Ignoring the real world reasons for Glossaryck’s voice actor changing, I think it would be at the very least really amusing if in-universe his voice changed every single time he “died” or otherwise went MIA for a while.
Like, an example from before Ludo burned up the Book of Spells in current canon would be when the fire happened during Skywynne’s Wand Passing Ceremony that burned up the castle and first Magic Book of Spells. When he came back from that his voice was also different (presumably what it is at the beginning of the show)
In current canon, if magic were to come back and Glossaryck along with it, his voice would be different as well.
When he travels through time I imagine his voice is whatever his voice he currently has (i.e. in Meteora’s Lesson his voice is Keith David and not whatever Glossaryck’s voice actually was back then) instead of reverting back.
I just find it a mighty funny idea that l might play with in my AU

What if the Mewmans from Star vs, instead of being basically humans with some butterfly things and cheek marks, were like a species of butterfly monsters that imitate humans in appearance? Like they look like humans for the most part, but are in fact caterpillars/butterflies?
I know that the Mewmans are basically a magically evolved form of humans, and I’m not sure how these Mewmans would come to imitate humans since they don’t live on Mewni, but it was a thought I just had while thinking about Star vs

I have a genuine question: Why am I still watching this show?
It was fun, I liked the first season, and idk it felt like a cute show. Even though the second season was kinda messy, it wasn't that bad, I mean, I still liked it, but the finale... and this third season... I'm genuinely wondering why I'm still here because I can't seem to find that many good things about this show anymore. Most of it is either bad or uncomfortable or... just sad.
As much as I want to know what happens... this is really getting tiring. I was enjoying making jokes about this before, but now I'm just annoyed.
I don't know. I'll sleep on it.

So as some of you can see, I may have been thinking about Rhombulus (SvtFoE) a lot recently. I will admit, I only decided to check out the show in the middle of the fourth season’s airing, and so my relationship with it is pretty weird. But after seeing his debut episode and the one with Eclipsa’s trial, I formed a bit of an attachment to the crystalhead.
He had a lot of potential as a character and a clearly set up character arc that I was slightly invested in. I like well meaning idiots with hearts of gold, and ever since the reveal with Meteora, it seemed like he was going to be the one with a redemption arc and would, like in his debut episode, learn how to be less judgemental of others and think before he acts.
He would probably be the most accepting of monsters, and feel really guilty about his past mistakes. I was going to love him. And then the show fucked it up and gave Hekapoo a half assed redemption arc instead!
I, pissed about the finale as a whole, purposely forgot about the show, instead using it as a cautionary tale in how not to write a show.
But recently, I was reminded of this disaster through the YouTuber Kitty Monk and their video on Rhombulus. I remembered how they did my boy dirty, and threw away a perfectly good character arc for no reason, and it made me mad all over again.
Look in the comments of that video, and you can see that I’m not the only one who feels that way. Heck, look at a few of the comments on their video on Hekapoo, and some people will be pointing out that the writers probably gave Rhombulus’ arc to Hekapoo.
In those comments, I saw a lot of interesting ideas on all the other things the writers could have done with Rhombulus or how his arc should have gone.
This gave me an idea: why don’t I just rewrite Rhombulus’s arc? I can get a variety of ideas I’ve seen as inspiration, I can just use the show but change some stuff (particularly the direction he goes in Season 4), and I can write whatever feels like it would be the most fun for me to write.
So I’m doing that. In a different post because this one is slightly too long. But don’t worry, I will be working on this and will add links when finished.
Note: I will only be making a few posts on this concept and not a huge thing out of it unless I’m having fun just making some casual stuff. It will not be like my Celestial Garments AU where I make a whole sideblog/series out of it. I might make a more official tag for it though in case I make too much for it. So there’s that. Also, most of my ideas will be written out in a series of bulletpoints rather than completely concrete thing.
Anyways, that’s it for now.
