Kit sat at her desk, finishing filling out her new hire paperwork for the Hope County Sheriff's Department Deputy position.

"Why the long face, gorgeous?"

Kit's pale blue eyes flicked up to look at the firecracker of a deputy, her eyebrow cocked at the confidence of the compliment given, only to be met by a cheeky grin in return.

Taking in the pink haired deputy with a confused smirk, she wasn't quite sure what to make of her. For a county full of cowboys, fishermen, and hunters, she certainly stood out from the pack, dip dyed from head to toe in cotton candy rather than a closet full of denim and plaid, something she expected to see more in Missoula than in cougar and bear country.

"Just born that way."

"It works for you," Lola winked.

Kit narrowed her eyes, regarding Lola and the certain sparkling charm she had. She'd never had anyone call her gorgeous before, least of all as an opener, and to be completely honest, just because it was Lola, it worked.

I'm going to have to keep my eye on this one, Kit thought, a small grin creeping up the corners of her mouth.

a/n: hi :) english is not my first language, it's actually spanish, so there are most likely spelling errors. also, this was completly rewritten, i had already posted another 2 parts of basically the same story but i never wrote the part 3. so i rewrite it and i really hope you like it.

a while ago, adeline summers was the darling of the silver screen, adored and admired by fans all across the globe. however, her blissful stardom crashed down like a castle of cards when she ended things with her popular boyfriend, who was also an actor. she was soon the subject of crude internet drama and hated by all faces of social media. driven to despair by the constant hate and backlash, she decided to take a break from the spotlight. she slipped away unnoticed one night, leaving behind the world of glam and paparazzi, to find peace and solace in the unseen corners of the world. adeline found herself in monaco, a warm haven tucked away from the hustle-bustle. she spent her days strolling along the coastline, reading books, avoiding any forms of media, and getting lost in the magnificence of the endless azure. she was healing, slowly perhaps, but surely.

one afternoon, while she was quietly sitting on a park bench, a guy approached her. dressed in casual attire, there was a serenity about him that immediately caught adeline's attention. the guy, who introduced himself as arthur, was also escaping the prying eyes of society. arthur was a formula 2 driver, whose love-life had become a free-for-all, as his relationship with his current ex-girlfriend had ended on bad terms. burnt out by the media's relentless scrutiny and rumor-mongering, he found solace in solitude, just like adeline. it was refreshing for both of them to find someone who understood their plight.

after a few friendly encounters in monaco, arthur suggested that they take a spontaneous trip to lake como in italy. hesitant at first, adeline finally agreed, seeing it as an opportunity to further escape the social storm back home. as they spent time on the serene shores of lake como, away from the world's view, mutual comfort turned into attraction and eventually into a deep affection. they found solace in each other's arms, their simultaneous heartbreaks healing in sync. days that started with watching sunrises over the lake and ended with the sharing of deepest secrets under the moonlight were etched in their hearts.

together, they indulged in italy, taking boat rides, picnicking amidst the lush grapevines, and sipping wine as the sun kissed the horizon. it seemed both were meant to meet, meant to heal, meant to fall in love, at a time when they despised the world the most but needed companionship the most. months passed, and the internet could only speculate about adeline's whereabouts. little did they know she was no longer the same woman. she was in love, completely head over heels, in love with a guy who knew her for who she was, not the superstar she was painted to be.

adeline and arthur decided to try the public life once again, but this time united. with a bizarre twist of fate, the same public, who once hated them, welcomed them back warmly. the internet which had once been a cause of their isolation, now flooded with wishes and love, celebrating the very bond they despised before. after all, adeline had found love in the most unexpected place, with the most unexpected guy, but at the perfect time. it was her disappearance that led her to find true love and acceptance. it wasn't an easy ride, but it was worth it. the american actress, who was once hated, made a spectacular comeback, not alone, but with the love of her life by her side.

🍊 theodora cohen. theo’s heart feels too large for her chest sometimes. she has so much love in her heart for everyone; it’s the core of who she is and why she wants to help people. sometimes her softness and kindness can be naivety, but in all things her heart is always in the right place.

FIRST a Lola wip that is technically apart of a long fic wip that is. Rough. It's going rough, need to slow down the pace by a hundred. Pray for me :">

Warning(s): Canon-typical violence, Lola saw the copter go down and chose violence, shoot first have rational thought later, tries to pull a bullet out of her shoulder but shit is slippery, no one is being niceys to her rn....

The bullet lands between his eyes, tearing skin and cracking through the thin layer of skull. Red blossoms like a flower on his face as he falls and Lola's eyes skitter away as shouts and rushed footsteps come from the buildings. Peggies flood out like roaches—and that's just what they are. Lola knows it, soulless, brainless, roaches with no direction and only one goal. And she was the exterminator, each bullet and each body that dropped another act of good service she'd be praised for when she and her friends were all safe and sound back in the sheriff's department.

Staci would pat her on the shoulder and Joey would raise her bottle in cheers, Dean and James would lift her up on their shoulders and walk her around the office as everyone applauded her bravery and saving the day. That's how it would go down.

She smiles at the thought, as more bodies drop and her clip runs out. She races forward to one with a rifle, hitting the barrel upward and feeling the heat as it fired and she rammed her shoulder into the owners sternum. The woman grunts and falls back into the dirt, Lola steals the rifle from her hands and brings the butt of it down onto her cheek, hearing a brutal crack with the force before feeling a sharp sting in her shoulder. She hisses and whips around, rolling and falling onto her ass as she aims at the offender who held a gun aimed right between her eyes. She gets the shot off first and he falls in a mangled heap on the ground.

Reaching around Lola expects blood, and there was a lot of it, but a small bullet was poking out of her skin and she grunts as her fingers slip over it, trying to find purchase. She'd pull it out if she could only get a grip on it.

"Don't hit anywhere vital! The Father wants them all alive!"

A disembodied voice shouts from within the chaos, distant as Lola's head becomes heavy and dizzy. She uses the rifle to push herself to her feet, shuffling to cover as more bullets whiz past her. She shakes her head and readies the rifle for another shot. She was the exterminator, a small bite wouldn't dissuade her from finishing the job. Even as her limbs begin to tingle, she rises from her hiding spot and fires off more shots, they were sloppier than before and only two bodies dropped from her four wayward bullets.

Her grey eyes drift at the sound of familiar voices and her body goes stiff at the sight of Joey and Staci. A gaggle of peggies hold onto them, dragging them kicking and screaming across the dirt. Dogs run past them, big and angry and headed straight for Lola. Those weren't roaches, she whines, eyes flickering between the animals and her friends. Joey's eyes meet hers, tearstained face an infuriating and painful sight and Lola can't tell if she screams for her to run or help. It had to be help, she had to be screaming for help.

Lola pushes her body forward again, her limbs uncoordinated as she forces herself into a run, jumping onto one of the ugly benches and jumping over the gnashing teeth of the dogs. Her boots hit the dirt and another sting of pain blooms but this time from her calf. She gasps but keeps going, raising the rifle and taking a shot at one of the men holding Joey's arm. She gets his shoulder, Joey elbows him in the face and she falls to the dirt. Lola grins and cheers weakly, happy she gave her friend an opening. But it's all short lived as a blunt force makes impact with the back of her head.

And I've got a thousand art wips (on top of the comms i'm workin on lmao) so here's a peak at a Single Parent Crossover AU piece, the peggie dean wip, deputy squad short comic, anya illustration I fear will never be finished annnnnd a set of paintings of the Seeds I'm working on (Jacob's is already done, these are taking so long to do I may perish)
