I used to go to Perkins once upon a blue moon. I loved getting the French Toast Platter with scrambled eggs, bacon and then I'd pay a bit extra for a side of tots.
I am currently testing to see if I have a gluten intolerance, so I can't eat the french toast anymore. Hopefully I don't, because I'm still sad about having to give up bread.
I'm open to hearing some good gluten free options!

hi v!!!! hmm. my favorite chain restaurant is a difficult question bc i feel like it depends on the day. my first instinct is to say dunkin, but i only go there for coffee, so it feels a little like it’s cheating?
if we’re talking about my favorite restaurant for food... i’m personally really partial to red robin’s bugers. my roommate has celiac’s and they’re one of the few relatively inexpensive options for her to get burgers, and i would die for their haystack tavern burger.

I’m a sucker for the Mad Gabs More. It was one of the very first things I watched of theirs (a friend introduced me). I laughed so hard I couldn’t breath, tears streamed down my face, and I think I peed a little.
I’m thankful for my sick and senior pup finally taking her pills and eating again. She’ll not back to where she was, but she’s definitely going in that direction. Thank fuck for fish skin.
I’m also thankful for @willneverbeordinary for being there for me and being someone I can always talk to without judgement. They’re the best and you all need to know that. Not only are they an excellent writer, but they are so stinking smart and kind.

Right now, I’m grateful for the youtube channel/person Liziqi, because I need that kind of ultimate soothing, cottage-core rural escapism fantasy, with pretty music and a very pretty lady demonstrating tradition Chinese cooking and crafts. Also yay for not-racist Chinese content in this trying time of sinophobia.

It’s hard to choose a favorite GMM episode, but the first ones to pop into my head that always make me laugh and smile are: The Conjoined Twin Challenge (999), Giant Cereal Bowl Bath (736), and Taking a Dust Bath -Experiment (499).
I’m very grateful right now that I have a few family members and friends that I can talk to about anything right now, who understand my anxieties and reassure me in the ways I need it. I hope everyone has someone like that, and anyone who doesn’t, please let me know and I can try to be that for you!
I’m especially grateful that we have the ability to connect with each other through the internet or over the phone while we distance ourselves physically.

It’s so hard to narrow down a favorite episode, but the first one that’s coming to mind at the moment is the Ultimate Sports Bra Test (#1120). Also How to Dance to Attract Girls (#422) never fails to make me smile. 🥰 As for my favorite GMMore, I really love all the mail episodes.
Today I’m grateful for my dog and his company since I will be working/studying from home indefinitely. And I’m grateful that we still have this small corner of the internet where we can connect even as lots of other parts of life have changed wildly and become uncertain. 💙

S'mores hands down. I'm allergic to blueberries, strawberry is way to sweet, I hate cherry, and I lived off brown sugar ones when I had my breakdown in 2016 so they bring back some shit. And S'mores are the only ones I've found that I like. I gave you extra data... you know for science.

oooh, this is a hard one. i have a lot of favorites, so i’ll cheat and give a few different answers...
favorite funny episode: can you escape a straightjacket?
this episode came out shortly after i subscribed to them — i started watching in november of 2015 and subscribed during the break between s8 and s9 — and it ALWAYS makes me laugh when i watch it. it’s so dumb, and i love seeing rhett and the crew mess with link.
favorite deep cut episode: how to share a hotel bed
this is an old episode from the first season, and it’s view count is shockingly low, likely because it was filmed live at vidcon. but it’s rhett and link talking about their experience sharing hotel rooms (and hotel beds) with each other and it’s DELIGHTFUL. if anyone hasn’t seen it, i’d highly recommend it. it features rhett talking in depth about getting spooned by link any time they share a bed.
favorite episode for when i’m sad: chicken noodle soup bath & the cuddling video and cockroach cuddling challenge
this is really cheating bc this is like 2 1/2 episodes but i don’t care, if you want an episode to make you smile or feel soft and cozy when you’re sad, these are the go-to’s
favorite shippy episode: what’s my face challenge
there’s a lot of good shippy episodes, and both the hand holding s’more and the newsicle kiss came really close, but there’s something about the sheer PANIC in rhett’s eyes when link looks him dead in the eyes and says “are you attracted to me, rhett?” that just eclipses everything else for me.
favorite sentimental episode: the whole buies creek documentary but ESPECIALLY part three
i feel like i shouldn’t have to explain this one but this one gets me right in the feelings. rhett and link sitting on the rocks and talking about “renewing their vows”? OOF.
as far as things i’m grateful for right now... i’m grateful for my roommates, tbh? everything sucks right now, but i’m not alone. i have three other people whom i live with and are helping keep me sane and socialized, and also we have a giant crockpot full of chili cooking rn that i’m super excited to tear into.

This is a super old ask, something along the lines of “Tell me what AU you associate me with and I will write a snippet of it”. Good luck finding the ask V, but I wrote this for you! I hope you enjoy this!

They say that when you reach the tender age of five, you hear it. The phrase that you'll say to your other half, your soulmate. Some people find it's something as simple as "Hi, my name is," to something complicated like, "That will be $7.65." Rhett was hoping he would have something a little more tailored than a simple, "By all means."
He heard himself say that, every year on his birthday for the last thirty-six years. Waking him from his restful sleep, "By all means." He huffed and shoved a hand through his unruly curls.
The blond huffed rolling his eyes before continuing on with his life. Another year, another birthday passes behind him in a blur of phone calls. Another year where he gets dumped when his partner finds their real soul mate.
"By all means? Who even says that shit anymore?" he slammed his fridge shut.
Not only had he been dumped earlier that week, but his car had broken down and he had to take public transportation. As tall a man as he is, that's an actual nightmare. But he had to wait for them to sort out a rental for him. Another rough hand through his curls. Curse the fates, curse dumb ideals of everyone finding their other halves.
Life was just a shitty slideshow of missed chances and false hopes. And tiny ass buses.
Tiny ass buses not designed for anyone taller than the average height, which, fair. But Rhett's a big man with a lot of leg.
Rhett slid into one of the seats and dropped his suitcase next to him on the bus. Wincing every time the bus found even the smallest bump in the road, slamming his knees into the seat in front of him.
The bus slowly filled up with more people, but no one seemed to want to sit next to the scowling man. The tall blond giant hissing in pain.
The bus pulled to another stop, and Rhett barely glanced towards the door, when he felt his heart lodge in his throat. Three people in was the most stunning man he'd ever seen in his life. Soft salt and pepper hair pushed up from his forehead in a gentle swoop. Blue eyes twinkling behind dark frames. Perfectly pink lips spread into an open laugh that made his toes curl.
Rhett quickly turned his head away as the people filed onto the bus, there was no way he had a chance. That man, that vision of beautiful masculinity, probably already met his other half and was happy. No person so radiant without another person to draw it out.
"May I?" a voice called from beside him.
The blond turned to look at the beautiful man who just got on the bus, the man was smiling beside him and pointing at Rhett's briefcase. The blond scrambled to haul his possession into his lap, "By all means."
Rhett's eyes went round as the beautiful man sat down, there was no way. He had just said it because he was thinking about it!
Their thighs brushed together and blue eyes sparkled as they turned to Rhett's shocked face, "My name is Link. I was wondering about your phrase."
Rhett could feel his jaw drop as the man beside him laughed.
"I take it that was it huh?" Link pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "If you don't mind, I'd love to get to know my other half, maybe starting with his name? If possible?"
The blond blinked rapid fire, "Rhett. Rhett McLaughlin. I... How?"
The dark haired man laughed again, and it lit Rhett up like a Christmas tree. "Well, why don't we get dinner and talk about it? Is that alright with you Rhett?"
Rhett could only nod his head as the two men exchanged information. Soulmates were real, not just a false hope created by bored gods. The blond was going to grasp this opportunity and live it to its fullest.
