Sometimes I think about how Linkin Park is only seen as this angsty band for "Crawling", "Numb", and of course "In the End", and it's kinda sad. There's a lot of depth to LP's music that's a lot of healing from toxic relationships, mental health, and moving on to bigger and better things (that's what I'm getting out of their music at least lol). None of their work is going to go back to their first album "Hybrid Theory", which is stated recently by Mike Shinoda who mentioned that they've moved on from that time of Meteora/Hybrid Theory. They are and always will be an experimental band, especially seen in "A Thousand Suns" album.
If you only know Linkin Park for the first few songs that are bangers but not for you, I highly recommend "Good Goodbye", "The Catalyst", "Powerless", "Leave Out All The Rest" and "Guilty All The Same". All are completely different sounding from one another and are all from different albums.
Please check them out, it's worth looking into ^-^
I'm lost in these memories
Living behind my own illusion
Lost all my dignity
Living inside my own confusion
I try to keep this pain inside
But I will never be alright
"It's obviously sad because I miss him. Also beautiful to have an extra special day to celebrate his memory & his legacy & how much joy he brought people, and the light & life that was inside of him that he shared so vulnerably."
