Last week my sibling watch the Rise of TMNT movie. In the clips I watched of it, I was like aww hell this is a good show. I watched too many clips where it now afflicts my tiktok page and my youtube recommended.

I really want to watch the show, but the same sib also said they don’t want me watching it until I finish something else. (Because they know I haven’t finished Camp Cretaceous or My Hero Academia; they even know of my RTTE rewatch)

But it’s just too enticing! I found out about the voice actors, the fact that Leo is freaking Ben Schwartz, who does a number of blue characters: Sonic (2020), Dewey in DT17, Skidmark in DreamWorks Turbo! Then Donnie is voiced by Josh Brenner who also does Mark Beaks in DT 17! When watching those clips I’m like omg it’s just Dewey and Beaks, and now they play brothers, I can’t get over it.

Tho how my sibling reeled me in more, is who voices Raph. Omar Miller, he was in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice!

And man the sibling dynamic is just so awesome, and the fact that for this 2018 version you can actually tell them apart aside from the colored masks.

But yeah, I made a deal with myself. I’ll catch up with Camp Cretaceous first then delve into this wonderful show.

One thing I think about a lot is that the voice actors for Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are so perfect. Each one of them truly brings their character to life and I can never get tired of how expressive their voices are!! They add so much to their characters! Their various tones— just everything is so so good. I cannot believe more people do not really mention this??? Seriously like their voice acting is just so amazing! In snow day where they sung I was not expecting that but I was so pleasantly surprised!! I cannot express how much I love and how fitting the voice actors are I am so !!!!

Robert Pattinson is definitely a good choice, I can see why he was so popular for fan castings. For me, I wanted Oscar Issac. He won me over with his performance as Spider-Man 2099/Miguel.
