Whenever I watch “Ne Zha”, I always wonder if it really was impossible to remove the curse that would result in him being killed, since they never actually ask the deity who created the curse, they just accept the word of his “assistant” as fact.
But, also, I can’t help but love the fact that, despite the fact that he was literally infused with what was basically evil energy at birth, Ne Zha isn’t actually that bad of a kid? He’s not some attitude problems, but a lot of those do seem to come from how he was treated, and he’s shown to genuinely care about his parents, especially his mother. I mean, when he’s first born and lashing out, nothing actually calms him down until his mother holds him and tries to comfort him, and almost immediately after that, we see him smile for the first time at his mother and father. And the first scene we see of him as a child has him getting really excited when his mother offers to play with him, and him getting worried when he thinks he hurt her by accident.
Honestly, I don’t think Ne Zha’s personality was really effected by the demon pill at all. I think even if he was incarnated as the Spirit Pearl, he would have still kind of been a handful, to say the least. Only difference is people wouldn’t treat him as horribly....or maybe they would because they’d still have to deal with a small child with essentially superpowers.

An investigation of color aesthetics and character design in the film Nezha: Birth of the Demon Child (2019)
Introduction to Art Background
This movie is adapted from the prototype of Nezha in Chinese mythology and tells the wonderful story of Little Nezha's adventure. Nezha's character design is very playful, drawing on the fairy tale style of Disney animation, which further attracts the attention of the audience. The most important scene design in this movie is mainly the design of the Heavenly Palace and the birthplace of Nezha, Chentangguan. The design of Chentangguan is full of human fireworks, and the location of Chentangguan is probably in Tianjin, China. Therefore, these buildings absorb the style of many traditional Tianjin buildings, such as many Tianjin delicacies and handicrafts appearing in the market. (Zhang and Li, 2020) Secondly, the main scene also includes the Heavenly Court. The artistic design of the Heavenly Court scene is mainly composed of clouds and mountains. The biggest feature of the Heavenly Court scene in this film is its emptiness, which effectively highlights the main characters and guides the audience's visual focus to character design.

2. Color contrast and different character shaping
The color of the Heavenly Palace draws on the characteristics of the Chinese ink painting "Blue and Green Landscape" from the Song Dynasty. The color scheme of the Heavenly Palace and Lotus Fairyland is mainly green and blue. This color scheme, combined with smoke effects made with Houdini, can better reflect the Chinese mythological Heavenly Palace atmosphere. The most distinctive feature of this movie is the contrast between two different colors, which respectively shape the two main characters of the movie:
(1) Nezha: Red and Brown
The designer designed the overall clothing for Nezha's character in red and brown to reflect his personality. Red represents passion and also reflects Nezha's playful and easily angered personality traits. In addition, in order to highlight Nezha's childlike characteristics, the designer designed a red vest for Nezha. This vest symbolizes children in traditional Chinese culture. It is worth noting that there is also an embroidery design of a lotus flower on Nezha's red vest, which symbolizes Nezha's holy soul. In addition, the designer's design of Ne Zha's image breaks the shackles of traditional impressions. Ne Zha is a serious deity in traditional Chinese mythology, but in this film, Ne Zha becomes very cute and playful, and his exaggerated expression caters to the public's aesthetic. In this process, it is necessary for the creator or team to process the objective reality to a limited extent according to their own understanding This kind of shooting can follow cancer rules or be an attitude (Zheng, 2019). So the innovative design of Nezha's image by the creator also attracted the audience, allowing them to understand the character of Nezha from different perspectives.

(2) Ao Bing: Blue and Cool Tones
At the beginning, the image of Ao Bing was just because he shoulders the responsibility of guarding the people of Chentangguan and also the responsibility of saving the dragon tribe. In the film, Ao Bing's clothing and hair are designed in blue because blue is a symbol of kindness, and blue embodies his infinite desire for freedom in his body. But in the later part of the film, when his identity was exposed, he chose to sacrifice the people of Chujinguan to protect his own safety (Qin, 2021). So in the latter half of the film, Ao Bing's blue also symbolizes a depressed and repressed state of mind. In addition, designers are also skilled at using contrasting colors to create corresponding images. The most exciting part of the film is the battle between Ao Bing and Nezha. Ao Bing's use of blue water magic and Nezha's use of red flame magic form a strong contrast, giving the audience a particularly good visual experience.
In short, the designer of this movie is adept at using strong color contrast to shape scenes and character images, whether it is a scene with a green landscape painting style, or the character images of Nezha and Ao Bing using red and yellow to reflect opposition, all of which reflect the designer's superb level

A dump of stupid ne zha and ao bing platonic content from birth of the demon child.
They are allways competing and challenging each other since they are the only ones who can give the other a true competition/rival
Just:
"Try and beat my sneeze record"
"Bet"
Ao bing likes to use the fact that hes taller in general as a dig at ne zha. Even when ne zha puts the hoop on his wrist ao bing just turns into a dragon and boom. Still taller.
Ne zha hardly ever uses his unleashed form, he naturally prefers his gremlin state to a big boi mode. It just takes to much energy
Once nezha put the hoop on ao bing and never again.
Ao bing made him swear on his mother's life that they would never speak of this to anyone else.
Gremlin ao bing is a sin.
Since ao bing disgraced the whole dragon kingdom hes not going back anytime soon. So naturally ne zha mother took him in like one of her own!
Nezhas room is now split into two where both pearl and pill co exist....again. at least this time it's more rommier than a lotus container.
Often have those 3 am convos like:
"Bro"
"Yeah bro?"
"Were technically both plant AND zombie"
"Stop"
(For those confused by this, after ne zha and ao bing died via lightning strike their souls were saved by Taiyi which he then resculpted their bodies from lotus fruit and put their preserved souls back in)
Both had a long hard debate on where babies come from.
One says a trench in the sea, the other insists that it's from the mothers extra belly fat and they kinda just break off in a flesh ball that morphs into a baby.
Aobing is disgusted by that idea.
Ao bing hates garlic.... ne zha put it in his hair and ne zha was almost eaten by a very angry dragon prince.
Little gremlin baby has pissed off the spirit pearl many times.
Like calling him and his whole clan pompous worms on a string.
Ao bing was angry but at the same time ne zha did have a point
