I know that in retrospect the time that Harry changed his surname to "Lyman" ended up not being like... such a great thing (since All That Stuff came out about Emily during Go Down Swinging) but like

it actually brings me so much joy to call him Harry Lyman. It makes me grin my face off. Adding that "Harry's Last Name is Lyman" tag is everything to me. He's separating himself from the Osborn legacy. He's trying to find his own identity. He's a dad, he's a failed CFO, he's trying to figure himself out again in his late 20s/early 30s but he's in a place where he actually seems to feel pretty good about himself. And for Harry, that's really cool.

I understand why he dropped the Lyman name and reverted back to Osborn, but the era was nice to me while it lasted.

i'm not gonna mention johnlocked in a closet because i ALWAYS say johnlocked in a closet but how about:

Strawberries & Cigarettes

it is my very first songfic and while i know (and understand!) that it's not everyone's thing i am really proud of it. i like its plot but moreover i like the writing style. it is kinda poetic and full of metaphors and i am a sucker for poetic, metaphorical writing. not many people give it a chance (again i get it) but those who DO have given me amazing feedback so i suppose it is not complete shit :P

i also really like:

how john watson found his heart again (sequel to how john watson lost his heart)

again. very metaphorical writing. i wrote "how john watson lost his heart" when i felt pretty darn shitty (i feel like shit? expect some angst!) and people seemed to like it but then "how john watson found his heart again" is much more positive and sweet. it is longer and i like the writing style in this one even more. it was also one of the first things i posted on here and it means a lot to me that it got so much appreciation <3

After seeing a Mer-Crow, I got the desire to do my dear Hal as a merman for MerMay.

I have other mer-things I’m going to try to do for MerMay, but the likelihood I’ll finish them in time is low.

As an aside, I’d just like to say that finding good refs on abs being scrunched vs finding refs for stretched out is night and day. Stretch: Behold, a lovely bounty. Scronch: *crickets*

Also, Tumblr apparently hates how I do blue scenes or something, because no matter what I do, it uploads just a bit blurry. A much clearer, nicer version of this is on my Twitter, where it uploaded normally.
