I spent a lovely day on Saturday supporting the 'Learn to Knit a Curlew Hat' at The Sill. Using beautiful wool from Jamieson & Smith and a pattern designed for the RSPB, the group developed new skills to deepen their knitting progress. This part of the Forest was around half-way through the Forest Drive. Completely untouched and a jump across a ditch, with no-one around for miles was eerily quiet, cool and damp.
