The Last
The last.
That was what they always told each other because it was what they would be.
It may seem stupid thinking that while they were still in university but deep down they knew that after each other, there would never be someone else.
Kao and Pete may have had most of their firsts with other people but they were each other's last love and no one would be able to change.
Yes, they almost broke up sometimes but they came back stronger and with a better understanding of each other's feelings so they knew that this was fate telling them that no matter the adversities they would always come back.
So, it shouldn't have been surprising for their friends when Kao got on one knee during Pete's 26th birthday or that they got married half a year after that happened.
And even much less that the two were now planning on adopting a child as both had stable jobs and felt ready for this next step.
"I can't wait to meet our future kid" Pete whispers the night before they go to the orphanage
"Me too" Kao whispers back and cuddles more into Pete "Whoever we choose, we will do our best to give them a good life and be there no matter what problems fate gives them" he adds with a soft smile
"Just like our parents did with us" Pete agrees and kisses his husband softly
"Love you, Pete"
"Me too, Kao"

"So you are Gun?" Kao asks as he looks at the teen in front of him
"Y-yes" the boy says looking slightly afraid but mostly confused
"Take care of Tinn, he may seem serious and strong but he is just like his papa" Kao says smiling at Gun "Just give him affection and make sure he doesn't stress himself doing his work and trying to help you" he adds before patting Gun's head and going to tell Tinn that his friend had arrived
"Eh?" Gun says confused after Kao left
"Ignore him, he is an idiot" Pete sighs from the couch "Me and Kao will be leaving to visit his sister so you and Tinn can study in peace" he says getting up from the couch once his husband and Tinn appear
The married couple says their goodbyes, kissing Tinn in the forehead and making him promise to be careful while they are gone, before they leave the two teens to study in peace.
"How long do you think it will take until one of them confesses?" Kao asks Pete amused
"Who knows hopefully they do it before university" Pete says smiling

Hello ABL- I thought of you right away when reading a post on Ask me about BL shows. My question is a little long here.
Do you have any of your favorite shows that you think the main (or second leads) actors could swap rolls and the show still be one of your favorites? Or do you have a show that rates lower but would be improved if they had swapped?
I thought of Sam Lin and Yu Teng in We Best Love. The strength of their acting abilities and the chemistry could lend Yu being Gao Shi De and Sam being Zhou Shu Yi. The scenes that were pivotal in the series would still stand up to scrutiny. The bridge confession is a the first thing that comes to my mind.
Another one that amuses me at this thought is Semantic Error. The height difference would lend to such a cuteness in the aggressive pursuit Jae Young for Sang Woo. The lettuce scene with Jae Chan throwing a fit.
OOoo, what a doozie of a question.

How do you feel about this years love out loud not featuring offgun or newtay?
hmmm... I don't really care tbh since offguntaynew are getting their own concert anyways. but I must admit I do feel kinda weird about gmmtv's strategy of separating these two ships which are their oldest legacy ships from the other newer ones, when before they usually blended their legacy ships with newer ones in the same events (see y i love you 2019 with offguntaynew but also drakefrank & neophuwin.) so I'm not sure excluding ogtn like that is the best thing tbh, but also since I don't care about half of gmmtv's new ships I don't mind getting my separated offguntay content either lol.

I do realize that Polca’s detective game is mostly and mainly just pure fun, that they upgraded jumping to conclusions to an art form and run with it like a steam engine but... there are moments when even my rational self goes all 🤔🧐🙃
Like when Tay posted in his IG, “I miss you like the sun misses the sky” a few days ago (Tay’s name, Tawan, means sun) and then today, a smiley face and an emoji of a city skyline at dusk in his Twitter, and when asked by his fans, he said that it had been a truly happy half an hour (x) - only for Newwiee to post this pic of himself...
... with the tagline “Sky Boy” at the very same moment, as in to the minute (x) I mean, there’s coincidence and then there’s... *hands*
Or when Tay posted in his IG a pic of himself on a tennis court with the tagline “Green & blue” (x) and a moment later, Newwiee posted those pics of himself with a green plant against a blue sky (x)
Or the fact that Tay’s favorite dessert are brownies and Newwiee spent a good part of his quarantine trying to come up with a recipe for the perfect brownies...
Call me delulu all you want but after that HomeAtLunchxTawan a few days ago when Tay actually called Newwiee and greeted him with such bright and happy “Hin-aaaaaaaaah!” nobody will convince me that these two aren’t as close as ever before 😛
