𝐑𝐄-𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆… 𝐌𝐘 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐄𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐑

❝ Eddie Baker’s first encounter with a criminal was indirect. He was nine years old, and had come home from school eager to show his parents the math test he had aced, only to find his mother sobbing at the kitchen table and be told that his aunt had been killed by a mugger who had attempted to steal her purse. Eddie had never been that close to his aunt - she loved her sister, his mother, but had never really liked kids - but seeing his mother so broken because of something someone else had done had ignited a fire inside of him, a desire to one day get a job that would help make people who would do such horrible things pay for what they had done.

As Eddie grew older and his home life grew worse, that fire inside of him had steadily flared brighter and brighter. As his mother spiralled deeper and deeper into her grief over her lost sister, turning to alcohol to numb her pain, and his father had completely burned himself out trying to take care of two people at once and earn enough money to pay the bills, the young boy swore to himself that even if he couldn’t make the man who’d killed his aunt and caused all this misery (who’d never been caught by the police since the only witness to the crime was dead) pay for what he’d done, he would one day spend his entire life putting away anyone else who would do anything similar.

Eventually, Eddie fulfilled his promise to himself, getting a job at the FBI and working his way into a good position in the Critical Incident Response Group. He thrived in this job, treating every single case like it was the most important one he would ever work and revelling in the fact that he got to send some of his country’s worst off to prison where they belonged. He’d never exactly meant to make work his whole life, but he’d never really had any friends and his only hobby was tending to the many plants in his apartment - there had never really been a chance for him to have anyone in his life.

Until Eddie is required to correspond with the Behavioural Analysis Unit for a case, and quickly makes friends with the crazy, chaotic found family that is this team. Though Eddie likes his position in the FBI too much to even consider transferring to the BAU, he genuinely appreciates and cares about every member of that team, relishing his friendships with all of them for bringing some genuine happiness into his work-centred life.

And if he has started to have feelings for Aaron Hotchner, the stoic and courageous leader of the BAU team… well, Hotch is married with a kid and will never return Eddie’s feelings, but that’s fine. Eddie can endure this stupid little crush until it goes away, can’t he? ❞

No words can express how excited I was to reveal Brienne Velvet in the Butcher AU

For a couple of months I’ve been working on her character and design, at first i wasn’t going to make Brienne in this Dark AU.

Mainly due to lack of fitting her in the AU and the idea of Wally being a cannibal lol

{Warning: this contains gore and disturbing descriptions some people will find disturbing}

Anyway, Meet Brienne Velvet, the Baker and newest neighbor of the neighborhood Home, she moved from Violet Evergreen with her roommate Sally Starlet, a starving actress.

Brienne opened up her own bakery, Baby Doll’s and seemly life was going swell…well until she met her neighbor across from her bakery, the Butcher, Wally Darling.

Well, met is far fetched to Wally…

{In 1958}

Wally was a little boy, abused and neglected by his father, Detleu loved by his mother, Donna until her death by the hands of his father.

Wally was just a boy, hurt, depressed and abused, he felt alone at the park until a young girl with blonde pig tails approached him, she helped him with his bruises and talk to him like a friend.

This girl was Brienne Velvet, she had blonde pretty golden hair at the time, she and wally became the best of friends while growing up in home.

Brienne lived with her mother, Margaret and older sister Brittany. Prior to moving to Home Archie Velvet, Husband and father died in a car crash causing his family to move for a new life.

During Wally & Brienne’s teen years, they gone closer and closer, Brienne was his study buddy and often protected him rather it’d be bullies or his father.

Brienne wasn’t the popular girl, she was pretty but definitely not the dream girl…to wally she was, Brienne was an athlete in women’s track that was rare.

Brienne had a brighter and welcoming family mor than Wally which why he preferred to to hang out with her at her house instead.

Eventually Brienne and Wally started dating in secret mainly from his father, they went on movie dates whether it was the theater or at her place, it took awhile but wally got used to Margaret being nice to him.

It was sweet while it lasted…a cute young couple just in love, blinded by reality and dangers.

{In 1963}

Wally and Brienne were giggling, sneaking into his backyard at night while his father was “asleep”, they talked during the moonlight, gazing at each other with love and kissing without a care in the world.

Unfortunately, that blindness of love was there downfall, deltleu wasn’t asleep but drunk and when he heard sounds in his backyard, he grabbed a shotgun and saw wally with Brienne making out and in his drunken state…

He cloaked his gun casing the young lovers to break away and Brienne gasp in fear as Wally’s father had a shotgun, causing Wally to quickly push her off and made her run.

She ran and panted, scared for her life as she should be, Wally begged his father not to hurt Brienne but he didnt listen and shot, until she collapsed when he finally shot her in the head.

Wally screamed bloody murder, he had lost it, he tried to ran to Brienne’s unmoving body but his father grabbed him as Wally screamed how much he hated him for killing his girlfriend.

Unknown to him, Brienne was alive, barely breathing but unconscious and wolves in the deep woods smelled her blood.

They start ripping her skin and eating her flesh off.

Brienne would’ve been truly dead if it weren’t for two officers finding her in the woods after Margaret was on a search for her missing daughter.

She was missing for three hours and within that three hours she was alive, bleeding from her head and bloody all over her face, the cops rushed the poor girl to the hospital.

Margaret and Brittany were worried, Brienne was attached to wires and a life line.

Brienne was brought to the hospital on time to be saved by chance, a miracle and some would say fate.

Doctors operated on Brienne face, wounds and getting the bullet out of her head.

It took weeks for Brienne to be conscious again but her face was healing miraculously.

However, Brienne had no memories of Wally, no memories of early childhood years just memories of Brittany and Margaret.

That was then Margaret made it a decision as her mother to move to a different town away from here.

She firmly believed this town was dangerous, although Margaret loved her children, she couldn’t bare to look at Brienne. Her face was gone and she had to wear a prosthetic pin-up doll mask for the rest of her life.

Brienne went on through the rest of her high school years like this with no friends, she cut her hair and dyed it black, she didn’t like looking like her mother who could barely stand her.

After high school, Brienne worked at a Hotel to make money to support herself and make enough money to become a professional baker and to own her own bakery.

She met a woman around her age, Sally Starlet her co-worker. They were both front desk.

Sally dream was to be a actress, she wanted to star in musicals, movies and TV shows but as of now she was a starving Actress.

Once the two individual women developed a friendship, they had a plan to move in together for their careers.

At the end of the year 1985, Brienne moved in with Sally in the neighborhood "home".

Sally would focus on her acting career while Brienne could open her bakery "Baby doll's".

Unfortunately, she would find out that something dark and sinister lurks in the night...waiting and hunting.

She can feel it from the butcher shop across her bakery, her librarian Frank, mail man, Eddie, friendly neighbor Poppy, the comedian, Barnaby, and the grocery store owner Howdy feel it too...

A/n: I had have this character underground for a year and by god, I'm so thrilled I get to show her off!

This is one of my brilliant stories with Brienne and Wally in the AUs.

And yes, people who know the plot love the tragic love story in the butcher wally au :)

In the butcher AU, I have three endings planned

The true ending/happy ending: Brienne stays in the neighborhood "home" she rekindles her lost love with Wally after talking with him finally and remembers her past slowly but surely.

In this ending a secret path is revealed in the story, Brienne was forced to take medical pills "Alprazolam" to forget her past with wally by her mother.

It is only when she stops taking them everything is revealed to her, also Wally and Brienne end up getting married and having your kids in this ending :)

The bad ending: Everyone is dead, straight up Wally kills the neighbors and Brienne's best friend Sally.

Brienne knows she and wally had a relationship but she was driven with madness and insanity after her friends were killed and her employees.

She wants revenge and instead of running away she confront Wally and makes him pay with his life.

In this ending, she kills Wally with her axe with no hesitation and what reminds her of her psyche is insanity.

The escape ending: This is the neutral ending where most of the neighbors are killed, Sally and Brienne are left to survive and escape the butcher shop.

In this ending, Brienne never rekindles her lost love with wally not remembers him and leaves with sally to LA to start a fresh start with their careers.

I based off Brienne design in this au as sal fisher from sally face as you can tell.

Brienne is a fairy puppet like the rest of her family and she is chubby in the present time unlike in the past

(I can't draw sally I'm sorry XD the includes probably the rest of the welcome home neighbors)

In case no one knew, Brienne not best friends with Julie joyful in the neighborhood due to the canon wise she is dead in the butcher wally au so she never met her and only sally.

I know you said you’re not continuing the bake-off AU & that’s fine but I am curious… in your head, do they both make it to the final? Or does one get knocked out before the other? Only to reappear then at the end when they bring everyone back for the garden party?

That is a very good question! I think it really depends who else is in the tent—tbh one of the big reasons I'm a bit leery of continuing that snippet is that I don't want to make a whole bunch of OCs, and it would feel too weird to transpose the existing cast. Like, what, now Max is from a council estate in Deptford? Dustin grew up in Cambridgeshire? My Brit creds are far too haphazard to pull that off. (when you said Scottish Eddie in the tags I was like. yes that feels right but idk why exactly?? thank you for understanding how he would obviously vibe with a Brighton relocation though, I love queercoding the hell out of him in ways that Steve is absolutely not picking up)

That said...

I think Steve's palate is probably too American to gel perfectly with Paul and Mary, so he's going to have a couple of flavour/texture combos in his showstoppers that they just don't like (and one or two that pleasantly surprise them), his signature bakes are consistently going to look too rough/homemade for their liking, and he's going to struggle a bit with some of the more classically European technicals. I think he'll make it about halfway through the series, maybe even to quarter-finals, as long as he keeps his head in the game and other bakers mess up just enough.

Eddie will take a lot of risks in his flavours, but he's a planner. (I've been mulling over a whole Thing about how he's a classical musician at heart, metaphorically speaking.) He's going to be very technically proficient and precise, which is going to work out very well in combination with his creative flair as long as he doesn't forget to keep an eye on the basics. I could definitely see him accidentally forgetting to turn the oven on or something.

I think he's going to get quite far—more than Steve, barring any unforeseen disasters—but I don't know if he'll make it to the final. He'll try something absolutely off-the-wall for the semi-finals, and it'll basically be a coin flip as to whether it works out or not.

In any case, they will absolutely 100% be officially and very blatantly together by the garden party, and the producers will need to make some significant editorial decisions about the series as a whole.

(Please note that I have never seen a single episode of the Channel 4 version of GBBO except the Derry Girls cast special. I have absolutely no idea what they're up to nowadays, aside from the GIFs I've seen of Mexican Week.)

"-And then Frank chased Eddie around the garden and it was so cuuute! Eddie picked Frank up and carried him through the grass and ahhh it was so romantic! Those two are the perfect couple!" Julie Joyful held her heart as she swooned. Sally Starlet smiled wide as she nestled into her pillows.

"Aww, they sound stellar! I'm going to cast them in my new play coming up this summer. It's gonna be my biggest one yet!" Sally exclaimed with sparkles in her eyes. Sally and Julie giggled with each other as Nelly Baker came to the living room with a plate of orange cookies.

"Here's the finished orange cookies, girls! They came out really well!" Nelly placed the plate on the table and settled into the couch. The girls were having their first sleepover, and it was going well so far! Nelly had never been to a sleepover before, her snack cart took a lot of work to uphold, but tonight she made an exception for her friends. She couldn't pass up their kind invitation!

"Oh, great work Nelly! These look astral!" Sally and Julie each reached for a cookie from the plate and bit into them. Nelly's famous orange cookies were famous for a reason! Sally and Julie squealed as the cookies burst with citrus flavor.

"Mmmmm! These are soooo yummy! You really took the cake with these Nelly! Or you took the cookies, more like!" Julie smiled wide as Nelly smiled at her compliment.

"Oh thank you! It was nothing really." Sally finished her cookie quickly and reached for another one. She tugged on one of her yellow spikes thoughtfully.

"Nelly, you're so humble! You should give yourself more credit!" Julie said with a supportive smile. She hugged a plushy close to her as she brushed through her golden hair with her fingers. Sally finished her cookie and leaned forward on her knees.

"Well, remember what John Bunyan said! "I am content with what I have, little be it or much." Maybe Nelly's just happy with what she has!" Sally smiled at Nelly, and when Nelly smiled back at her, Sally noticed something for the first time.

"Yeah! I work hard to sell my treats, but I know I'm not the best or anything. I'm always learning and improving my recipes as well as I can." Nelly smoothed out her braids as Julie smiled at her.

"Hey, Nelly? I just noticed the stitching by your mouth. And on your neck too! They're cosmic! Where did you get the thread from?" Sally asked excitedly. Nelly brushed her fingers past her thread as if forgetting they were there. The red thread adorning the sides of her mouth and neck was a bit raised from the rest of her skin.

"Oh, they've been there for as long as I can remember! It's just kinda been there, I guess. I don't really pay attention to them to be completely honest." She shrugged with a calm smile on her face. Julie looked at her surprised.

"Oh really? I think they suit you!" Julie said honestly. Nelly brought a bigger smile to her face as she held her neck absent-mindedly.

"Well, thank you! I like your pajamas today, they really bring out your eyes!" Nelly complimented. Luckily the conversation shifted for a moment as Julie spread out her light blue nighty.

"Isn't it gorgeous! I made it myself out of Frank's curtains! He was upset for a day, but I made it up to him eventually!" Nelly leaned in to get a closer look at the pattern on the dress. As Nelly leaned forward, Sally noticed one of Nelly's threads on her neck was loose.

"Oh, Nelly? One of your threads is loose! Oh, don't worry I can fix it." Before Nelly could react, Sally produced a pair of scissors from her pocket and reached forward to help Nelly. Sally's fingers brushed past Nelly's stitching.

"Eek! Sally be careful, please! That's ticklish!" Nelly twitched as her shoulder bumped up out of reflex. Sally brought her hand back as Julie looked up at Nelly.

"Oh, so sorry girl! I didn't know you were ticklish!" Sally put her scissors back in her pocket as Julie became curious.

"Nelly, you're ticklish? That's so cute!" The girls inched closer to Nelly as Nelly put her hands up.

"Oh, haha, I guess! My threads are pretty sensitive aside from just my neck." Nelly put her hands down as Julie and Sally sat on either side of her to inspect her skin for more red threading.

"You have more threading than just on your neck? Stellar! Where are they?" Sally asked. Nelly, a little clueless to the question, moved her shirt aside and showed them more stitching lining down her collarbones.

"I have some lined up along here, and some on my stomach. There are some other places too, but I can't really-" Julie reached forward and fluttered her fingers over the red threading. Nelly giggled as she tried to stay in place for her curious friend.

"Oh, the color is so pretty! It reminds me of poppies in springtime!" Julie cooed as Sally traced her fingers down the length of Nelly's threading as it ended at her shoulders.

"I wish you knew where this thread was from, I would use it for all my clothing!" Sally sighed. Nelly was finding it difficult to keep still as her friend's fingers brushed over the threading.

"Tehehehee! Gihihihirls plehease! This tihihickles!" Nelly shivered as she tried to keep her body as still as she could for her curious friends. She figured it was the least she could do for them being so courteous and allowing her into their home.

"Aww but Nelly your laughter is so cute! You should laugh more, a smile looks radiant on you!" Sally exclaimed. "Remember what Catherine Pulsifer said! You always feel better when you have a good laugh; that is so true!" Sally fluffed her fingers over Nelly's shoulders and neck. Nelly squeaked and tried scrunching up her shoulders to hide her neck.

"Hehehehee! Dihihios mihihio! Ohohoho!~" Nelly giggled lightheartedly and tried bringing her hands up to her neck to shield herself a little.

"I'm glad you agree with the poem, Nelly! You're certainly in the right spirits!" Sally produced a feather from her crafty pockets and started fluffing it past Nelly's ear. Nelly twitched and tried batting the feather away like flitting away a bug.

"Oh Nelly I didn't realize you'd be this ticklish! How come we didn't know sooner! Were you hiding this from us?~" Julie gently took one of Nelly's hands into her own and pulled it away from her neck so she could scritch over Nelly's tummy. Nelly gave a small squeal as she picked her knee up and tittered.

"Oh right there's a good spot? There should be another stitch there!" Sally traveled her fingers along Nelly's belly until she found the raised stitching underneath her shirt. Sally scribbled her fingers into it while Nelly laughed with pink cheeks.

"Ehehehehe! Nohohoho nohohohot my tummehehee!" Nelly giggled as Julie and Sally cooed above her.

"Awww, she's so cute! I love how pink she is! We really tickled her pink didn't we?" Julie took a tuft of her hair and started feathering it over Nelly's neck while Sally tickled over Nelly's tummy. Nelly started to fall back into the couch as her laughs overcame her.

"I think we did! Nelly, on a scale from one to astronomical, how would you rate our performance in tickling you?" Sally narrated. Nelly snickered as she tried curling up into her ler's fingers to try and halt them.

"Ahahastronomicahahal! Ihihihit reheheally tihihickles!!" Her eyes narrowed as Sally and Julie kept tickling over her body. The girls cheered as they continued lightly tickling their friend.

"Divine! Would you say we're leaving you in stitches?~" Julie joked as Sally giggled at her corniness. Their fingers fluffed anywhere they could reach. Nelly's laughter was bubbly and sweet to their ears.

"Yeah! I hope you don't split a seam, Nelly!" Sally egged on as Julie and Sally switched, with Sally on Nelly's tummy and Julie on Nelly's ears. Nelly squealed and tried escaping the feather-light tickles.

"Ehehehehee! E-Esperahahahar! Pohohor fahahavor! Teehehehehee!" Nelly laughed out of squinted eyes as she covered up her tummy with her arms. She was thoroughly tickled and tingly from all the different tools and techniques used on her.

"Wow, what a wonderful show you put on, Nelly!" Sally clapped as Julie rubbed Nelly on the back and offered her some of her own cookies.

"Yeah, Nelly you're so fun to hang out with! You're a blast! Do you want to color or make a pillow fort?" Julie asked, already onto the next activity.

After Nelly finished half of her cookie, she nodded with a smile, completely refreshed.

"Yeah, I wanna do it all!" She replied excitedly.

"Yayyy! What should we do first?" Sally asked. Nelly put up one of her hands to stop Sally.

"Woah woah woah, not so fast. I said I wanted to do everything. Including getting you too back!" The living room filled with girlish squeals as Nelly chased her two friends around the living room, just to capture and tickle them playfully.

The rest of the sleepover was a major success, filled with baking, coloring, dramatic plays, and lots of laughter!

Sure! (And since they’re my OCs, technically every Headcannon is cannon hehehe)

Anastasia falls in love VERY easily, with anyone really (she’s Bi) but no matter what she tries, she just can’t strike a relationship with anyone 😞 still, she doesn’t let that stop her from falling in love. A lot.

Lloyd tries to pass off as a guy who doesn’t care— But he’s a huge nerd that definitely cares lol. Especially about his best friend, Anastasia. And she knows it, no matter how much he tries to hide it.

(I should also add that Lloyd and Anastasia should not be shipped. They feel more like brother and sister than dating (also Lloyd is gay ^^ (very gay… For Henry—)))

Henry/Ed was an experiment Dr. Jekyll did to see if his ‘condition’ would pass on to his kids. (It did) Rather than abandoning Henry/Ed, though, Dr. Jekyll (and Mr. Hyde) decided to raise them as their own ^^ (this is also why Henry/Ed look so much like their father(s), they’re literally made directly from their genes)

Brenda has a third eye, so she can look into the future :D I can’t guarantee that she’ll actually tell you what’s going to happen or not. If someone is going to do something incredibly stupid, she won’t tell them because they need to learn their lesson. If their life is at risk, however, she’s on top of it, trying to warn them.

Joy used to go to a school in Hell, but was since transferred because her mother thought that she could use a different school and that it would be good for her to meet new people. Joy is still pretty bitter about that. But is there a darker truth to the school down in Hell? 🤔

Polly may look all sweet and innocent, but she can be feral if she wants to :)

Evan can only have food with high amounts of sugar. It’s a play on words because in photosynthesis, plants ‘eat’ something called sugar but it’s not actually sugar we use for baking (idk what it actually is and I don’t really feel like looking it up first thing in the morning lol). So Evan can basically have as much cake and donuts as he wants (I’m jealous)

Bo (is non-binary, yes ^^) loves their dads, but can get pretty embarrassed by them. Sand Mann usually does it unintentionally, but Boogey Mann knows how easy Bo is embarrassed hehehe (but he stops when he’s told to by his husband or his kid)
