revamping my notion and feeling like I AM GOD

I am finally in my final year of my undergraduate honours literature and arts joint major degree with a history minor. It's been quite a wild ride and today is the last day of my summer break and sadly, i was away the whole last trimester from the studyblr.

so this trimester with my capstone thesis underway I have decided to build a consistent routine, which is super super difficult for someone like me who shitposts about having a nonexistent sleep schedule on her main.

but I am here with my revamped notion that screams me and I just hope I live a healthy lifestyle the upcoming three months with a healthy emotional and mental headspace.

THERE'S STUDIO GHIBLI AND BTS REFERENCES IN IT!! the dashboard actually has those eating gifs, I made it like a cafe inspired from a YouTube vlogger called christine and look at my pretty uni page setup too, ugh pastels my love

i worked super hard on these pages, thematically. AND I AM SO PROUD. I am taking really cool courses in my next trimester:

1. literary canon (do you the ao3 tag as a header I love my brain aah)

2. long form journalism (really excited for this one because I wanna write freelance stuff on some stuff as a personal side project)

3. concepts in aesthetics ii (art history babyyy, and with less modules on dead white people this time hopefully)

4. maritime history (please tell me the stories of the ocean cause I am in love with the siren of history, ugh ew)

5. modern indian history (by fave prof, good class numbers like less people yayy more attention)

New Nine thought. You know how he has a track record for leaving the resistance behind in or even during fights, how he doesn't really care abt people he doesn't know personally and how he only thinks about himself first, how selfish that could be? But it makes sense and one can't really blame him because you gotta remember that he only had himself to rely on in an actively hostile environment his whole short life.

Fast forward once he takes in how Sonic's whole group operates and realizes each of them have basically zero self-preservation and throw themselves under a truck to save a butterfly, which just boggles him. He does his part yea, but no way he's risking his life for no good reason, it's pointless and reckless. Plus the amount of arguments and bewildered stares he gets over this confuses him even further.

Except he doesn't notice that their self-sacrificial attitude is slowly starting to rub off on him, if so he'd deny it, up until it hits him that he's halfway into rescuing a random guy endangered during one of Eggman's attacks.

He feels just a bit more secure about throwing himself in avoidable danger when he knows there's someone backing him up, y'know.

fic idea i had a couple nights ago based on "take it out on me" by thousand foot krutch.

"Kyouka, I need you to go."

"I've seen injuries, it can't be that bad," Kouyka says calmly, peering over Atsushi's shoulder. Her actions betray her, though; her calm composure tightens and tenses at the sight of the bloodied mafioso currently bleeding out on Atsushi's floor. Or, well, their shared floor. Her grip tightens on her plush bunny and part of her will always be afraid of hellhounds.

"Kyouka." Maybe it's the stern tone. Maybe it's the easy out. Maybe it's a hundred other things - but Kyouka takes the offer, and her knuckles are white as she holds the bunny. "I'll be with Kunikida-san. Please... please check in with me."

"I'll do my best," Atsushi smiles, strained, and forgets to even wave her good-bye as he slams the door closed, intent on getting her vision away from the red that is currently spilling all over the floor and the snappy, irritable Rashoumon making it difficult for Atsushi to get close, the last line of defense before its master falls unconscious. Of course this had to happen tonight. Of course, because Atsushi hasn't been busy enough.

He supposes he'll patch the hellhound back together. There is already blood on Atsushi's hands; he need not add to it with senseless refusal of help. He's sure Yosano doesn't like half of her patients either - and he'd call her, except he thinks that Akutagawa and Yosano would tear each other to shreds. Yosano would win, and Atsushi would not have any accomplishments to his name anymore.
