This is how it all started on 30th April with one of my most impressive clients. A barrage of messages basically outlining that her options were either bariatric surgery (gastric bypass) or death. That was what the NHS and her psych gave her the options of. In no uncertain terms I outlined to her that was not an option and that this could be managed through coaching and understanding nutrition. To date she has lost 2st2lb and has joined a gym (and actually uses it!). This is superb, not only is she losing weight but doing it carefully and likely trading body fat for muscle which is exactly what we want. This girl has nailed Keto. She keeps it simple, sticks to the rules, understands macros AND is also spreading Keto joy to her husband who has ADHD and now controlling his illness. Her cravings have gone along with her lethargy and mood swings and her anxiety about being in public places is improving. As a mum of children with special needs this just goes to show how with a little bit of time each day (after being Wonder Woman sorting out children, husband and house on top of working full time) she has turned her life around- in fact saved her life.
