IT'S FINALLY DONE! :D Here's an 8 page comic of one of the very very beginning scenes of The Hollowridge Disaster: the moment Knife and Adri meet Dianne.

Having done this comic means a lot to me for a myriad of reasons, but the main ones are that I really wanted to get better at paneling and do more interesting texture work. And, this is also both a homage to my older HR comics, and my (successful!) attempt at getting back into making comics for this story, so it truly feels like I'm in my prime with it and it's finally somewhere that I am immensely proud of :] so please enjoy this scene in quite literally all it's glory!

[Disclaimer: this is a standalone scene (of a larger story), but it's not the beginning of a long form comic. Currently I have no plans of doing that, but I would like to do more of these short ones! ]

girl dad touya 🥺 will always be my weakness !! i feel like. that's his lil best friend. you're trying to get her to sleep in her own bed, but the minute you leave to go to work, she's grabbing her pillow and her stuffed animal and coming down the hall and he's just waiting for her 🥺 she crawls into bed and snuggles right up to him and he's so warm that she's just OUT. and they wake up a few hours later and go get something sweet for breakfast or whatever she wants !! 🥺

and he is definitely the kind of dad to like. she wants to play with something on the playground and he is subtly pushing the kid off LOL finding a reason for him to give it up or saying like, "hey, wouldn't you rather play with this rock i found ?" until it's free and he can give it to his daughter airheuq and sometimes he'll say some out of pocket shit to these snot nosed brats, like, "i'll be under your bed when you get home and i'll grab you by the ankles and drag you under and your mommy and daddy won't even notice" LMAOOO he's the WORST i love him

My friends, idk how, but im gonna figure out a way to share my final presentation with you guys for a class after I finish it. Because I'll be damned if I'm gonna be this passionate about this thing, do all the research, make a ppt AND cardboard tri-fold, and present this at a "Research Symposium" for 2 hours to whoever stops at my booth during finals week to not share with the people I like most 😤

Basically for the project we have to take a person or event and give background on them before analyzing them through a Social Psychology lense (bc the class is social psychology lol). AND GODS DO I LOVE SHIT LIKE THISSSSS. I will not be sharing what event I chose for two reason: 1) I want ya'll to read and learn about it through my post when I post it 😌 and 2) It's a REALLY obscure event from what I've gathered (like I barely have 5 sources for references and one's ONLY in german) and I doubt many would know what I was talking about.
