backstory:She was born in a small town in Georgia to a salon owner mother and a restaurant owner father with no siblings. She showed interest in fashion and beauty at a young age. This prompted her mother to sign her up for beauty pageants and pressure her from a young age to always look beautiful and presentable. She started modeling at six when she got a job modeling for a small magazine company. She grew up constantly stressing about her appearance and developed body dysmorphia in her teens. Her father was a comfort to her growing up and offered her a break from her overbearing mother constantly stressing about her appearance.
She was well liked by her peers and had lots of friends but only really felt close and comfortable with a few people. She discovered her queer identity when she was 11 and she watched “Confessions of a teenage drama queen” and saw Megan Fox. She never came out to her mother but like kind of came out to her father. She travels often for her modeling jobs but she stays most of the time in Atlanta.

i discovered your music through one of my mutuals on tiktok, and i cannot express how much joy it brings me!! your vocals are so awesome and emotional, it's like i can feel your music. and your instrumentals are making me want to go back to practicing guitar so i can play some of your songs :D
beyond just enjoying your music, whenever i listen to you my brain teleports into the space where i can think about my own ocs! i've been struck by the lightning bolt of inspiration so many times while listening to "And the Hound" and "Neath the grove is a heart" particularly. i've already told you this, but I might honestly write my own songs about my ocs because of you!

ᰍ overall notables. plays an electric guitar (named it delune). has a bloodhound named babydoll and a doberman named yìzé. works as a part-time music teacher for 2nd - 3rd graders, but recently started going to school for a career in interior design. asanbosam’s (the type of vampire he is) are more agile in trees and high places, so he’s kind of clumsy otherwise. often recommends products (notably the brand anzhong, originated by xīn’yuè ànzhōng), random organization tips, or even seasonings. considers calling off of work a lot, though he knows if he does they’re bound to fire him “this time”. circe also doesn’t socialize too much, and he’s very territorial about his home (and so is yìzé— wonder where he gets that from). he’s a little too territorial actually, seeing as circe usually sucks the blood of/eats any trespassers that ignore his precaution signs, in au’s that are mythical allowing. he does so by jumping down from a nearby tree and pinning them. (even friends get tackled if they don’t give him a heads up that they’re on the way!)
ᰍ standard physical facts. 6'3. retractable wings with a 20 foot span, which are black and grey with red, pink and silver undertones, and retractable iron hooks for feet. tips of his hair turn auburn when he’s experiencing intense emotions. always smells like anzhong products- particularly colognes. has a chinese tattoo on his inner forearm that translates to damu héxián qín. his nails are painted black, but they get chipped easily because he’s really hands-on daily. lastly, he has a deep, relaxed and very distinctive voice which can be heard here!
დ genshin au notables! he’s spoken of in legends and campfire stories, but as “fang” rather than circe. legends speak of him hooking his prey from treetops and consuming them like he’s the devil herself. however, as of now this is more of a myth. he’s a clean eater, hehe. these stories originated from a period of his past where he had no control of his primal instincts, leaving him to appear as a beastly night terror to all, which he was. presently, he dwells in a custom built cottage in the forest of sumeru, peacefully enjoying his solitude and pleasures. circe has various signs throughout the terrain which warn people of trespassing; company isn’t appreciated in excess. trespassers in the forest rarely come back out alive. not many others live nearby, either. his only neighbors are xipe’va, whom his bloodhound enjoys relaxing with on the porch (his doberman, not so much). tighnari and love, who’s a minor oc of neso’s, are somewhat nearby though, performing their forest ranger duties and such, so he hangs with them now and again. he’s also good friends with jihane, whom lives in sumeru city and often discusses philosophy with him. oh, and his two boyfriends, indigo and xīn’yuè, live in liyue and inazuma respectively.

დ studio ghibli au notables! his position here depends on the movie, so i won't describe each one here, as it's not all definitive due to my experimental nature. he'll more than likely be written in tales from earthsea, the wind rises, howl's moving castle, and my neighbor totoro.
დ modern au notables! he’s currently going to school at a local trade school in california. he lives in xīn’yuè’s penthouse with him and indigo, as well as blumei, maju, babydoll, yìzé, and (once in a while) yúyīn. he sleeps in with indigo whenever he can and enjoys quiet mornings where the girls are at school, the dogs don’t have any zoomies, and everything from the cleanliness of him and the house to the smell of his coffee is just right. however, xīn’yuè is always forcing him to go to work, scolding his lethargy and indigo’s encouragement of it. luckily, no one has to remind circe to be on time for his interior designing classes, as he’s genuinely passionate about it. since he’s not a vampire here, and instead just has traits that resemble a vampire, circe enjoys halloween and spooky themes. he also bites his lovers when bored, was naturally born with his canines being pointer than usual, and is scarily skilled at climbing and maneuvering on the monkey bars or climbing trees. he loves evening/night walks, partially because his skin is still sensitive to excessive heat. the california sun will provoke an eczema-like condition just like in mythical au’s but to a normal extent. he’d rather get caught in the fricking rain.

Not Your Fault (Platonic Ben x Carley)

(i wrote this in like an hour but <333 them)
The RV was silent. After Lilly had pulled a gun on Carley and attempted to shoot her, Lee had made the executive decision to leave her behind. If Lilly could just try to kill one of their own, with no real reasoning behind it, then who was to say she wouldn’t do it in their sleep? Who was to say Lilly wouldn’t slowly kill them all, one by one? They couldn’t trust her anymore.
But Lee wasn’t sure that it was the right choice, even still. To abandon a mentally ill woman on the side of the road… there was no textbook right or wrong, but it still felt wrong. His gaze fell towards the back of the RV, watching Carley as she sat across from Ben and his girlfriend, Coral. Carley seemed undisturbed. Far too accepting of what had just happened. His thoughts don’t linger on it long, not when Ben’s left alone with the woman. He tried not to make it obvious he was watching, his arm protectively wrapped around Clementine, the other around Duck.
“Are… are you okay?” Ben asked her, hesitant. Lilly had almost killed her. Because of him. Because of his actions. He felt like guilt was ripping him apart, and yet, Carley had the audacity to smile at him. To look at him with a gentle smile that Ben knew he didn’t deserve.
“I’m okay, Ben. Still standing, aren’t I?” Carley remarked, her tone light, trying to tease him a little. She knew the truth. Lilly wouldn’t just openly accuse people if it was her. Kenny wasn’t a good actor, and Katjaa just wasn’t stupid enough to do something so dangerous. They had only just gotten Coral, a gift from the dead raiders — she had been their prisoner. Lee was the only other plausible option besides Ben, but Carley knew it wasn’t him. That would endanger Clementine. Lee would never put that girl in danger.
“She could’ve… she almost…”
“I know. But she isn’t here to hurt any of us anymore, so try not to worry too much.”
Ben went silent for a moment, watching her with uneasy eyes. She had to know it was him, and yet, she was being so kind. Why? A kindness he didn’t deserve. He had endangered her life, and he had gotten Katjaa and Duck hurt. And the worst part? He didn’t regret it. Knowing Coral was here, knowing she was safe, took away every ounce of guilt that lingered. Well, maybe not every ounce, but certainly most of it.
“I’m okay, Ben.” Carley reached across the table, placing a hand over his folded hands. She offered that small smile to him again. “Are you?”
“Am I… what?” Ben’s brows furrow, despite the fact that he knows exactly what she’s really asking. It’s confirmed when she doesn’t speak, just holds his gaze. “Why wouldn’t I be? My girlfriend’s alive, I- I’m great, Carley.”
“You don’t seem okay.”
“Well, I am,” Ben insisted, trying to sound confident in himself. His voice wavered slightly. But why wouldn’t he be okay? That’s what he was telling himself. After all, Coral was alive. He was alive. Carley, Clementine, Lee and Kenny were all alive. Duck was hurt, but he was alive. Katjaa… was bitten. His gaze diverted from Carley towards the front of the RV, towards where Katjaa and Kenny were sitting.
Carley watched his gaze shift across the RV. “Ben, it’s not your-“
“Just- please leave me alone, Carley,” Ben decided, though he didn’t withdraw his hands from the one she had still resting on top. He stared down at their hands.
“It’s not your fault, Ben. Everything happened so fast,” Carley insisted, carefully squeezing his hand. Her heart ached when Ben lifted his gaze, saddened eyes meeting hers.
“It is,” he argued quietly, his voice shaking some.
“It’s not,” Carley insisted again, her voice softening to match his quieting tone. “I know it feels like it, but it isn’t. You can’t beat yourself up over this, over an accident.”
“But-“
“I know, Ben. I know.” Carley stood up, letting go of his hand and walking around to sit next to him.
He said nothing, closing his eyes and leaning his head against the woman’s shoulder. He sank further against her when she wrapped her arm around him, rubbing his arm to silently comfort him.
“Get some sleep, Ben. God knows you need it,” Carley told him, still quietly rubbing his arm. She smiled, faintly, when the boy didn’t argue and stayed against her side, trying to rest.
