Hi Nero and/or Scorpio! May I ask for either of your thoughts on some of the slightly more unpopular bleach characters (nnoitra, muramasa, akon, kenpachi and shinji) and cuddling please?
Ok, I had a lot of fun writing this! Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Akon:
He LOVES cuddles. But getting the time to enjoy them with you is a rare thing indeed. More often than not, the only time the two of you get to spend enough time together, for cuddles to be a thing, is when the two of you have finished working for the day... and being a high-ranking member of squad 12, that doesn't happen as often, or for as long, as either of you would like. When you do get the chance to cuddle, it's more than likely that he is asleep almost as soon as his head touches the pillow. That said, though, he always ensures that the two of you are snuggled close to each other and comfortable first.
Kenpachi:
Surprisingly, this big brute gives the best cuddles. He is always warm, and even though he may not show it often, he knows how to be gentle. And when the two of you are alone, he is nothing but gentle; he'll wrap his arms around you carefully but tight enough so you feel safe and protected. He loves to have you lay on him while the two of you sleep, whether that be just resting your head on his chest or lying completely on top of him, it brings him comfort and helps him to relax after a long day. Usually, he will absentmindedly run his fingertips over your shoulder or back as the two of you drift off to sleep, something that he finds just as soothing as you do.
Muramasa:
Especially at the start, he's mistrusting when you want to cuddle with him. Why would you want to? What is your goal here? He has trust issues, unsurprisingly, so it will take a lot of patience on your part before he's willing to let you near him in that sense. When he does, you both quickly realise just how touch starved he is: he will all but melt into your arms, snuggling as close as is physically possible and refuses to let go of you. He loves it when you rub his back during cuddles and will return the favour by idly tracing imaginary patterns over your own with his long nails.
Nnoitra:
Cuddles are something that you will have to initiate. Initially, he will act like he hates it and will likely laugh and mock you for even suggesting it... but eventually, he will cave and allow you to hold onto him, just so long as you don't get in his way. He will still claim that it is a major inconvenience, however, and complain nonstop about it... until he's asleep, that is. Then his arms will subconsciously snake their way around you and pull you closer to his chest, his chin resting on top of your head.
Shinji:
There is no way that cuddles between the two of you won't result in a tangled mess of limbs. He is somewhat clingy and loves to be close to you. He doesn't mind being the big or little spoon, though when he is the one holding you, he feels like he can protect you more easily. He loves to lay by your side, his arms around your waist and his legs tangled with your own. He will nuzzle and kiss your neck in his sleep, so be warned!

Gin:
He's very mysterious, even around you.
His use heavy use of sarcasm and mocking politeness makes it hard for you to tell just exactly how he feels.
Right before, Aizen's betrayal to the soul society...he pulls you aside.
His large hands come up to your face and cup your cheeks.
"Look at me, please." he demands, pulling your face towards his.
You gaze into his icy blue eyes full of sadness and regret.
You open your mouth to speak, but Gin eagerly presses his lips against yours.
His thumb brushes against your soft skin and his icy silver hair tickles your forehead.
Gin pulls away from you, wearing a warm smile on his face.
"I am truly sorry, Y/N," he whispers, placing a soft kiss on your forehead before disappearing.
Shinji:
He's such a tease.
Lingering touches and sarcastic comments whispered into your ear.
Hell, you're practically already dating, but one day Shinji will wrap his arm around your shoulder.
He'll pull you closer and lean his head down, his lips brushing against your earlobe.
"You know...I like you, Y/N." he whisper with a seductive tone that makes your knees go weak.
Shinji steals a quick glance around, checking if there's anybody around.
He'll then dip his head and lock his lips with yours.
Uryu:
My poor man would be so flustered and stumbling over his words.
Uryu would meet up with after school and make sure it's just you two.
"I-I really like you!" he stutters out, squeezing his eyes shut.
He's honestly really scared to see how you react.
Uryu slowly flutters his eyes open as he hears your laughter ringing through his eardrums.
At first he's really confused as to why you're literally laughing his bright red face.
"I'm sorry for laughing, but that was really cute." you comment, before cupping his cheeks and pressing your lips on his.
Uryu's eyes widen and his heart pounds against his chest.
Yumichikia:
He's pretty confident in himself and his feelings.
Yumichikia makes you also feel confident, confident that you're beautiful and special to him.
You can feel his eyes burn a hole through you as he gazes at you with admiration and love.
Since Yumichikia is confident, he just goes right up to you after your soul reaper duties.
"You're beautiful, Y/N." he mumbles out, standing behind you.
You spin around and face him, a serious expression written across his face.
"What?" you stutter out as Yumichikia marches over towards you.
"You are absolutely stunning." he comments and a smile tugs on your face.
You grab onto the collar of his uniform and eagerly press a kiss to his soft, pink lips.
"I could say the exact same thing about you." you whisper against his lips.
Nnoitra:
Definitely a crude man, but he tones down his behavior around you...sometimes.
You're both on a mission, walking the deserted Hueco Mundo when his shoulder nudges yours.
"I'm not really sure why I like you." he comments, rolling his eyes with annoyance.
"Excuse me?" you scoff out, your eyes widening.
Nnoitra's eyes glue onto yours and he stops in his tracks, grabbing onto your arm.
He leans his head down until your lips are inches apart.
You can even feel his hot breath on your lips, causing them to tingle.
"I could kiss you. Would you like that?" he whispers, his lips lingering over yours.
Your stomach twists into uneasy knots and your eyes flicker up to his.
Nnoitra towers over you and you slowly bob your head.
Although, you squeeze your eyes shut and wait for Nnoitra to press his lips on yours.
"Not yet." he whispers into your ear.
Ulquiorra:
Honestly, he had to question himself for a very long time.
He has a hard time understanding feelings and had to ask a few other arrancars.
"I feel something for you." are the words that leave his lips.
You kind of just stand there, taking it all in.
You didn't know that Ulquiorra could feel anything...especially for you.
"I feeling something for you, too." you assure him, but Ulquiorra doesn't really know what that means.
You both stand in the defining silence until you step forward.
You grab onto his sleeve and press your lips to his cheek.
Ulquiorra's stomach starts to flip and for the first time, he can feel his heart thud against his chest.
"Do it again."

Nesting urges
Summary: After a talk with Nel about nesting instincts, you decide you'll make one for Grimmjow.
Fluff/reader has powers/gender-neutral reader
Hollows nest. The fact blew your mind the second it registered. But thinking about it calmly, it was tremendously funny. You couldn't picture someone like Grimmjow gathering small branches and crystals around Hueco Mundo without cracking up.
"But he's a cat, isn't he? So, what if he gathers yarn-like materials?" you put in excitedly as you walked through the white desert beside her.
Nel chuckled. "It doesn't work that way. Besides, there's not much here that we can use."
She lowered her gaze, and you felt a pang of guilt. Nel was so easy to be around that you often forgot what she was.
"What do you er- use? I mean, usually."
"It's different for each of us. Some low-ranked hollows make their nest by spitting a mix of bones, branches, and gastric juices. They gather everything together to make colonies with multiple tunnels." She said, trying to ignore the memory of Nnoitra annihilating one of those.
"What about the Espadas?"
"The instinct remains, but we were lucky to evolve. I never heard of an Espada who nested."
"Because it would look weak, I presume?" you ventured.
Nel seemed to ponder, after which she explained that nesting in a place full of many potential threats wasn't exactly comfortable.
The Espadas were supposed to have a sense of companionship. Or so she heard Aizen say. However, given the times that Nnoitra tried to fight her, not to mention what he and Szayel did to her, Nel never thought about doing such a thing in Las Noches. And you guessed no other Espada either.
"It must be awful to crave something you can't have."
"We're used to it."
"You shouldn't be," you whispered, but Nel didn't hear you. She was busy waving to Pesche and Dondochaca, who eagerly greeted her back in the distance.

Making a nest for Grimmjow could be the best way to give another step in your relationship with him, yet, at the same time, giving him something so personal could end abysmally wrong. The idea roamed your skull for days before you decided to give in.
According to Nel, the first thing on the list was to find a small place. You had the perfect one: a wardrobe spacious enough to fit him. Step two was decorations: You placed multiple layers of sheets, blankets, and quilts aside from a couple of jackets you stole from him. It wound up comfy enough to nap there.
After all the hard work, you only needed to find the right way of presenting your gift to him.

Grimmjow slammed the door open. His gaze darted across the room. Empty. He moved to check the next with a huff. Where the hell were you? The dead head outside Las Noches wouldn't last forever.
Grimmjow didn't know when bringing you trophies of his hunts started to be a habit, but it didn't matter. Now he enjoyed bragging about his strength before you too much to consider stopping.
It seemed like yesterday when Aizen told him he was to guard you: a human with an ability to create untraceable portals between dimensions, typically by using mirrors or other reflecting surfaces as windows to see or pass through. A truly magnificent power to spy on his enemies, Aizen said. A pain in the ass, Grimmjow thought.
The times he had to threaten you to refrain from escaping were too many to count. Despite that, you never matched his violent energy, nor did you return any of his insults. You were stupidly chill all the time; Obsessed with showing him cool things about the world of the living, and as it never failed to entertain him, Grimmjow wound up guiding you through the best parts of Hueco Mundo in return. Time flew when you were around, and Grimmjow felt something close to enjoyment in your company.
But fuck, even if now he didn't despise you, your power was still a pain in the ass.

You gasped at the familiar spiritual pressure approaching. Grimmjow was supposed to be out, hunting far deep into the desert. You shut the small door just when he kicked the room door open.
" 'The hell are you doing here?" he shot with a beyond annoyed tone.
"I- um, I was about to-”
"Who told you you could come back to the human world?" he interrupted.
"Come on. Aizen's not around anymore. I’m- free to come and go as I please,” you said while shrugging, smiling light-heartedly.
Grimmjow gazed down at you for a split second before turning his head. He chuffed. "So what if you are? You still need to open your damn mouth to give me a heads up."
“Alright, I’ll keep it in mind,” you eased.
He grimaced. "Move, we're going back."
He didn’t wait for a response. Grimmjow grabbed your wrist as he began pulling you forward. He didn't like it when you spent time in the human world. It could give you stupid ideas, like never returning to Hueco Mundo.
“No, wait! I want to show you something!”
Grimmjow was not in the best mood for human stuff. His battle prize must have vanished. He wanted nothing more than to go back and bury himself deep in the sand.
“I said we’re going back.”
It didn’t matter how much you twisted, his grip was too strong to resist. Your feet slipped on the floor as he dragged you.
“Please, I made something for you.”
Grimmjow didn’t falter.
“If you let me show you, I promise I’ll quit asking favors for a while!”
He stopped. Grimmjow glanced at you over his shoulder.
“I promise,” you reiterated.
"Fine," he said before letting go of you. Grimmjow stuffed his hands inside his pockets. He leaned his back over the wall. "Make it quick."
You nodded, turning to open the closet door. Grimmjow froze when the scent hit his nose. His gaze went crazy, darting from one spot to the other. What the hell did you do?
“I found out that this is important to hollows. I know I’m always giving you human stuff you don’t want, so I thought now I could try giving you a hollow thing. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to.”
Damn, even when it was painfully evident that you were missing a fucking screw, you always managed to give him this revolting mix of unwanted feelings. It irked him.
You observed his reaction closely. A part of you expected wrath. At some point, you pictured a cruel scene where he destroyed it as the worst scenario. Yet, Grimmjow tensed. You resolved maybe it was too personal of a subject for you to be standing there watching.
“Anyway. I’ll pack some things so we can go back.”
You only left the room for half a minute. When you came back, your stunned gaze froze over the scene: Grimmjow's body spread across the small nest you made for him, tummy showing, arms crossed under his head as one of his legs rested over the other one's knee.
"What are you looking at?" Grimmjow asked, his eyes stuck on the wardrobe's top.
You grinned. "Nothing. Hmm, does this mean you like it?"
He scoffed.
"This means I'm not giving you a reason to ask for weird shit for a while. So you better keep your word." Grimmjow stated. His face, however, entirely betrayed his words: his eyes were hooded as he breathed slowly. There was no trace of frowns.
You held your smile with a softened gaze. "I will. Hey, I have to run a couple of errands. We can return to Hueco Mundo when I'm done-"
"No. It'll be a pain in the ass if I have to go looking for you again. Come," he pointed beside him.
It took you aback. "To lay with you? I thought it'd be better if you had some privacy."
"Fuck that. I don't need it. If you make me do ridiculous shit, you won't be spared from having to partake. That way we'll be even, so shut up and come here."
Your heart throbbed. You had shared space before but never like this. Perhaps it was that Grimmjow wasn't comfortable having his corner in a place where it smelled so much like you. Or maybe this was just the hollow way of asking for cuddles.
Be that as it may, the prospect of sharing the nest with him made you tingle.
“Alright, since you ordered it,” you muttered.
Grimmjow pressed his back against the wall to make room next to him. You settled there, leaning your head hesitantly over his shoulder. His Hierro was down. You nuzzled into him, and he let you. The more he did this with you, the easier it turned to let his guard down, as stupid as it sounded.
Grimmjow brushed his mouth on your hair before taking a deep breath. You moved to meet his gaze. Deep, intense, filled with something you couldn’t place. Your fingertips moved to grace the scar over his chest, gently tracing it down near his tummy hole. He hooked your hand harshly.
"Watch it," he warned.
"I know. I won't stick my hand in, don't worry."
"Good, cuz' it'll get swallowed away."
"What?! Really?"
The idea of your hand disappearing inside him startled you enough to try pushing him off you. Grimmjow let out a short, loud laugh. You gaped, frowning.
"Fuck you,"
Grimmjow settled his head comfortably over your head, nestling close to you, ignoring the part of him screaming he shouldn't be giving in to these weird pleasing sensations. To hell with that. This was what he wanted and what he wanted, he would take.
"Yeah, fuck you too."

Continuation of this chance Christmas visit with @despairforme here:
Adelha leans down to pick Wesson up and give him ear rubs. The puppy giving her gloved hands kisses as thanks for Adelha to walk with Nnoitra into the flower shop. Which is not decorated in Christmas decorations.
The interior of the flower shop is one of comfy simplicity. Soft brown bricks and polished wood floors to have just a few scuffs and claw marks. Probably from Wesson wandering about. Piano music wafting through the shop for it to feel calm and peaceful. Adelha walking towards the counter with Wesson in her arms to be wagging his tail and enjoying the snuggles. Nnoitra spotting a very fluffy grey kitten dozing on the counter to be purring in sleep.
Adelha sets Wesson down into a comfy basket with a few chew bones for the puppy to begin munching on a bone. The kitten giving a much too big yawn for such a little creature to stretch out and then mew at Adelha. Who gives the kitten gentle pets and chin rubs for the creature to purr. “Nnoitra. This little waif of a fluff ball is Aqua. My current owner and the princess of this domain. My mum used to say that we do not own our cats, but that they chose to own us instead.”
The kitten soon looks up at Nnoitra for him to see a pair of vibrant blue eyes. Ones that put the blue sky to shame as the kitten mews at Nnoitra in greeting. The kitten swishing her tail to watch Nnoitra with a curious gaze as Adelha gets out a container of what looks like melting chocolate. Her smile one of warm delight as she takes out a pot to also fetch a portable heater to begin making real hot chocolate with cream in it. “Feel free to relax and come around the counter to get closer to the space heater under the counter. Since it is close to holiday time, and has no caffeine in it, we should enjoy some hot chocolate. But beware the fluffs. Aqua tends to steal attention as well as snuggles.”

Tatsuki kept fussing over her hair while Halibel applied make-up. Rangiku was going over 20 emergency plans along with Riruka and Orihime couldn't help but smile.
"If you get nerveous just say so and we'll shoo everyone away." Halibel told her. "Cyan and Tesla have the exits all cleared and I don't even have to ask Nnoitra to fight whoever wants to get violent."
She giggled. "That's okay Hali. I specifically had Kenpachi seated away from him to stop the fights. And I'll be fine. This time I'm marrying my soulmate. I can feel it."
After a failed wedding she thought she'd be feeling much more nerveous, that she would be second guessing everything. But there was nothing to stress her now, since Ulquiorra had proven time and time again his love for her, and she hoped that she had also proved herself to him.
"There, all better. Now, let's get you married."

"Yer a fuckin penguin. I don't know how anyone would do this." Nnoitra muttered as he finished tying Ulquiorra's tie.
Chad was readying everything in the hall along with Szayel, who took on wedding planner duties. Starkk was awake for the first time ever, and took to welcoming the guests before the ceremony started.
"You say that yet you plan to give a ring to Halibel come Spring."
"Shhh, she has ears everywhere! Pipe down!"
Ulquiorra smiled upon seeing his reflection. Everything looked perfect. "Thanks, I'm certain Orihime will appreciate everyone's efforts in making us look our best."
"Don't get sappy on me. Just promise to call and visit."
He would've hugged his annoying roommate had Starkk not burst into the room. "Schiffer, we got a situation."

Had it happened a year ago, she would've ran out again, for the circumstances were eerily similar. But this wasn't her nightmare first wedding and she wasn't alone this time. Tatsuki held onto her as they were both about to enter the hall when they spotted Ichigo and Ulquiorra talking.
"Kurosaki, unless there was last minute change that I wasn't made aware of, you're not a part of this wedding. So please explain to me quickly why you've asked to see me."
"I asked for you because I know Inoue would've refused. I'm not here for the ceremony, I'm just here to bring this."
He handed Ulquiorra an envelope. "What is this?"
"A scholarship voucher. Inoue just has to take it to the University and she'll have a pedagogy scholarship paid in full."
"Kurosaki, I may bring this to her but I doubt she'll accept it. Money was never what she wanted from you, and you know it."
"I do. And I know that a million apologies won't make up for what I did. But if anything else I hope this can help fix some of the damage I caused.
If you want, tell Inoue that I'm sorry and that I hope that someday we may go back to being friends but that even if we the rest of our lives without meeting again tell her she was the best friend, and girlfriend a guy could ask for. That I was wrong for taking her for granted, that I wish her all the best, and that in happy she has you to take care of her.
Sorry for the trouble, have a good wedding."
He left as quick as he'd arrived. Once they were alone, Tatsuki came out hiding and approached Ulquiorra. "We heard."
"Yes well, this is for my princess to decide. I have no interest in meddling. I'll be at the altar. See you soon, woman!" He said as he walked down to wait for her.
"Your husband is such a sap." Tatsuki told her. "Here's the envelope."
"I don't wanna think about Ichigo for a while. You can keep that until we're back from the honeymoon. Right now, I have to marry my soulmate."

Ulquiorra was unrecognizable, as not many had seen him smiling. But now he couldn't help himself.
The music was beautiful, and both groomsmen and bridesmaids walked down the aisle decked in dark green suits and teal dresses. But his eyes were glued to his beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle in a white princess gown.
Orihime had a smile on her face, and crystaline silver eyes that were full of happy tears, when he lifted her veil. Looking at her face in that moment was proof that soulmates existed. As he couldn't imagine himself with anyone other than her.
"I love you." He whispered before kissing her.
"I love you too." She told him once they parted.
Admist the cheers and rose petals he could feel Orihime clinging tightly to his hand. He treasured that touch greatly, because once a long time ago it was last thing he felt before facing oblivion.
But no more, he could now hold his dear woman whenever he wished.

"So, my princess what have you decided?" He asked her as they were finally boarding the plane to their honeymoon.
"About what?"
"Your wedding gift from the rotten strawberry."
Orihime giggled. "That can wait. I don't want to think about him when I'm about to enjoy a vacation with you."
"You flatter me, still I hope you think about it later. It would bring me great joy to see you achieve one of your dreams."
Orihime placed a hand upon his pale face and gave him a soft kiss. "I have many dreams, Ulqui, but most of them are now realized because I have you. The rest can wait."
