This will be a kinda of a rant on sakura and maybe hinata if I find some but mostly sakura.

If you’re a sakura fan/ss fan, This post is not for you.

One thing that I really don’t like about some sakura fans is that they like to change her body .

They like to say they care for her, loves the way she is, and doesn’t care about her chest but then photoshops her chest. I-… Like you say you care for her and respect her body but photoshops it? People who photoshops sakura fan aren’t a true sakura fan or a sakura fan who hates her body and photoshops.

2: I remember saying this on Amino about someone dislike hinata which is fine and they said their reasons but some part in their reasons about disliking hinata is that “Sakura put her feelings aside and focus on her training while hinata doesn’t care about but Naruto. Like you hate hinata for only caring about naruto but what about sakura? She did the exact same thing as hinata because sakura and hinata never moved on their crushes and their goal/dream is to be with the guy they like who barely talked or had chemistry with them. How come you hate hinata for only caring about her crush and no one else but praise Sakura for doing the same thing. Look I have no problem with people disliking hinata just people hates hinata for caring about her crush only but like sakura for the doing the exact same thing.

3: Hinata and Sakura doesn’t understand Naruto and sasuke at all, Their goal is to be wife of their crushes and nothing else. Sakura house like why is she obsessed of putting the Uchiha crest without knowing the meaning of it. Did she learned about the uchiha clan? No. If she did know about the Uchiha clan she will not put it all over her house. Like I get that she’s married to sasuke but she couldn’t have put outside her house and clothes.

Final thoughts: Sasuke and Naruto should been together than naruhina and sasusaku because sasusaku and naruhina are both horrible canon ships to ever exist. If you are going to say something rude and can’t respect my opinion I’m not going to be wasting my time arguing with you.

I just came from your Sasori Roleplay account. I wasn't sure if you were active there anymore, so I hopped on over here via your pinned post.

You seem like a talented and fun person to roleplay with, so I thought why not ask?

I've read your rules and some of the older blogs and they really resonated with me.

I used to roleplay Itachi on Amino like you used to play/still play(?) Sasori on here. Those in depth roleplays that just make my heart sing. And also the RPs that are a pain to find because...well...novella takes work. And building a bond with a character who isn't naturally friendly takes even more time.

Still those have got to be the most fun times I can remember from my teens. And I misss them...

It was quite challenging to find people who share similar views on roleplaying and like the same fandom. So I must have given up sometime back. And when I read your blog today, I was instantly like "Oh my god this is exactly what I was looking for" (except like 6 years passed since I last attempted that xD)

So I wanted to pop in and say "Hi, I love your blog already!" but that didn't quite suffice so here we are xD.

It's kinda funny because after all this time not roleplaying, I found myself on tumblr, figured why not make a Sasori RP account (there are many others for the Naruto characters) to have some fun and be nostalgic? But...there was still a little 'eh' that was missing. And I found it in your blog.

I adore it, when people just get their characters and portray them correctly. And I've been aching to find more people like this. I remember it being quite the challenge in the past, back in my Itachi days, so it was like a gift to find your account!

I'd love to RP with you sometime. Or...to just chat and reminisce about days past, even if I just discovered you today. I just know I would have loved to have you in my Akatsuki geoup back in 2015.

This is the SWEETEST message, oh my lord, thank you so much! You have no idea how happy this made me and how much I needed this little spark of positivity in my life right now!

I unfortunately no longer RP on tumblr due to some incidents that have made me wary over the years. I also no longer RP Sasori, but I do still RP in the Naruto fandom, just on Discord with friends that I am comfortable with. Novella does take work! But man, if it isn't worth the effort! I'm so glad people are still RPing and taking up Sasori. He absolutely deserves that love! Unfortunately, I did most of my tumblr RP back when the manga was still ongoing and tumblr was at its peak so there was a LOT more interaction then than I see these days. I wish it could go back to being that way! I miss a lot of the friends I made back then! (But also I'm still friends with some of them 10 years later, it's fantastic. You really form some lasting bonds). Even back then, however, there were only ever a couple of Sasori accounts (like... maybe 3, not including myself? And most were not active).

I'm mostly a Shisui RPer these days, though I do write for Kakashi, Tobirama, Kisame, and Izuna, too! Like I said, though, I only RP with those I'm super comfortable with, but if you want, I have plenty of recs for you! I'm also KomorebiRabbit on AO3 and @komorebirabbitwrites. My Sasori is actually heavily based on characterization from @renaerys and her works from back then (such as Zero Hour) and she is still writing FANTASTIC Sasori works to this day. I mean absolutely unbelievable, haunting, you will never get it out of your head type fics. Her characterization is unparalleled and also she's just an awesome person in general! I also mod @sasoriweek which will happen again in November of this year!

Also, if you like dark, horror-heavy Sasori, Athelise on AO3 is absolutely amazing! She writes such an interesting Sasori and some phenomenal smut, I definitely recommend her!

"Amino sucks." Ouh~ I do love a good rant, so I shall add to the pool of Amino rants here on Tumblr. Now, say it with your whole chest, if you're going to make a statement, say it correctly.

No, Amino App is absolute trash.

Synopsis: Tumblr and Ao3 are superior options for your niché interests. Don't bother using Amino Apps if you value creative freedom, dislike censorship, or glitchy apps that eat up your battery life.

I originally joined in 2018-2019 and to my understanding, it was a place to express your love for a specific topic. In my case, I loved One Piece and Naruto. People could post their art, fanfics, and role play with their OCs. But whatever creative liberties Amino veterans had pre-2020 are long gone.

The communities go from one extreme to the next, within the same community might I add. Ex. There are Amino communities that talk about serial killers/murder but within the same breath you get the 20 y/o adult toddlers crying about the word "thot" being too obscene! 😱 And you can bet your ass, there are glitches, bugs, and porn bots. Overall, idiocracy on Amino is equivalent to Twitter/X but not as graphic as 2chan, the defunct Japanese worser version of 4chan. Some examples of the shit that goes on in Amino include but are not limited to:

A classical painting of Lucifer being reported as pornographic, subsequently silencing/banning the post author (not my story)

Drawing of t-shirts with the words "f*ck" or "tits" on characters, fully clothed btw, and no ahegao in sight being silenced/hidden (my story)

But community staff is A-OK with featuring, for ALL to SEE, women in thin bikinis who are one sneeze away from having their tits pop out

Grooming. Adults grooming children in DMs

Porn bots, although I've seen this as less of a problem if staff is sensible enough to lock/close the community

Community staff being wholy hypocritical. I say the word "thot" in a public chat and get some curator complaining, "That's a no-no word. 🥺We have to protect the children." But I come back to the SAME public chat, and for about an hour and a half, they were talking about laundering money, murder, and department store theft. With not a single staff member in sight. Royally, Fuck Off. (Def my story)

Team Amino won't do a single fucking thing when you file a report to them for anything; for inactive Agent leaders, staff's abuse of power, reporting groomers, etc.

TA's reporting bots are 100% stupid. My Zoro drawing got hidden because it was considered "pornographic." He was in his Santō Ryu pose with his swords while wearing the equivalent of swim shorts and a bandana. Like, "BITCH. This basically his normal attire." (Def my story)

Hotel Hazbin has a minimum age requirement of 16. It's for a mature audience, yeah? The first PSA I see when I get into the Amino is "No 18+ content allowed. To protect the ✨️children✨️😇." MAYBE DON'T ALLOW CHILDREN BELOW THE AGE OF 16 ONTO AN AMINO WITH MATURE SUBJECTS such as prostitution, drug abuse, murder, and alcoholism.¹

I'm only on Amino now to support a friend because he still posts there, but even he's been holding back on drawing his OCs in cool outfits and getting fed up with TA's bullshit and community staffs' hypocrisy. MediaLab, the company that bought Amino App from its original creators, is basically making Amino into a toddlers' app, but not actively doing anything to manage it or make it better.

Voice Chats: degenerate, depraved, toxic. Never experienced it myself, but glad I didn't based on the shit I've heard from others.

Aside from the thirteen to twenty three year olds, there are also the grown 30+ year old "adults" throwing tantrums. I saw one woman complain/rant about how horrible men are and how she was getting a divorce to a chat filled with SIXTEEN (16) year olds. It was just wholy unnecessary to trauma dump on these guys. They're here to roleplay and talk about anime. 💀

¹ Staff can ASK people to add their age/birthday in their "Request to join" message, and if the little shits are lying, that's their fault for causing drama or getting offended in a 16+ Amino. Just ban them and their alt accounts. I left as soon as I read that PSA, I'm not dealing with MORE hypocrisy.

To be clear, I'm not asking for "2 girls, 1 cup" videos (an old porno with scat & golden showers), but at least a sensible audience that can handle mature topics. More than "He died of drug overdose 👍" but less than a detailed description of genitals being mutilated by barbed wire, which is actually referenced in epi.1 of HH.

Profanity and cursing are a part of my issue with Amino communities, but slang doesn't necessarily make people equivalent to adults.

One of the things I think has held me back from shifting is the way people talk about the ‘characters’ they meet. Like I understand why they would call them that, but you’ve actually met them so why are you still using a term used for fictional people? Or when they quote them it’s like something iconic, these people are real! Which means they’re boring!!! Why are they making some kind of “iconic 😭😭 of course they would they say that” comment.

Help me queen 🧎‍♀️ you’re the only shifter I trust for some treason.

hot take: even then, we still romanticise our DR's.

i read your message and am in full agreement with all the things you mentioned. i mean, i understand why some people think of them as characters (since they are fictional here)—which i guess just factors in the way we imagine them: unreachable, unreal. you could say it stems from that mindset that we think they're too good to be true.

they're not iconic, not always perfect. personally, i think we see them that way because we're projecting onto them. they're not always going to be the way we see them in canon media and in fanfiction. i learned this the hard way when i shifted to naruto; one of my favourite people turned out to be misogynistic and another was more a nuisance than i expected.

and the boring part! while things in my DR's get interesting from time to time, it can still get dull.

for me, shifting to hogwarts isn't always magical. sometimes, it's less about plot and more about dealing with painfully handwritten essays and thick tomes to sleep browse through, with hormonal teenagers and leg cramps during class, with smelly locker rooms and slumping in exhaustion as i lie in my dorm.

for me, shifting to naruto isn't always about playing around. it also means having to play petty familial politics, suffering through headaches while working night shifts, sweating under the sun until i pull a muscle, gaining calluses, having sore feet, or even accidentally burning myself.

and shifting to the past. i don't have the comfort of familiarity; no modern technology, no knowledge of getting around the lack of full urbanity. social expectations are different, and even the most civilian of people can become the most dangerous.

believe me, seeing storytimes is always fun, no doubt about that—because it keeps people on their toes. but we need to discuss the uglies about actually shifting to a DR—not necessarily deep topics or even taboo ones, just the boring nonsensical things.

sometimes, things can be overwhelming. sometimes, nothing happens at all. like. it's life. the only difference between a CR and a DR is the starting perks you get at birth. i get why people tailor their content but i think it's harmful if they always show things in a rose-tinted light, even if sometimes it's meant to be satire or dark humour.

i guess that also factors into the whole romanticisation situation. we view our DR's as nothing less than perfect. personally, there's no truly perfect reality, at least nothing that we can come up with. we're flawed creatures, and susceptible to discontent.

we have our moments in our DR's, i won't deny that. I'm not discrediting anyone's experience. but i feel that we should talk about normal everyday life while shifting more, you know?

i think you can start there! in the mundanity of things in your DR, at least, if you want to down on the mindset aspect of your question. try some DR immersion: eat everyday foods from the place you're shifting to, or commit to a good habit you have there. simple things.

there was also this piece of advice i heard somewhere (either here on tumblr or amino); don't imagine the people you're shifting for, imagine the place you're shifting to. they're not here, not in your CR, not physically, and it's a reason why it's seemingly more difficult for some shifters to shift. if you have trouble with that, then try visualising the place instead, because it's something that you can actually recreate, something tangible that you can engage in.

and, most important of all—don't romanticise your DR. it's a trap that we've all fallen inside from time to time, but it just ends up being less productive for most of us.

Well, if you want to count the stint where I did the DnD style thing in 3rd grade, it would be Yu-Gi-Oh!. But if we're going to stick just to writing, then I think my first fandom would actually be Kingdom Hearts? I remember that after I started writing, the idea of using canon characters became unaccepted, and so from then on out, for years, I just wrote with OCs. And all of the communities I joined also promoted more of an OC theme (which is real funny considering that on tumblr OCs get so overlooked). But I remember joining a Kingdom Hearts Amino community recently when I had wanted to share my Kingdom Hearts version of Aku, about the same time that KHIII was coming out. And I realized there were some people there looking for roleplay partners and figured it might be my chance to write Aku and get a feel for her character. So I did. And that was the very first time I had written in a pre-established universe with canon characters. I ended up joining a group in which I took on a multitude of characters (as I wanted to fill in the gaps where needed), and I started to enjoy the idea of playing canon characters again. And believe it or not, The World Ends with You is only the third fandom I've played a character from. The second was Naruto, in which I once again portrayed most of the characters that my partner at the time did not want to.
