Just as his nickname suggest, he only speaks in chimes and bells! Usually Belldrop sings small melodies for himself, but sometimes they can be directed to someone in tone or mood

Similar to a music box, or piano, he's got a range of vocals but not any speech.

i much prefer those work meetings in which i'm taking notes on a bunch of doctors talking about extremely specialized medical things i don't know anything about using 100 acronyms i've never heard of to those work meetings where my boss drones on for an hour about things i understand but find boring. like okay i'm awake i'm awake! and now i have a fun puzzle to solve called looking up all the phonetic spellings i used in my notes and trying to figure out what real-life cancer therapies they presumably correspond to. enrichment in my enclosure.

#i dont think i’ve talked my nonverbal!Diluc hc on here yet #but i keep seeing posts abt disability/chronjcally ill/neurodivergent hcs for genshin characters so here’s one from me #idk i feel like after That Night™️ and being on the run from the Fatui/working with a secret organization #diluc not just learns the ‘value’ of keeping secrets and staying quiet but also internalizes his guilt and trauma of saying smth that could #hurt people #it started with him telling Kaeya that he’s not a Ragnvindr anymore and then is exacerbated by his 3-4 Year Fatui Murder Rampage thru Teyvat #and with all ghat trauma and self-deprecation and paranoia he just. stops talking.#he picks up sign language in Fontaine and still writes but at some point he just stops talking and never speaks again #when he comes back to Mondstadt it was hard to adjust to for both him and the people around him #Kaeya initially assumes that Diluc just refuses to talk to him until he later hears gossip abt how no one has ever heard him speak since he #came back. he goes to Adelinde and/or Elzer abt it and they tell him that they neve even hear Diluc so much as hum or grunt #afterwards everyone changes up real fast— Kaeya and Venti drinking at the bar and seemingly just talking at Diluc but they’re always #observing his reactions and body language even when they’re drunk #Jean tries her best to be patient but she has a hard time reading him bc he’s changed so much in the time he’s been gone #Adelinde & Elzer and the winery staff are the most communicative he’s with— Diluc is far more likely to write with them to communicate #at some point Diluc has a business meeting with some rich dude from Fontaine or smth #Kaeya walks in bc he has an actual important mission thinf to discuss and he sees Diluc and this Fontaine dude and the dude’s wife #moving their hands so fast and with all kinds of gestured and stuff #and it’s the first time Kaeya sees Diluc look so EXPRESSIVE— he’s frowning and raising his eyebrows and mouthing words and all this #and Kaeya just goes ‘what’#turns out the Fontainian dude is deaf and both him and his hearing wife know sign; she helps interpret this to kaeya for the dude and Diluc #and Kaeya is like ‘oh okay’ and goes to the kitchen like ‘i’ll just wait here till yall are finished’#and he sees Adelinde and Elzer there with stoic faces and they just. stand there in quiet for so long.#Kaeya finally says ‘…..so. sign language huh’ and Adelinde and Elzer have the most pained looks on their faces #later that week Diluc finds like everyone around suddenly doing basic signs with him #he later learns that the winery has ordered a shitton of signing books from Fontaine and are trying to learn #+ Kaeya and Jean too with help from Lisa bc like dont you know learning several languages is a requirement for graduation from the Akademiya #soon the use of sign starts spreading in Mondstadt— there might be some small communities where they have their own native sign but it’s not #as standardized nor widely known as it is in Fontaine #this is getting really long so I’ll stop here but yeah. nonverbal Diluc who signs fjskdjs

I love how in the Empty Prayers AU banites just straight up pack things and leave.

I'd thought of giving Gortash a Big Confrontation with his cult and his god, but I've decided it's actually worse if he's just simply left behind. Left on Read. Given the Ultimate Silent Treatment.

He has failed Bane, so he isn't even worth the god's single thought now. Of course he will be punished upon death, but in life the worst punishment he can get is being treated like nothing. Like he isn't even here, like he never existed in the first place.

For goodness knows what reason, there has been an unusually high number of what my boss calls altercations here in the library, so I am getting trained on what to do because I'm not very authoritative and look like a student and am not good with confrontations. Can't be like that. Got to strike--well, maybe not terror into the hearts of students, but definitely let them know we mean business. I've been given a script. Been told to use my "librarian voice." (I'm not sure what that is. Maybe my actual voice but a few octaves deeper and a lot firmer.)

Yikes. Daunting. What I'd like to know now is why all this is happening all of a sudden. Not really something I can ask my boss. But what on earth, student body.

John Levene makes a brief appearance as an unnamed military policeman (a lance corporal, per his stripe) in The Jensen Code (ATV, 1973).

Although shot and transmitted in colour, the series master tapes were wiped and it now exists as black and white copies, barring an incomplete and damaged print of episode six.

a difference i love between hamilton obc recording and the film version is in the schuyler sisters where in the recording its like.. "i've been reading common sense by thomas paine [full stop] so men say that i'm intense or i'm insane"

the one thing that is saving me in the "desperately needs to do an assignment that i cannot care about" department is the fact that i made an arrangement of this piece once. cause im not gonna lie if i had to sit here and analyze alto clef it would ALLLLLLL be over

#i can read alto clef if im actively playing it but sadly analysis is Not That #fuck alto clef and while im at it also fuck all of the other ones like tenor clef etc that are just alto clef but bad at parking. shut the #HELL UP and learn to read ledger lines like a NORMAL PERSON (<- not normal. what flute players do is Not Normal In The Slightest)#(fun fact. flute players read ledger lines so much that by my freshman year of college as a music major i could read a high D (not that #one. an octave Up from the one above the staff.) on sight without having to count ledger lines Despite Never Having Seen That #Note In Practice Before. also Nobody Else really does that as much as flute players because even violinists dont have to compete with the #entire rest of the ensemble being 8 billion other instruments on 8 billion different parts WHILE ALSO BEING THE ONLY INSTRUMENT FOR WHOM #DYNAMICS ARE ACTIVELY REALLY HARD NO MATTER WHAT REGISTER YOURE IN. so because of Flute Gravity (high note = loud. low note = soft)#composers write flutes to be Higher so that they will be Actually Heard and basically thats how you learn to read ledger lines. by counting #ledger lines until you no longer have to count ledger lines. good morning besties i feel like i'm in a movie

#so we're staying at this spa resort for 3 days #and i'm experiencing rich people's behaviour #backstory: my father has a friend who is filthy rich. he made a reservation for easter for his whole family #but the day before leaving they decided they do not want to go after all lmao but he felt bad for cancelling 7 rooms so he called my father #and ask if we want to go in their place. for free ofc #i looked it up and a 3-day stay for our family costs more than i earn in 6 MONTHS. this is literally insane wtf #i have a screen in my room that activates when i come near and it feels very orwell-ish #anyway. rich people...... yesterday i heard a whole backstory of some divorce #because the ladies got drunk during dinner amd talked way too loudly and were way too comfortable....#also rude to the staff #the dinner was served until 9pm but when i went on a walk at 10pm they were all still sitting there and bothering the staff #like do they feel like they own this place or what....#i was supposed to unwind but i'm getting pissed off instead asdhjsfgjs #k.txt #this feels unreal
