Left to my own devices for the evening, I took a Lyfte to the Sour Cellars where I had two flights of the most wonderful beer. Also in the house was a beautiful bulldog called hopper and a very small silky furred pup of no particular breed. I asked Brian (owner) if there were good eats in walking distance. He sent me on a half mile walk to Los Jalapeños to get tacos de buche (tripe.) The evening was cool and not a single bug in sight so I decided to walk 45 minutes to return to our daughter's place.
On the way I saw people crowded around a pop up taco stand with meat being carved off a vertical spit. There was a festival atmosphere and I was a bit sad I was too full to try some street food.
Also...Myungdong Restaurant for the win!

I have found out some things in Ireland. I wanted to challenge myself and suffer from something as I thought I was stable. Therefore I chose Ireland, where only a few Koreans live. Other people say that it is difficult to settle down in Ireland. That's what I came to Ireland.
You guys know in Dublin there are so many foreigners. Even I saw foreigners such as Brazilian, Spanish and Italian than Irish. Ireland is so similar to our country. We were also dominated by the next country and experienced IMF as well. But the present pictures of those are definitely different.
Looking for foreigners in Korea is way more difficult than that in Ireland. In Korea, I have seen foreigners only in myungdong or university. And I have never seen any language school in Korea except for in University.
So I thought living in Korea for foreigners would be a kinda hard thing. You know in Korea there are so many vacancies for part-time jobs. However, have you seen any foreigners working at the store? I have not. That's why I thought that suffering.

Lundi 21 août 2017 : jour 40 : Des p'tits trous, des p'tits trous, toujours des p'tits trous ;)
Aujourd'hui, grosse journee avec un gros programme mais qui s'est décidé tranquille et au fur et à mesure, donc ce n'était pas trop fatiguant et c'était super cool!
Réveil tranquille autour de 10h, nous prenons notre temps pour nous préparer. Nous sortons manger au restau BBQ chicken. Mais pas n'importe lequel, notre BBQ chicken appartient à la famille de Sungyeol, un chanteur qu'Estelle adoooooore
Il y a des grandes photos de lui partout et ce sont ses parents qui tiennent le restau. Nous mangeons délicieusement même si le plat d'Estelle piquait un peu.
Après ce bon repas, nous partons à Hongdae, direction un musée que nous ne ferons finalement pas (trop cher, trop de monde, trop d'hésitations…). Un petit passage à Daiso (si si, rappelez vous, le magasin plein de trucs pas chers qui sont indispensables une fois qu'on les découvre) et nous allons à notre destination principale du jour : “crow piercing”!
Nous avons fait 4 trous en tout. Deux pour Estelle, un pour Pauline et un pour moi. La boutique est super sympa, les gens aussi et on sent qu'ils sont bien expérimentés !
Je passe la première pour un piercing au lobe (un deuxième trou de boucle d'oreille quoi!). Pauline m'accompagne parce que ça me stresse un peu et que j'ai besoin de son avis pour déterminer la place exacte du trou. Le mec fait ça nickel, j'ai rien senti, hop c'est fini. Même pas mal hehe.
C'est ensuite le tour de Pauline qui fait un daith (voir photo, trop technique à expliquer) qui fut légèrement laborieux de par l'étroitesse de l'endroit. La perceuse a bien galéré, ce type de piercing donne du fil à retordre. Mais on sentait qu'elle avait l'habitude. Pauline a eu un tout petit peu mal à cause de la pince qu'elle met pour que ça soit plus accessible, mais sinon même pas mal, hehe (juste un petit bruit dégueu entendu !!)
Estelle est passée la dernière, pour un tragus (le côté de l'oreille) et un hélix (le haut de l'oreille). C'est rentré tout droit tout facile. Elle était un peu crispée pour le premier (heureusement que Pauline était avec elle!) mais nikel pour le deuxième. Même pas mal hehe
Bref, nous ressortons toutes contentes, c'était nikel, pro et vraiment pas cher !
Nous nous dirigeons ensuite vers le quartier d'Ewha, riche en petite boutiques de chaussures et de vêtements. Le pluie se calme et le soleil fait une percée, c'est super agréable! Après une sympathique session shopping, nous prenons une pause dans un espèce de petit parc en dégustant une boisson fraîche (je dis espèce de petit parc parce que les parcs comme chez nous ça n'existe pas vraiment. Il y a bcp (trop) de bétons ici)
Nous prenons ensuite la direction de Myungdong pour une autre session shopping! C'est le quartier par excellence du shopping. Petits stands de nourriture, de vêtements, magasins multiples etc. Nous faisons quelques achats cosmétiques, des bijoux (des piercing, on vient de se faire des trous, il faut bien les remplir!), nous mangeons des nouilles sautées sur un stand et des petits taiyaki en dessert (gâteau en forme de poisson) puis nous rentrons tranquillement à la maison.
Bref, c'était une super journée shopping tranquille! Et depuis aujourd'hui, on est encore plus belles, on a des trucs qui brillent aux oreilles ;)
