Okay, so I was going through a few different ideas but what I ultimately settled on was that Bucky and Steve are both marine biologists and rivals/nemesis in their fields. They don't actually know each other very well but they went to rival schools, other scientists are constantly comparing them and there mayyyy have been a few passive aggressive academic peer reviews.

But they end up on the same boat for an expedition because of grant/funding issues and also because their work can overlap and probably help both of their research. They are NOT enthused about this but the choice has been taken out of their hands.

And it's definitely a meet ugly because there has now been years of assumptions and petty shit talking and they are just being assholes to each other. Meanwhile the rest of the crew see the writing on the wall and a betting pool starts to see when they finally just fuck it out.

Unfortunately, both Bucky and Steve learn about the bet and refuse to give into the sexual tension because that's LOSING so fuck that!

But Bucky thinks he's going to go catatonic because Steve is allergic to clothes and constantly just walks around in tiny shorts or lounging with an open wetsuit.

And if it was just lust, Bucky could handle it but Steve turns out not to be the arrogant prick he thought was. He's a great team leader, knowledgeable and so fucking competent. That drives Bucky up the wall because he has a competency kink a mile wide.

As for Steve, he thought Bucky was going to just lock himself in the lab and be a demanding jerk who won't be a team player. Instead, Bucky is right there with everyone getting dirty and working his ass off even though he has less field experience than Steve. And Steve will swallow knives before he admits it but he loves how Bucky's face lights up when he talks about his work. Because it's so obvious how much Bucky cares about the ocean, its creatures, and wants to protect everything about it.

Something will eventually give of course but who's going to trip up first? 😏😏😏

But if we’re thinking real AU…what if Bucky is completely done with dating. He needs a date to some kind of work event, and he decides to use a service. He’s never done this before, but he feels like he doesn’t have any other options, and the last thing he wants is to be the only person showing up by himself. When Steve shows up at the venue, he kind of loses his mind. This guy is gorgeous. He’s dressed flawlessly, but even those clothes can’t hide the muscled body underneath. Bucky has to swallow to keep from drooling. He saw the photos on the website, but god damn, those don’t do him justice.

It’s not just his ridiculous body. His face, with sparkling blue-green eyes, a strong jaw line…even his nose and ears are perfect. What the fuck, Bucky thinks. Why am I even thinking about his nose? He tries to keep his cool, at least a little bit, but Steve, once they’ve got the initial introductions out of the way, notices his nerves, and tries to put him more at ease.

So yeah, besides looking like he’s been carved from marble, he’s apparently also a sweetheart. Bucky is so screwed.

They spend the minimum amount of time needed at the event. Bucky hates these things, but with Steve, it’s not so bad. He blends in with the crowd seamlessly, knows the exact right thing to say, somehow figures out exactly which people Bucky dislikes and pointy comments ready for them. The only thing Bucky can do is look on in awe.

He hadn’t actually planned on taking Steve home. Just hired him to be his date for the night. But when they leave and get in the car, he can’t actually bring himself to ask Steve where to drop him off. Instead, he asks him if he wants to come back to his place, for a nightcap. Steve smiles at him, squeezes his thigh, and tells him he’d love to, his touch and his rumbling voice making Bucky’s breath hitch and his pants feel tight.

They get to Bucky’s apartment, and while he goes to get them some drinks, he leaves Steve to explore. When he comes back into the living room, Steve is taking off his coat. Bucky freezes when he sees he’s not just taking off his coat, but his shirt is also completely unbuttoned, putting his toned abs and chest on display.

“See something you like?” Steve asks, smirking. Bucky can’t find himself to care about how cheesy the line is. Not when his heart feels like it’s beating out of his chest, not when all he can think about is wanting to drop down to his knees right there and then.

An noble initiative by Navya Naveli Gallery to promote Art and Artist

The Navya Naveli Gallery under the amazing effort of Amrita Kochhar had organised a solo show of Sukhlal who is cook by profession “Beyond Hope and Horizon”- Art Works by Artist Sukhlal organized recently. This show was to promote artist Sukhlal for achieving his dream of becoming an artist.Sukhlal having no formal training in Fine Art but still he manage to paint and draw.The Gallery with the help of Amrita Kochhar has taken a noble initiative to promote Sukhlal an underprivileged artist and give him a platform where he can show his hidden talent.

 The show was Curated by Maite Deltiel and Sakti Burman.

 Whatever the funds they received from selling the artworks went to Sukhlal for his career and future said Gallery Founder Amrita Kochhar.

 In my understanding of life and its ways, the primary thing that I have discovered is that it is indifferent towards individuals. It works on its own, never cares what it puts us through. However, seldom I get to see a part of life that leaves me speechless. It changes my entire conception and makes me question it altogether. Something like that happened to me when I discovered Sukhlal. An artist by soul and a cook by profession.

 His story, as told by Mrs.Maite Deltiel, her employer:

 “Sukhlal has been our cook for more than one year now. Living with us made him discover a new profession. Silently, he started to draw figures. l suppose it is my driver who is the boss who showed us his first sketch and then we provided the equipment regularly because immediately we found his drawings very interesting. They were always full of life, very expressive, always different, showing singular postures.”

 According to Mrs. Maite Deltiel, in Sukhlal’s way of working we could see he has the main qualities necessary to become an artist:  Working hard, Perseverance, Imagination, liking to try different media, different supports and not afraid to undertake. However perhaps the best quality of Sukhlal is that he never seemed afraid of difficulty; instead he managed it with a kind of happy obstinacy

According to Ms. Amrita Kochhar, Founder of the Navya Naveli Gallery: “this art exhibition is being organized only to promote Sukhlal as an artist as he is underprivileged. This is not at all a commercial art exhibition but to support artist Sukhlal who is even happy to have the stroke of his brush with colour.
