so it seems in the second leaked promo that Ed isn’t alone in the hut in the woods?? Stede is also there???? Maybe Ed gets injured during the fight on the beach after he washes up (Ed and Stedes reunion, chaotic as hell) or maybe he just collapses after swimming so long… but stede gets them away from the fight and finds the hut and nurses Ed back to health until he wakes up and headbutts stede ?? Is this where they will have their heart to heart, with Ed unable to run or fight because he’s injured and therefore they have to talk it out…. It would be a nice parallel to their first meeting when stede was injured . Maybe the “ghost” then appears to him in a fever dream

Edit: just realized that stedes wearing a different outfit, the Chinese uniform? Anyways idk they might be somewhere else or stede might have kept the jacket cause they seem to be in those outfits pre crew reuniting

I had a dream last night that I was trying to shoot some guy with his own gun, but I couldn’t figure out how to work it and then he was like “oh, you just have to turn off the safety. Let me show you” and then he did it for me and then I shot him. I just woke up like “was that actually stede bonnet?”

I was left unsupervised and wrote an OFMD S2 and beyond version of We Didn't Start the Fire 😁

Stede dream-fighting Izzy Hands, Ed is wrecking wedding plans, The republic, Spanish Jackie, Swede is quite the snack, Roach keeps cooking, Buttons pining, Wee John warns about the stabbing, Poor old Izzy getting dizzy, Tattoo on Ed's back. Minor Prince, puzzle chest, Swede says marriage is best, Thieving planned, husband chore, treasure chest right out the door, Indigo and coins gleam, Crew's got a new queen, Zheng Yi Sao and the Red Flag, The Republic, goodbye.

[Chorus] We didn't raise the flag But we'll keep it waving For this show we're saving We didn't raise the flag But they tried to drop it We won't let them stop it

[Verse 2] Izzy shot and Blackbeard done, Frenchie gets a promotion, Wooden boy voice, blood all over, Lucius is back. Good soup, the Queen wins, Is the Revenge sinking?? Lots of people wondering why Max wouldn’t renew OFMD. We all know it’s a big mistake, huge mistake, but why?

I just keep thinking that even when they made season 2 the crew wasn’t confident that they would get a season 3, so they made sure to end it in a way that Ed and Stede could be happy.

The likelihood that it wouldn’t be renewed was so big that they did that for us. They even made season 2 on a reduced budget so that they could give us what they did.

It’s just a shame that the leaking boat that is HBO Max had the show to start with. I mean of all the places they could have started off it had to be the one streaming service that doesn’t even have a global presence - you can’t get Max in so many places (like the U.K where I am).

I wish some other network had taken it on board from the start. That’s where it all went wrong.
