Continuing design development for the sea-tale. The ladies! Isabelle as a lionfish, Mariza as a narwhal, Clary as mandarinfish and Camilla as black jellyfish before leaving the Ocean and surgeonfish after returning to the Ocean (she is actually the little mermaid in this story, but not quite as naive and joyful as Ariel). And yes, they don't wear bra's (or other clothes) because they are fishes! Go with it.

Day 4: Narwhal

I do not think I am built for the cold. It has never agreed with me. Dr. Branston likes to laugh at my "weak constitution" but I've never seen her on a polar expedition. Regardless, as little as I'm not built for the ice, the Unicorn Ice Divers certainly are. While I did not join the researchers in the water, I did get to observe these rare and beautiful Merms patrol their icy domain. While they're generally shy, it seems this pod has bonded with this research group. They introduced me to Leela, who they rescued from getting stranded in the ice years ago. It reminded me a bit of the early days in my career.

If the Kraken is Neptune’s pet …then it makes Book 2’s ending really sad. When Neptune has to help kill the Kraken to stop a shipwreck .

Very reminiscent of when people have to euthanize their dogs for violently attacking someone.

It’s hard to tell if the Kraken was literally Neptunes pet. On one hand he did take good care of it , providing shelter and food. On the other hand he shows 0 emotional attachment to the Kraken. Unlike with the Narwhal.
