@navigating-through-gray doing this in a separate post rq, but thank you for the ask!

i had a lot of plans for by nature — for one,, the reveal to the village that ranboo and dream were rovengers. it would have been a fic in three parts,, one where they were settling in,, another where they were just chilling, and the last where the reveal actually happened. it would have been when the village was attacked by something,, i was thinking a bear? bc it couldn’t be rovengers(didn’t want the old colony to find them, plus i already stated earlier that rovengers who thought the same way as the old colony were rare),, and humans would just bring up all sorts of problems.

dream and ranboo would have shifted to protect the village, their new colony,, but dream would have gotten hurt in the process.

long story short, they help dream heal, and, after the two tell them the truth, the village accepts them as one of their own. (tubbo, dream, and ranboo also find out that sbi are friends with a human(and that phil himself is married to her)).

(was also playing with the idea of maybe techno finding out before the big reveal? idk-)

after that fic,, would have been another taking place back at the colony. basically sam gets hurt and sapnap, george, and ant find him, and offer to let him stay temporarily at the colony. sam agrees, and they head over.

(more stuff under the cut, warning for hard vore mentions and accidental (and to a lesser extent, intentional) dehumanization)

what sam didn’t know, was that.. this colony eats borrowers..

and sam currently had a borrower in his possession — his partner, ponk.

so sam has to try and hide ponk while he heals from his injuries, until he’s able to be let go.

one day, sapnap accidentally sees ponk, but sam manages to play off the borrower as his pet, ignoring how sick he feels saying that.

luckily, sapnap buys the excuse.

meanwhile- karl ends up getting captured by borrowers, causing quackity to go and try to save him.

time passes, and karl manages to escape on his own, somehow-

only to get immediately captured once again, by sapnap.

at first sapnap just keeps karl as a pet of sorts, thinking, ‘hey, if sam had a pet, why can’t i?’

until, days later, he realizes that karl is sapient. uh oh.

karl is probably injured, for some reason, so, while combating his mini-crisis, he ends up going to sam for help, the only other rovenger he knows that could possibly help.

something something miscommunication, blah blah sam tries to subtly get karl away from sapnap, blah blah stuff happens and they both figure out the truth.

i never fleshed out what happened next, but basically- at some point, quackity reluctantly joins them, and sapnap gathers george and ant, tells them the truth about borrowers, and together, they all escape.

the next big fic would have been all of them reuniting,,, but i never fully fleshed out what happened there, either,, aside from certain scenes that wouldn’t make sense without context(that i don’t have).

i also had an idea for a lil fun festival fic,, and was also playing with the idea of /r beeduo? sad that i never got to that bit,, rip.

a last thing- was thinking of a sort of prison break arc, where the gang, plus some strangers, head back to the pandora colony,, and break all the borrowers out.

‘some strangers’, being puffy and foolish, btw-

never came up with a puffy design i liked,, but i’m real happy with this foolish design! basically he’s a hybrid of the demon-rovenger and the centaur-rovenger.

okay so severance 30daysmp au (as in the 30!guys are going into severance universe) vague spoilers for severance tv show obviously and i'm going to put this under the cut but this is the cleaned up version:

for this i would like to state that all i'm doing is taking character's roles in the plot that 1) expand the universe and 2) match with the 30!characters' quirks. none of the severance characters' relationships or personalities are being adapted into the au bc it wouldn't work and would be kinda weird. by "role in the plot" i mean them as a narrative tool (connector/instigator/etc) not what they actually do in the plot via beats - bc it will be the 30!characters' personalities, relationships, etc that are being emphasised in the au. and lastly: some plot elements will be adapted but this is mostly just me playing around in the world

MDR: Macrodata Refinement

OnD: Optics and Design

The "innies" don't remember anything about their selves outside the office ("outies") and the outies don't remember anything that happens inside the office - which is whatever the fuck they're doing for work but also low level psychological torture (break room is a higher level of that. it's hard to explain idk if "torture" is really the right word for the day to day stuff either)

Tommy (using the demigod 30!tommy hc) is Mrs. Cobel/Milchick -> interacts with the rest of them and tries to have a "i'm just like you!" and "haha this is all fun and chill!" vibe but he is part of the reason they're there/makes decisions/will stop them from trying to break out

Jack is the goat department guy -> isolated bc he killed a guy (Charlie lol). MDR and OnD both think that he was from the other department and tried to take over their department. They don't know he's in the goat department (btw i have no clue what is up with this department don't ask) but ppl could potentially stumble across him

Tubbo is Ms Casey -> ms casey is the wellness director/counsellor. i assigned tubbo here bc canonically ms casey is only awake for a short amount of time (the 30 min wellness sessions) which fits with Tubbo's 3hr limit. Ms Casey is dead on the outside (we'll see what that's about in s2 hopefully lol) and i'll say same for Tubbo.

Ranboo is Helly (instigator/newcomer) with some inspiration from Mark's backstory -> him and tubbo used to be friends and then tubbo died and ranboo ended up taking the job here. probably won't go down the Helena Eagan route here for his outside guy idk. but yeah he doesn't remember who tubbo is and tubbo doesn't remember who he is. tommy assigns ranboo a lot of wellness sessions bc ranboo has difficulty settling in (not quite the same extent as helly i don't want to write that)

Phil is kinda Mark with some inspo from Irving's plot -> the head of MDR, the person trying to help Ranboo get settled, but also the connection to OnD

Wilbur is the head of OnD -> so kind of Burt. him and Phil become friends and hang out a bit. idk what to do about the fact there's more OnD members?? maybe they're just all bg character idk o(-( maybe Charlie never died and he's in OnD too

Sneeg -> takes the role of Dylan in the sense that he's super skeptical of OnD (due to them thinking OnD tried to take over the other departments and kill ppl) and isn't too happy when he realises Phil is hanging out with Wilbur. idk i feel like that's a bit more important and adds a little bit more to MDR's overall balance and vibe than OnD having another character (OnD's only "major" character is Burt and he's a minor character. like only one other OnD person is named and she rarely talks)

Anyway yeah idk if i'll write anything with this but it was fun to sort this out ^_^ i might write little oneshots in the world and just post them here for funsies. (also my understanding of 30daysmp is a lot influenced by nightmare-rivulet's "lungs of the universe" fic bc i can't remember 30daysmp all that well kekw)

Hello Dreamm smp fandom

Today I bring you a theory about or beloved memory boy, Ranboo. From recent streams we know "Dream" as in the other voice of Ranboo told him that he and the actual Dream had been friends for years now, best friends right?

Ranboo may have a bad memory, but he does try his best to remember people who are his friends as we all have seen, so it's weird he wouldn't remember Dream. Now there are two reasons for this.

A) Dream is lying

Dream simply wants to manipulate Ranboo and play with his mind but with further evidence like the books he signed to go talk to Dream, we can assume this option is incorrect.

B) Ranboo was created by Dream.

Now hold on a minute i know how crazy this sounds but bare with me okay? Ranboo has been the only character (besides Ranbob, his descendant) that is a hybrid in the SMP. Techno and Fundy do not count as they are the whole mob not a half and half like Ranboo is.

We know his black half is an enderman as he has confirmed this plenty of times and his silk touch hands are just more proof it, however, he does not remember his family. This is canonical as Techno has asked him about it and Ranboo replied "If i do i can't remember" which again, Ranboo tries hard to remember people he has relationships with, you would think that would include his parents onto that list.

Although Ranboo has confirmed on tik tok his other half is a ghast as in skin design, it wasn't clear if that applies to the canon, with the present nightmare about the prison visit we can assume the other half is Dream or somehow related to him. The question is, how is that even possible? Because i doubt Dream and an enderman did their business for Ranboo to be the offspring of that.

My theory is that Dream created Ranboo artificially mixing his own dna with an enderman's which gave the result to our beloved half and half memory boy. Creating him artificially would explain why Dream claims they've known each other for a long while, why they are such close friends, why Ranboo goes into an autopilot state to do Dream's biding. Because that's what Dream created him for, not only that but it could also explain why Ranbob idolizes Dream so much, without Dream he wouldn't exist, from his perspective Dream is the good guys that allowed him to live.

And you may be wondering where the fuck did this idea come from? What am i basing on to claim this theory? Well, glad you asked! During one of Tubbo's streams where Ranboo was showing him his silk touch hands Tubbo asks the following.

"How come when i mine it, look it goes to dirt. But when you do it doesn't."

To which Ranboo replies and i quote

"I just like the grass block man. I don't want to be tested on again, my goodness please."

and when i heard that the first time it stuck out to me, it seemed so weird to me that he replied with that when the first sentence was enough of an answer. Upon discovering this new abilities, his first reaction to someone questioning it was that they were going to test him, like one would do with an experiment.

We don't know Dream's house, even if the homeless meme from Techno is quite funny, i find it hard to believe he doesn't have a house considering all the materials he had to make potions, gapples, armor, etc. He wouldn't just keep that in random chests, he would keep them safe in a place no one would know, his own house. Which for all we know could be a lab themed sort of house where he created Ranboo.

Not only that but Ranboo's arrival AND his interaction with Tommy was what set off Dream's biggest plan, set the clingy duo apart so he could gain control over Tommy, it was Ranboo who was with him, Ranboo who remained quiet during the trial where he could've taken blame, granted Tommy covered up for him but he still could've said something, Ranboo who said he had bad memory and didn't recall the situation only to say he did remember because it was an important event.

I believe Dream made Ranboo to do his biding knowing things must come to an end, why would anyone suspect someone new specially when that new person kept forgetting who he is. Dream made it so Ranboo couldn't remember him and what he went through test after test because that's what was convenient to the Dream we know now, a Dream that has attachment to no one, not even his own creation.

This theory is all over the place and i can't see all the streams so there is probably information that debunks it or that i got wrong, which if i did feel free to correct me. But i feel this could be a possibility to explain why Ranboo is the only hybrid, why Dream has so much control over him, his inability to remember any family, if he was created artificially then he didn't have one to begin with, his clear nervousness when testing him becomes a thing, he only gets nervous at the mention of it and then he seems to calm down during the test as nothing "triggering" happens.

This was Today's ramble, a crack theory that may or may not be correct like all theories. Tomorrow? Who knows.
