NOOOOO... Now he's convinced that Ranboo was also just scared of him from the start and saying things out of fear... And the fact that with cc!Ranboo's comments about c!Ranboo being a people pleaser right after that one time he said Wilbur was a pretty alright person... The fact that c!Wilbur could be right...

He can't expect forgiveness to be his end goal, but that has never been his end goal, and this is Phil watching crimeboys' trouble through a myopic lens again. He sees it as so surface level, just like when he told Tommy to be ashamed of having hesitated. Being forgiven isn't Wilbur's end goal, it's being redeemed. His end goal is to become in the general consensus and most of all in his own mind, "a pretty alright guy". Because he hasn't stopped seeing himself as a villain, because to him being better now is "like method acting". His end goal is for people to not look at him like he's crazy and going to cause damage at any moment, to stop feeling like he's in social limbo and like every interaction with him is powered by fear. Is why he's so quick to accept that Tubbo won't forgive him and is more than willing to work to earn back that trust

HE'S TRYING!! HE'S FUCKING TRYING AND HE DOESN'T FEEL LIKE HE CAN DO ENOUGH!! AND THAT'S TOO MUCH BECAUSE IF HE'S JUST SUPPOSED TO "LET IT GO", THEN HE'S DOOMED TO ETERNAL SOCIAL LIMBO!!

He still stands on him doing the right thing in Pogtopia and the war. He still stands by Ghostbur's words of Phil doing something good by killing him. I need this to be touched upon in detail like I need air to live, you don't understand, I need Wilbur to realize his father killing him is fucked up and regarding his own suicide as a good thing isn't right-

Hi I'm Kitsu and I'm never letting Techno get away with being placed as the righteous wronged one in Pogtopia when he was told time and time again that they wanted to remake L'manburg and when he was himself the one to posit himself as "only on the side of violence" with the pit. Where Wilbur could rationalize trusting Techno because he knew Techno was predictable: If there was violence, then Techno would fight. Techno could've said no, but Techno only said "violence is the only universal language". This man wasn't used in Pogtopia

But also, this is Wilbur and he blames himself for everything, rationalizing things to be his fault always and this is Techno who can't bare the idea of being even slightly morally wrong, so it's completely in character ksjslalsl

"I wanted to blow it all up with you all inside" - This is red festival mood Wilbur talking. And we know outside of his rationalizing that this is false. Biggest case in point: That one time where he said loud and clear that he wanted to "end it" in the button room, full of TNT, but didn't, because he couldn't bare the idea of hurting Tommy and Quackity in the process. He only wanted to end himself and his creation, but despite his harshest words, this man could never bare to hurt his friends. He's words over weapons to the core

He needs people to know that he's trying to be better. That he isn't lost, crazy and evil. That's what he's always wanted

RAW lateblog, all in one place so i don’t post like 4500 posts lol aka: in which i’m too tired to use capital letters consistently and overuse question marks while i ramble about how i prefer NXT without specifically mentioning NXT :) sorry

since i only caught bits and pieces of last week, that was a really nice ‘here’s what you missed on RAW!’ moment to catch me up. (and nice to finally see Rollins embracing the crossfit jesus thing in a more overtly heel-y).

i wish we could get at least one Murphy/Black match a week. they’re SO good. and the little moments where they end up sitting crosslegged across from each other is *chef’s kiss* in a perfect world it would have been tonight’s main event but i digress.

i actually groaned ‘not again’ when Natalya’s music hit.. it feels like we’ve seen this match w/Charlotte at least 50 times. they’re great, but can’t we get something new???

this 24/7 champ stuff is great, don’t get me wrong, but having them run out during the only women’s match of the night is uh… so dumb if they’re not gonna have one of the women try to take the belt for themselves in the end. it would have been something DIFFERENT for once too..

i’m not even gonna comment on Ryder and Hawkins because it’ll make me mad again to mention how i think they (and Drew) all deserve better than that. *cough*same goes for Rowan*coughs*

LMAO THAT FAKE OUT. i was suspicious the second he needed help into the ring. but the commentators overselling it didn’t help (was that mostly Lawler?? can i just blame this on mostly Lawler??). Randy sold it really well for a bit tho with the speech bit. the people watching it with me don’t usually watch wrestling and they were convinced that it was his retirement announcement until he rocked forward while standing on what was supposed to be his bad knee and my best friend’s wife went “oh fuck off, he’s faking” lol. AJ shoulda known better tho.. you never turn your back on RKO.

i can’t believe i’m gonna say this but i prefer the Lana stuff to whatever is going on with the US title and that’s… frustrating af cos i can’t stand the Lana/Bobby shit.. and isn’t helped by the fact that i have a feeling that the only good thing about the wedding is gonna be Rusev breaking shit up.

there were a few bright spots (Rollins/Owens/JOEJOEJOEJOEJOE, Street Profits, Murphy/Black, Rowan), but i’m struggling to watch week after week with this Lana stuff still going on. without it, it could’ve otherwise been a ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ fine episode.
