the kids' online safety act

i've gotten a few messages recently asking me to talk about the kids' online safety act, or KOSA, and because i have sort of a platform, i think it's important i use it to try to do some good

first of all, don't let its name fool you.

i'm no expert on the whole thing, but this video here has a very good explanation of it. long story short, this act could threaten minority groups such as black, brown, queer, and others, as well as affect the ability to organize online, among other things.

now, i don't need to tell you, but this is bad.

furthermore, the anonymity the internet provides will be killed, because people will need to prove their age by uploading their government ids.

everything. will. be. watched.

Straight up foul that I’ve been living in a constant “I don’t have the time to draw as much as I wish I could” for — for five or six fucking years straight. The only reason I could draw enough before then was because I regularly stayed up until 1-3 AM drawing. I always look jealously back at those times. At this point, it might just be me!?? I don’t make time for drawing because I feel like I have to finish so-and-so projects first to really relax and take it easy via drawing but the projects keep coming forever. I need to fucking change my whole life schedule
