-he starts playing the game at his office whenever he needs a break. doesn’t flinch.

-lowkey sheds a tear at henry’s speech.

-he doesn’t like security breach, he prefers the repetitiveness of the old games

-he takes the lore very seriously, like it’s a piece of fine literature LOL

-the story of the afton family is heartbreaking to him and he relates to it a tad </3

-his favorite game is the OG and his favorite character is freddy. he’s a simple man.

-“purple man? he has good taste, no?”

immediately takes it back when he finds out what his deal is

-hums the theme song while he’s at work.

-his favorite game is fnaf 2 (and it has nothing to do with toy chica)

-he gets so stressed playing the game LMAO

-when you introduce him to the lore he’s so fascinated and deeply invested. it rattles his brain but he can’t get enough.

-the next morning after you watch a video with him he has deep eye bags. you find out he stayed up all night watching lore videos.

-soon he’s a diehard fan. he keeps merch in his office beside his comics and other collectibles.

-his favorite game is pizzeria simulator because he loves the non-scary part 😭

-he loves foxy because he’s “misunderstood”🥺

-and mangle, thinks it’s sad how the kids took her apart and put her back together :,(

i forgot where i saw it but i remember you posted art of charlotte w a marionette plush in her arms and cassidy w a fredbear plush but it was between sketches of mike and i didn’t see the plushies so i just thought you were implying mike was trans and was like “oh cool, trans mike :0”

pulling a bit back from that thought tho i think it’d be kinda funny bc of what it implies from william like “idc if you’re trans you’re still getting nightmare gas tonight”

THIS IS SO FUNNY. yes michael is 100% trans btw theres no way that thing is cis. but also i think it is so so funny that william is like. canonly a trans ally. william built funtime foxy with she/him pronouns. "killing children is completely fine but i draw the line at transphobia" type of guy.

Always Back-William Afton x Reader

Summary: You are looking for another job after struggling financially. You find a help wanted sign to a once famous pizzeria. You set up a meeting with the manager of the place who seems to know you somehow.

(A/N: lately I've been too damn excited for the Fnaf movie and wanted to write something on Matthew Lillard's William Afton character. So be warned on some topics written here. I'll also be writing on Josh Hutchinson's' character of Mike.)

12:00 am

The loud sound of an alarm clock could be heard throughout the house. It's Midnight. My eyes were adjusted from being in the dark room, I remained silent, scared, could feel my heart beating faster every passing minute. Chills ran down my spine when the clock sounded for one last time…

Quietly I stepped out of my bed while holding onto my favorite stuffed plushie, passing through the closet just a few inches away from the front of my bed, immediately I stopped trying to listen for anything, trying to ignore the quiet ticking of the clock above my head.

Slowly I began to make my way over to the door and stopped once more. I hear something, maybe down the hall?

I pressed my ear against it, listening closely. After a couple of seconds I heard something loud. Curiosity got the best of me, quietly I opened the door and tried to see if I could spot anything through the dark hall.

Wait… Something's coming…

I jumped back and pull the door with me as I locked it and pressed my ear against the door again.

I could hear someone coming closer, until it stopped. I began to pant and felt my heart beating faster when I heard a scream coming from down the hall, the cries of a woman, my mother..and the shouting of a man.

Too scared to look again I slowly began to walk backwards while my eyes remained on the door when I could hear footsteps coming down the hall once more.

I jumped but made no sound when the door knob began to move, but it wouldn't open. I looked between my bed and the white closet closest to me. Sliding it open I hid myself inside and quietly closed it back, it was dark making it almost impossible to see now.

Carefully I made my way past a few boxes and draped a blanket over it and myself. I hugged my legs together and held onto my stuffed Foxy plush. I closed my eyes as I began to shake and I cowered myself closer to the corner when I heard the door to my room being unlocked.

The sound of my alarm clock began to blare and without looking at it, I grabbed it and slammed it against the floor making it shatter but the sound wouldn't stop. I groaned as I opened my eyes again and had to turn the thing off.

Once I did, I sat down in bed and began to push my hair away from my face and tried to calm my breathing. It's that same nightmare again.

I got out of my bed and went to get myself ready for the day, making sure to have my shower cold today.

I tied my hair with a few strands falling down my face and got into my car to head to my work for the day.

"Excuse me, where's the horror section?" A woman came over to ask me when she saw me organizing a few dvds and shelves. I pointed out the section and glanced to see the lady looking at a few movies.

Working at a movie store doesn't earn much, but it's the only job I could find. Besides, it was the only job where I could be accepted as well, I used to dye my hair regularly but decided against it since some working places weren't fond of it, the into thing I had were a few ear piercings and one on my eyebrow.

Other than that, I get the boring jobs and have been struggling financially for a while now along with a friend, well, I consider the person a friend since he sometimes comes around with his little sister.

I believe I've heard his name is Mike and the little girl is Abigail.

I wonder if it's just the two of them living together. It must be nice to have a sibling or a family member to look after.

My thoughts were interrupted when the same lady from earlier came over to rent a movie. Who even rents movies anymore? People might ask and I do at certain times, but I do miss a few things I got to experience in my childhood..like…

I turned my head and saw a flier taped against the shops window. I looked around and saw there were no customers, it wasn't here early when I came in. I walked up the window read what was displayed on it

"Help Wanted. Security guard to work at Freddy's Pizzeria. No background check needed. For more information call this number…"

I furrowed my eyebrows looking at the paper, I grabbed it off from the window and took it back with me inside.

Freddy's Pizzeria. Now that's a name I haven't heard in over ten years.

Would it hurt to take another side job. Being a security guard isn't that hard after all, just losing a few hours of sleep and being alone for the night. I grabbed the work phone and began to dial the number on the paper sheet.

While the phone continued to ring I had my eyes on the pizzerias mascots, until finally the phone was picked up

"Hello? I'm calling about the night security guard. I'd like to apply for the job."

Right after my shift ended from work I immediately drove up to the pizzeria. It was almost in the middle of nowhere, the family friendly restaurant wad almost abandoned now.

I stepped out of my car and saw the pizzerias sign wasn't even over the restaurant anymore, but on the floor almost in ruin.

"Wow..this place became a shit hole." I mutter under my breathe and placed my keys inside my pockets.

Slowly I began to take steps closer to the building and saw how chipped the walls seemed and I remembered this place being so bright and full of life.

"Hello?" I knocked on the door and waited a couple of minutes but no one responded. I sighed loudly and began to pull onto the door until it opened and I stepped inside.

"Let's all sing happy birthday to the special birthday girl!"

Confetti rainbow colored filled the room with tons of party hats, balloons and presents. All the kids cheered including myself when the animatronics appeared onstage.

Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie. Including Foxy who was on pirate cove.

Everyone in my class was invited to my party, not that I was close to any of them. All of them were too young to understand the bruises on my face or arms so they made fun of me for that.

"So (Y/N), are you liking the day so far?" My mother asked.

I looked up at her and ignored her bruised eye, I nodded my head. "I am."

Of course I was, but I wondered how she got the money to save up and be able to do this birthday for me, since every few times I've come here, the pizzeria doesn't have an open slot for a birthday to be done in here.

I had been playing by myself and with a few kids late on, by the time I returned to my seat I found a single present with my name on it. My mother said that it wasn't from her.

Looking back to my left I remembered the memories of my birthday and the exact spot I was seated. All my mother ever told me was that my birthday here was already paid, it was probably paid by each parent in my class.

Next I stared at the stage in front of me. It was covered by a curtain and I really wanted to see what was on the other side.

I began to slowly step forward until I heard footsteps behind me and I screamed and held onto my chest and saw a man in front of me. He quickly stepped back and held his hands ups.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." The man laughed.

He was older than me that's for sure. Maybe early 50's, he seemed attractive for his age. Though the Dahmer glasses weren't something I was expecting.

"Are you (Y/N) (L/N)?" he asked fixing his glasses and stand up straight.

"Yes! Sorry, yes I am. And you're?"

"Steve Raglan. I'm the manager at Freddy's Pizzeria. Please let's step into my office do I can further explain things to you."

I did as told and began to follow the man. We made it to his office and I could see his name written on the desk as well when he went to sit on the other side.

We each took our seats and I saw him take out a notebook and began to write on it. "Alright, (Y/N). Tell me a bit about yourself, why do you want the job?"

"I thought the paper said there was no need of a background check." I joked and saw that he wasn't smiling.

"I'm aware of that but I'm just making sure that you'll be perfect for the job without any sort of problems. We can't let any stranger in here, what if I were to hire a murderer?" Steve chuckled once and tapped his pen again.

"Right..umm. I'm just interested in the money if I'm honest. Are you planning on reopening the restaurant soon?"

Steve seemed to think about it for a few seconds. "Of course. I would love to see the place filled with joy again and the laughter of children most of all."

"You are right. Thinking hard about it, it would be nice for a new generation of kids to experience Freddy's Pizzeria."

This seemed to interest Steve. "You would come here often?"

"Not that much, only whenever a classmate of mine would decide to spend their birthday here. I really enjoyed it here and seeing the animatronics. Foxy was my favorite." I tell him.

He hums and continues to take notes. "You do seem like a Foxy fanatic to me." He jokes and I smirk back.

"What would yours be? Freddy?

Steve shakes his head a bit. "Something like that. Let's say it's a rabbit…" He says smiling a bit. He places the pen down and folds his hands together now looking back at me.

"I think I've seen you at the mall. You work at a movie store, correct?"

"So now you're a stalker." I question feeling just a bit weirded out by it.

"I'm a busy man to be doing such things. I've just visited the place once and if I'm not mistaken, you look like one of the girls working there."

I nod my head once and crossed my arms over my chest. "I'm not quite hard to miss either. Yes I do work there. If I'm able to get this second job, I'll surely move into a nicer place."

He raised an eyebrow. "Second one? Don't your parents help you out?"

"My mom only cares to contact with me if I have money to help her out. And about my dad, well I never met the man. I did have a stepdad but he's not important." I simply tell him not to say anymore or remember the past.

Steve Raglan looked at his wrist watch and then back at me. "Miss (Y/N). I can't say you're hired right away since there's another person who contacted me right when you came in. Let's make this fun. You and this other person will stay for the night and we'll see which one can handle it."

"Which one can survive the night." He smiled.

"I'm willing to work extra hours if it means that I'll have the job." I said standing up and he did the same.

He held his hand out for a handshake. "Then I'm looking forward to see who wins. Now, follow me I'll be handing out your uniform."

I smiled at Steve and began to follow him over to the storage area. I sniffed the air and it wasn't a quite pleasant smell, but I decided not to comment on it. It was kinda dark but I could see a Bonnie head on the far corner and a few other items.

"I want you here at 12 o'clock sharp. No delays." Steve said handing me my uniform and a few more things.

Looking up at the man I nodded my head again and smiled. "Of course, Sir." I tell him and could've sworn I saw his expression change a bit.

"Great. I hope you and your partner will get along. I look forward to seeing your progress." Steve said guiding back to the main entrance. With a quick goodbye, Steve closed the doors behind him leaving me alone outside.

I started going back into my car and looked at Freddy's Pizzeria. My new job. Let's see what's do complicated about this job.

so. got an idea for Another fnaf au, one that i like to call "Elizabeth's Toybox of Horrors"

@that-darn-clown if you're interested :]

long story short: Adrian died in Circus Baby instead of Elizabeth. viewing her brother as too much of a scaredy cat, she encourages him to get closer to Baby, only for him to get grabbed and killed instead. this still starts the domino effect of the fnaf timeline (well, my timeline, anyway) happening.

Liz practically becomes a shadow of who she once was. the bubbly, outgoing girl becomes quiet, withdrawn. the death of many children she and her brothers considered friends certainly didn't help. neither do the nightmares.

the day before they would go missing, Cassidy would pop by the Afton residence to give Elizabeth the plushie meant for her brother's birthday. she thanks them for it.

Cassidy never comes by the house again after that (at least, not alive, anyway...).

Elizabeth gains a morbid fascination for the animatronics, the very things that stole her brother from her (the brother she got killed, the brother she watched die before her very eyes). she'd watch the animatronics for hours on end, hardly moving. heck, even more, she sneaks into the Backstage area without her father's knowledge quite often. Michael doesn't bully her; he's honestly a bit creeped out by her, to be perfectly honest. she kinda scares him, nowadays...

she swears that she hears Cassidy's voice coming from the plushie she was gifted by them, telling her about what was happening around her, about her deepest thoughts and regrets.

but, most of all, it would tell her that her father was hiding something from her.

and the more she learns about the animatronics, the more she can't help but agree.

they didn't use to act like that before the..."disappearances."

so...what if they hadn't simply disappeared?

William brushes her off as she asks about it. but she presses him further: "The robots didn't act like that before, Daddy. We both know this. Why won't you tell me the truth?"

it's her ninth birthday. he took her to Freddy's.

she snuck into the Backstage again. she can smell the smell of death back there. Foxy is back there for repairs that day. she swears that she can see something in his mouth, inside of him...

there's a scream from back there. employees find her with a huge wound across one of her eyes.

Foxy bit her.

after a few days in the hospital, she awakens, mostly fine. she's blind in her left eye now, and she has a nasty scar from the bite, but she's alive. William talks about how Foxy is dangerous, this is why I've told you so many times now not to go back there, what if you got hurt even worse than that?

Elizabeth hardly even seems fazed. she looks up at him, smiling.

"It's fine, Daddy. Fritz told me he was sorry.

...He seemed really mad at you, though..."

William is left speechless. as is Michael.

Michael leaves home, going to stay with Henry. Liz stays with her father.

Liz gets sent to a therapist, because (to a certain degree) maybe William could convince her (and himself) that this was all just her being mad about Adrian's death, as well as losing Charlie. she's just mad and bitter about what happened, so she's just making up some reason to still be mad at him.

(it was his faulty robot that killed Adrian, after all. why wouldn't she be mad about that, the therapist says. she feels like she can't truly forgive him for that, even if it was nothing more than a tragic accident. so she's just trying to find some more justifiable reason to still be mad. at least, that's what everyone else seems to tell her.)

but it doesn't manage to convince her.

it just makes her stop talking about it as openly.

she knows what she saw and heard that day. and...if Fritz and the others were in the robots at Freddy's...then...is Adrian...?

she grows up. she moves out in 1993.

a few years later, she goes to find her brother. she finds him, as well as several others.

she gets them out, all her insides still, well, inside. she starts working on robots of her own, just for fun.

but, she gets an idea. William practically killed these poor children (indirectly, because Funtimes, but still), don't they want vengeance?

turns out, they do. and Adrian, horrified and disgusted by what his father has done, wants to help them.

Elizabeth gets an idea, one that all of the Funtimes are on board with:

Anyways, Amarys does not get scared bet, like maybe a sudden jolt if she gets caught off guard but usually when she gets jumpscared she'd just go "oh, I lost." I think she'd be the type to actually try the fangames, looking for a challenge, taking Crispin's words saying the fangames have scarier gameplay and animatronics

She still don't find it scary, she did love the challenge tho hahah

Out of all four of em, she's the closest to ever beat UCN too. And Drayton, being Drayton, was all "well, my sis beat ultimate custom night, so by extension I beat it too"

Crispin gives off the vibes he really had a fnaf phase and never grew outta it, he always tries to make pizza whenever he plays it or if he watches someone play it, y'know, for the immersion he says hahah but also bet he'd be the type to watch every fnaf theory video out there, especially by pkmn ver of MatPat; the type to think of his own theories, make fanart, bet he listened to the fan songs and still memorized some of them by heart. It would be cute tho if Crispin got Amarys hooked w the lore hahah like him talking abt fnaf and telling her the story so far while she's playing, and ofc she's listening to ever word, even adding her own thoughts. They give off vibes that they'd actually try to decipher a lot of the codes and puzzles in the games, like really going above and beyond to figure out every hidden meaning hahah

I think Amarys would also read the books, Lacey's surprised there are actually books abt it, Drayton didn't bother reading them ofc, Crispin's attention span isn't made for it so he just relies on Amarys for more info abt the lore regarding the stuff within the books and connecting them to the mainline games

And bet when the movie was out Crispin got so fucking excited he invited the E4 and the Kitakami sibs to watch it with him, like he really made a lotta snacks and I know for a fact and it's canon in my heart he screamed when the song at the credits played I just know it hahaha

❥ NIGHTMARE FREDDY

You probably invited the three tiny bears to your tea party first and then they processed to drag him into the whole party going on. And well, he doesn't have the will to deny their request so he ends up telling the others to do something else for the first night and ends up joining your party. All four of them are unnatural but he does end up having fun. In the end, he convinces everyone else to leave and find someone else and you never end up seeing him again, probably growing up convinced that he was just a figment of your childhood imagination.

❥ NIGHTMARE CHICA

She thinks you're stupid. Seriously? Asking something like her to a tea party? But.. she can't say she doesn't want to join your party. She'll ask the others to not do anything for the night, and after the realization that she now owes them all something she joins your tea party. She even ends up stealing some snacks from the kitchen for the party for the party. She's tense and unsure at the start, but at the end it was a huge success. She can't make the others leave, but she does do her best to help you survive through the nights that are especially scary.

❥ NIGHTMARE BONNIE

He is confused on why you would be awake at this time unless you were scared of them and felt like you had to fight for your life or something along those lines but.. well, he's basically the only one who ever does anything other than Freddy during the first night, so he agrees to a tea party with you. He is tense for the first minutes but grows more comfortable. He reminds you to check on the bed and doors periodically throughout the entire night just in case, so that you're safe. He does convince everyone else to leave you alone, considering he's the only one who has a good relationship with everyone in the group.

❥ NIGHTMARE FOXY

He isn't there for the first nights, but he's excited to join in on the fun. Except.. when you see that the fox plushie in your closet has turned into a huge, scary, nightmare-fuel creature you don't scream, shine the light or close the door. Instead you ask him to join you in a tea party. He's confused, 'cause surely his group has been chasing you the entire nights before and you have to be scared of anything looking remotely like them. He denies, saying you should focus on keeping the others out. You turn around, scared as the mini-Freddies scramble back under the bed. He doesn't join your party, but he doesn't end up hunting you either. He'll show whenever he feels the others coming too close to remind you to look for them so you don't die. After, regardless if you survive or not, he tries to make his own little tea party. He sits in his space on his own, curious as to why you weren't scared of him.

❥ NIGHTMARE FREDBEAR

Much like Foxy, he doesn't understand why you would ask him something like thatafter surviving multiple nights with creatures like him hunting you, trying to kill you. He doesn't agree, just keeps going after you as you back up and close the door in his face, seemingly remembering that he's bad. He does end up thinking about your offer after the week is over, much like Foxy did, wondering why you seemed so eager to have a party with a creature like him.

❥ NIGHTMARE

He doesn't process what you said, not really. He never truly listens to what the kids he's after have to scream or cry. Most of the time theor just begging for someone to help them, or for him to leave them alone anyway. Wondering where he came from. What happened to all the others? The golden bear? It's not until after the night is over that he actually realizes what you had said, and he realizes the lack of fear that had been in your voice. He brushes it off, ignoring it but there will always be that part of him, nagging him about the offer at the back of his conscious.

Animatronic AU:

Phone Guy would be a Golden Retriever animatronic. He can use the voice box to say pre-recorded lines, able to tell you exactly what he thinks, even though there's little variety. His character is a bit of a smart alec.

The heart of the group. Makes sure everyone gets along and loves one another.

Is friends with the main four animatronics! Especially Freddy and Foxy. He also gets along great with OCs!

Adorable good boy. Loves pets and ear scritches.

Freddy and Friends On Tour AU:

Phone Guy was a park ranger working under William Afton. When he met Freddy's gang, he always smiled at them and encouraged them in their music. He's a little bit timid though, and always looks tired.

One day, Freddy finds out the dark truth about William... that he overworks Phone Guy, threatens him, and hits him. Even giving him a black eye when he caught him sleeping on the job. Phone Guy pretends nothing is wrong, hiding the black eye, but Freddy has already seen enough.

Freddy hatches a plan with the main gang and they rescue Phone Guy, making it look like a wild animal got in his cabin and ate him.

Now Phone Guy works as their new manager! He's treated a lot better, given proper breaks, enough food, etc.

At night he sometimes gets nightmares. When that happens, Freddy will cuddle with him and it will calm him down. He will relax against his soft fur. It's like he's a giant teddy bear!

Phone Guy will watch the band play from backstage. He's shy and prefers to remain hidden. Though he will sometimes introduce the band over the speakers, and take song requests.

Despite everything, he counts his blessings and finds it easier to heal when he's with his new friends. <3 And they feel lucky to have him.

Hunchback of Notre Dame AU:

William is the boss of the large and lavish original restaurant. He's Michael's father, and gaslights Michael into seeing the pizzeria as his only home. He wants Michael to help him do his dirty work and that can only happen if Michael trusts him completely.

Michael is the zombie who haunts the Freddy's restaurant. How did he get this way? Let's just say Michael didn't have such a good family reunion... No one ever sees him during the day, and at night people whisper terrified things in the shadows about him.

Michael's friends are the plushies he keeps in his room. He knows they're imaginary but they keep him company. (Even though the actual robots the plushies are based on are terrifying.)

One day, a beautiful man (Phone Guy) gets hired at the restaurant. He wanted to find out if the rumors are true. When he sees Michael, he thinks he did a good job with the horror makeup! Until he finds out this is the real zombie of Freddy's. But the man doesn't run. He's curious. Asking all sorts of questions.

Michael takes a liking to him. This is the first man who did not run in fear. Who wants to know who he really is.

Unfortunately, William also takes a liking to Phone Guy. He doesn't like that he asks too many questions, and is kind to Michael. He doesn't want to lose his grip. But he also sees him as a potential ally... if he can convince him to join him in murdering children.

Phone Guy refuses to hurt anyone, so William gets mad and spreads rumors about him. William tells everyone that PG is a cruel man with a wicked heart. The rumors spread far and wide. He ensures Phone Guy will not work anywhere in this town, and then "kindly" offers a job at Freddy's...

Despite his reputation, Jeremy, a new hire, decides to befriend Phone Guy. He needs to know the truth.

You know the drill. Jeremy gets too close; William doesn't like it; Bite of 87. Jeremy is left for dead. (He recovers in the hospital.)

Phone Guy is running out of time. He tries to hide but it's no use. William catches him and makes him do the nightshift. He has one last chance to save himself - be with William or he and the restaurant will burn. Phone Guy tries to bargain - he will only do it if William doesn't hurt anyone. No killing children and allow Michael to choose what he wants to do and who he wants to be.

This is too much for William. He locks Phone Guy in the restaurant with all the animatronics turned up to their highest level.

Michael discovers William's plan and goes to rescue Phone Guy. Going to find him stuffed in a suit and carefully getting him out of it. He's barely alive but looks at Michael with gratefulness and touches his cheek, telling him he's beautiful too. He's happy that Michael found him and that he can at least know that he is loved.

Phone Guy dies in his arms.

Michael gets very upset. He sobs, cradling his dear friend's body.

William comes by to talk to Michael. He speaks coldly, saying that Phone Guy deserved it for not taking him up on his offer. He tries to tell Michael about the next steps in their plan, but Michael doesn't care.

Feeling intense rage, Michael grabs William and throws him into the off camera saferoom. He locks the door from the outside and throws away the key. There, William tries to find a way out, but it's futile... He sees the Springlock Suit in the corner... And realizes he can maybe brute force his way through the door while wearing it.

However, the Springlocks are rather flimsy... It snaps, and William screams in agony as the iron maiden suit springlocks him and he starts to bleed out.

Uhh, Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for any damages!

The townspeople who once feared Michael... They see him bury his friend's body, and leave flowers by his tombstone. Is the zombie of Freddy's really that bad? Some of them go to talk to him.

And actually, Mike seems to look healthier. His hair has grown back, as well as much of his skin. Whatever happened to him, his body is still healing from it. (We'll use the remnant healing theory here.) Michael slowly wins over the townspeople, moving slowly, being kind, showing them there's nothing to be afraid of.

Jeremy comes by as one of the first to see Michael. He has a lot to talk about with him, and pulls Michael into a hug. The townspeople cheer!

At home, Michael still tends to have a lot of nightmares of the restaurant and his father. But sometimes in his dreams, he will hear a soft ringing sound. And then a voice over the phone, telling him encouraging things. Reminding Michael that he is loved.
