i've been talking abt my voltron playlists and @iveofficiallygonemad asked to hear them and i want to share with anybody who wants!! i know they're not perfect, i'm working on them & trying to make them better. if you have any recommendations for any of them, let me know!! there's like A Lot and i want to give a lil explanation for most of them, so i'm putting them under the cut ^-^

SO first i have my favorite one <3 it's just. all of them. it's the whole team. it's a mess and it's a bunch of different genres because it's them fighting over the aux cord on a road trip. it's them trying to make each other laugh or annoy each other or play something catchy enough it will infect everyone in the vicinity with brain worms.

Hunk: i'm pretty happy with my Hunk playlist! chill vibes. he strikes me as the kind of guy who listens to calm music to try to find his own calm, and that's what i got here :)

Pidge: this is messier and less cohesive than my usual playlist because frankly i think pidge would have a shit taste in music. all over the board. this is a mix of meme songs and 8-bit covers and vocaloid and stuff that i think pidge would genuinely connect with, and i think pidge listens to all their music on shuffle without any regards for genre or mood because they're a gremlin. nobody gives pidge sole control of the aux.

Coran hears 80's music for the first time and loses his mind. He thinks ABBA is humanity's single greatest achievement.

Lance: i have ideas about where I'm going with this but haven't really settled yet. Lance seems like the kind of boy that loves to dance (is that canon? i forgot) so most of these are Bops That Make You Move in some way or another. he likes to present an upbeat face to the world, so there's no angsting in this playlist! we are clinging to the things that make us happy with both hands until our knuckles turn white!

Keith: i'm gonna be honest. i made him a playlist but i honestly don't think he cares about music very much. it's very important to some people! he's just not one of them! i haven't cracked this playlist open in a while but i'm pretty sure it's full of songs that i think he would conceivably train/work out to.

Shiro: this playlist involves the dumbest headcanon i have for shiro that has just not left me alone since i first thought of it. most of the playlist reflects the fact that he had an emo phase in middle school (that one isn't a headcanon, you just have to look at him to know) but BUT there are a few songs on here that are on here because. little known fact. he also went through a Twilight phase that he told nobody about. (keith knows. keith was there.) he has the entire twilight soundtrack memorized. he moved past the story but the music stays forever. he used to daydream about slow dancing to Flightless Bird, American Mouth. the first time Coran mentions that they have to avoid a place because there's a supermassive black hole there, he has to bite his tongue in order to keep a straight face. do NOT ask me why i believe this so wholeheartedly.

Allura's playlist sucks right now. I think it's because in my heart of hearts i know that, were she on earth today, she would go fucking nuts for taylor swift. i have ambivalent feelings for taylor swift. i cannot do allura justice like this. if you see my vision and have recs as to what might actually fit her, PLEASE.

Klance: i haven't done it yet but i'm gonna go through this and sort it to be a sort of progression of their relationship, starting with the more combative Rivalry songs, then slipping into "oh shit oh shit" songs, then maybe ending on the more lighthearted purely romantic songs <3

(i have two songs in a shallura playlist which does not at all encapsulate how much i'm obsessed with them. the tiny cop inside my head is just constantly screaming at me that i'm going to get yelled at for liking shallura. i am going to kill the cop inside my head.)

I've met reader around the first year when I just started to study in the academia, we relied on each other to keep ourselves sane and awake during these years, now even outside of work we hang out quite frequently going to the same spot in sumeru city to play with my cards and order the same food as last time, the loser gets to pay for the food, lets just say that they may or may not have a 5 winning streak, and not because they are good at the game.

About Readers Reputation:

Reader is a individual that demands respect opon first sight and will not hesitate to show it, but outside of their personal workplace they are actually really humorous and a trustworthy companion that’s more than willing to take a bullet for people they trust, come to think of them they are surprisingly rebellious whenever the sages want their way, insisting in treating a situation as any other regardless of ones status, its really entertaining seeing how Reader puts the sages in their plase with no hesitation.

General sumery about your relationship with said character:

Your status in the academia is a simple but a respecteble one, basically you are the second in comand of the Matra organization(operation?idk how its called) you are mainly tasked to deal with paperwork, searching info and data about students that have broke the rules and traked down by Cyno, and more oftentimes than not you have to deal with students that have cheated on their tests/exams or iligal use of caned knowledge

What the fandom thinks/though:

At first when you were announced fans had mixed feeling, the Twitter part of the fandom as they always do, they complained, other casual fans were pleased and didn't mind that much. As for the shipping part of the fandom surprisingly at first Cynder (the ship name between Cyno and reader) was considerd as a rare pair being overshadowed by Cynary and Cynolu. But when voicelines, canon interactions, ect were leaked, the shippers whent WILD. Withing some days the Cynder tag was THRIVING, fanart, fanfiction, canon content👏you👏name👏IT. Yes there are some toxic shippers ESPECIALLY on tik tok were saying that Cynder doesn't work cuz "it ruins their fav ship"🙄 some even claimed it was a "proship" 😃, but honey ignore them, they don't know whats good.Jokes on everyone cuz in later events it was extremely hinted that it was canon also lets not forget about the study dates that he takes you on <3

About Reader:

Reader? OOoooh, you mean my roommate, right? I really enjoy their company, quiet iet so energetic and loud, I dont really know how to explain it but on one second you can see them running errands for the rest of the students with a smile on their face and on the other they are speed running their forgotten homework for next class, they really have to start to manage their tasks and start getting their life together.

General sumery about your relationship with said character:

You and Layla are roommates and most of the time you make sure and by make sure I mean forse Layla to go to sleep earlier and make food for the both of you, and whenever you accidentaly fall asleep she makes sure to do some of your work so you wont burn yourself out, and yes some times you two blast music and sing in your shared dorm just cuz you guys had too much energy one night, the next morning both of you regretted it instantly.

What the fandom thinks/though:

The first thing that came into the fandoms mind is that Layer( the ship name between Layla and reader) is that the both of you fit the sun-moon trope (Layla- moon, reader-sun) and stuck with it, refusing to change its mind. And most people just accepted it, though its not really popular its not considered a rare pair either is just in the midle, and it has enough content to satisfy the Layer shippers^^, Also not to mention the unholy amount of hurt/comfors fanfics there are👀, as canon goes theres a good amount of scenes with Layla from your hangout to support the ship as "hinted as canon" by mihoyo.

Oooooh yes, I always have stepdad bucky thoughts!! And I was thinking today about how frustrating it is when you get a cute new set of underwear and you're excited to show someone and the first thing they wanna do is take it off you? Bc that lowkey used to annoy me. Push it to the side but keep it on and appreciate it and I feel like that's more his style.

Because maybe he's taking the laundry out of the dryer some night and he notices this tiny piece of black clothing tucked right in at the back. He almost missed it honestly and at first he thinks it's just a sock.

But when he pulls it out he notices the pretty little pink polka dots. Then he notices the frills and for a second, he thinks it's your mother's but once he sees the tag, he knows it can't be. Your mother has never shopped there before so there's only one other explanation.

"Jesus Christ." He mumbles, clenching the tiny piece of fabric in his fist. The rest of the laundry is left discarded in the basket as he marches his way down to your room.

"What the fuck is this?" He demands, not even knocking before bursting through the door, tossing the panties on the bed beside you. The smirk on your face does nothing to calm him. Especially since you'd know better than to put your cute new underwear in the dryer. You lived on your own for the first couple of years of college, you know how to do your washing so you wouldn't be so careless unless you wanted him to find it.

"What does it look like, daddy?" You tease, lifting the offending article of clothing, if you could even call it that before unfolding it delicately. "If you need me to, I can show you how I wear it? It looks pretty."

His eyes light up but fuck, you shouldn't be doing this. Not with your mom downstairs. "Nothing I haven't seen before, sweetheart." To the untrained ear, his voice is calm. It's measured and even and almost indifferent but it's the way his tongue runs gently along his bottom lip that gives him away.

You strip slowly, pressing him down to sit on the bed before taking your top and bra off, followed by your shoes, skirt and panties. It's a leisurely pace but time is a luxury you just don't have right now. You slip the little black panties up your legs, letting them settle on your hips, smiling softly at Bucky. He has no idea what to say, beckoning you over to stand in front of where he's sitting on the edge of the bed. You find your way between his spread legs, reaching for his belt while his warm hands map your body, drifting over your curves and delving between your thighs. As always, you do your best not to think about the slim, gold wedding band on his finger. The only reminder that this man is actually not yours at all. He's your mother's.

"Bet those boys from college would be tearing these off you already." He chuckles, his scruff tickling your bare skin as he litters kisses all over you.

You can't help but laugh because he's nailed it. They would be. But they'd also be boys who don't know how to treat a woman. They don't know how to make you feel sexy or confident or empowered because that's not really their goal. They have far more selfish intentions and that's just not the experience you have with Bucky.

"That'd be their loss though. Especially when you look so beautiful all wrapped up like this." One pointer finger gently hooks under the thin fabric, pushing it to the side and letting him trail his middle finger towards your core. Your breath hitches in your throat because it's almost embarrassing how turned on you are already.

"Hm, you're all worked up. I'm not surprised. You know why? Cause I took the time to learn your body. Unlike them, I can get you off and you fucking know it. I remind you often enough. Make this one quick, sweetie. Who knows when mommy will come looking for me."
