They both do actually! They both come from a rural/farmer background, so they both bond over that similarity. Jo often visits Okinawa during the summer to help with some farmland her grandma owns. (As well as some that her sister owns in the continental US) Rod has helped out a few times, since it makes him nostalgic, but he's unable to hang around long. Rod does not have a home to return to so he rly does cherish helping out with crops and stuff :3 (excuse to doodle them with a giant carrot)

Am I a bad person for thinking our sword boys are useless when it comes to certain events, for the lack of a better word? I remember a crossover comic where Gilgamesh from Fate laughs like a villain he is while destroying the citadel, and Hachisuka is begging him to stop and Mikazuki and Nakigitsune are sitting ducks.

You're not a bad person for thinking that. But it does take a lot of willpower to endure watching some of them get repeatedly curbstomped in certain events lol.

Some sword types do shine more than others. The rest require a little extra love poured into them.

As far as I remember, these were my loadouts for major events:

🌴 Regiment Battles (Seaside): Tantowames to pick off any stragglers that survived the double water cannons in extreme maps. Okinawa trio for the event bonuses, which really helped with speedruning for the event reward items/swords.

💥 Regiment Battles: Tantowames had the most survivability in the extreme map night stages and pretty much all the chaos stages. Probably tossed in a waki, uchi, or tachi wame somewhere.

💰 Underground Treasure Chest: Hakata (my little maneki neko, koban loan shark, and primary income provider), whichever Awataguchi has 2x exp bonus, and a naginata for floors 50 and lower. Teams got shuffled every 10 floors after that.

⚔️ War Training Expansion, Edo Castle Investigations: Whoever is getting the 2x exp special. (Got Sohaya from ubu 99 to kiwame 55 and Tomoe gained an extra kiwame 28 before I finally sent him off to training)

🎵 Village of Treasures: Mostly consisted of tachi, uchigatana, or oodachi kiwames for the tankiness to make it through koi-koi level 4.

Me, working with a boss who disrespects me as an employee and a supervisor who, while well-intentioned, literally infantilizes me: 🤬

Me, getting a video from a parent who wanted to share that their child (my client) was crying/yelling in the car because he wants to go to speech: 😭 ♥️

At this point I’m sticking around for the short term because in general the drama has simmered down; boss was unable to take away literally all my clients, as per her plan, due to scheduling and parent request; and nowadays, her vindictive side has been appeased because she is happy with me working on some important (albeit boring) backend stuff that should have been done ages ago; and it’s convenient for me to stick around while I low-key plan the next move.

In theory I should also use this down-time to do something about my writing projects. Okinawa will probably feature more heavily in the Shiva novel. It’s cute because both Kerala and Okinawa are tropical and I want to do some silly nonsense with the cultural and mythological elements. 🌴

Recently I went to a coffee shop and ate pancakes 🥞

Maple butter pancakes, when it comes to pancakes simple is best….!

I like the sound of maple. I don’t really go out that much but when I do I’m often by myself. If I find a really good shop I want to find someone to go with next time, but I need the courage to ask someone （#><#）There are a lot of people I want to invite.

I bought glasses recently. I thought since I lost a pair I would have to buy a new pair but right after I bought a new pair I found my old pair AHHHHHH….

Right now at home one of the glasses brothers is there. This is my daily report.

Since Serra-chan’s graduation ceremony finished, I still feel like the Serra-chan before the ceremony is still here in the dressing room.

I really like this outfit and when I think about the memories I have with Serra-chan I come to like it even more. The lace is really heavy but it’s a happy weight.

On the day of the live during rehearsals I felt really sad when I had to remove the headset that she helped adjust for me, letting go of her hand that she let me hold before the actual live was scary but the ceremony was absolutely amazing.

I’m so glad that I was able to be there.

I'll keep working hard and doing my best with my work ❤️‍🔥

Today I'll talk about Okinawa🌴🌺✈🌴🌺✈

Yesterday was our Okinawa performance！

I wanted to go to the venue and cheer everyone on in person〜

I wanted to wave my penlight and cheer with all my might！

I'm so upset〜(;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) ｳｩ･･･

But I'm glad all of the member-sans finished the tour without further issue！

I guess the Spring Tour is now over…

I actually went to the Shizuoka Performance😃

Mama bought tickets for me and I went with my 2 best friends and we lined up for goods and stuff too！

… While I was auditioning 笑lol

It was so much fun〜！

I remember feeling so emotional when all of the member-sans appeared on stage…。

I really felt the heatwaves radiating out from the stage、

I was totally absorbed in the performance and I couldn't tear my eyes away from my binoculars the whole time 笑lol

At the Shizuoka Performance I was part of the audience by now that the spring tour is over I'll be joining the performance myself…

It makes me strangely emotionalー！

During my auditions、I had to face a lot of tough things and I felt myself breaking but even now I remember the amount of motivation I got from watching their live performance！

I'll do my best to give someone else motivation too！

Since、I'm talking about Okinawa

Today Mama recreated the tomato pasta from my favourite café！

It tasted… Just like the real thing！！！！

It was incredibーle how deliciously similar it was to the original♡

I also ate peach caprese salad！

This was a very new flavour… but it was fresh and delicious！

（I ate it with mozzarella and peach and basil🍑）

I Getted ｢Memorable Flavours｣！

I'm not great at balancing flavours

So I want to study some more and cook more delicious dishes 笑lol♡

I'll post some photos when I succeed！
