him how to care for you after being discharged, he quickly becomes overwhelmed. He thought the whole point of a hospital was to make you better and now he learns that you might never be back to normal and it's all his fault for not realizing something was wrong
His anxiety and guilt don't make him the best carer, all he wants is for you to be better and that doesn't seem to be happening. He relies on a lot of emotional support from others as you aren't well enough to console him yourself, and tries to focus on helping you relearn complex physical tasks before anything else
Tumblr media
Kotal Kahn
As an Osh-Tekk, Kotal is unfamiliar with mortal anatomy but knows enough to realize when something is wrong
Thankfully, because of his blood magik, he quickly notices the blood clot in your brain, which he breaks down immediately. This means that the initial damage is minimised but his servants still advise him to seek help in Earthrealmer medicine
Because you were lucky enough to be with a blood sorcerer at the time, there was minimal blood loss to the affected parts of your brain, but you are still recommended to remain in care for further checks
Ultimately, you'd be fine, but Kotal ensures you stay on bed rest for some time while researching into ways of preventing future strokes
Tumblr media
Johnny Cage
Johnny saw the signs immediately. His father died of a stroke when he was young and he's never forgotten what to look out for. Johnny kept a stoney, emotionless face while waiting for you in the hospital lobby, paying no attention to the paparazzi who were taking photos of him from the bushes
He only breaks when he's allowed to go in and visit you, you seem so small and so weak in the bed with all those cables and machines sticking out of you
Johnny is aware of his unhealthy lifestyle, all the drinking and smoking, and he wonders if it's his fault that this happened to you. He immediately goes cold turkey on all of that, to help inspire you to a healthier lifestyle that will avoid more strokes in the future
He feels awful after a few days of being sober and dear God he's craving nicotine, but none of it compares to what you have to go through
