One of my favorite moments in fiction is when Percy refuses to kill the Ophiotaurus when he finds him even after he was told to do so, he's supposed to gain a lot of power to "save or destroy olympus" if he does. But no, he releases the animal from the nets, calms him, takes to olympus to an aquarium and names them Bessie! I'll always remember that

Mythoscember Day 14 - Ophiotaurus

It's my longhorn ball python baby!

And it's also the drawing I finished during a lockdown but let's not talk about that.

I remember that I didn't just wanna create a regular bull with a regular snake half. I chose the school mascot of the high school I'd just graduated at the time (though a much cooler version of it might I add) and then did a piebald ball python for the snake half because... I'm a sucker for piebalds

I also remember being told by someone that this was creepy which is wild because I literally draw creatures inspired by fears meanwhile this is just a lil guy
