I’m so excited the Japanese festival is back! Not sure who I should cosplay first, but I’m doing a mob psycho group cosplay at some point

I just went to #ONEPIECERED at the cinema which got released in our theatres last week. I really enjoyed Uta’s character in the movie and her interaction and development towards the already known characters from the show. While I haven’t watched a lot of One Piece, I didn’t have a lot of trouble following up with the story. I also think the musical approach they went with was quite good, perhaps since it is something new, it could use some refining to the musical anime concept if it is ever tried again, but it was definitely more on the good side. Ado’s performance was amazing and also her casting was one of the things that caught my interest in this movie initially along with Uta’s character. Since I had planned to go to the movie I have also made this fanart which I wanted to release once I watched the movie inspired by Backlight. I am still working on another fanart of her which I don’t know when I’ll post, but she is rather fun to draw considering also the complexity of her character and different stages that get enunciated by each song. Over all, it was worth it, and you can tell me as well what you think of the movie or if you have watched it or want to watch it.
