Taken from here
How did your muse meet their first pokémon? Charlotte being a new Team Plasma member at the time, met 3 Pokemon at the same time instead of just one that she still has today after she passed the tests to get in.
Do they own any proper starter pokémon? No
Does your muse have any special pokémon? [Shiny, different coloured, different typed [Delta Species], breed variants, etc] No.
Does your muse name their pokémon? Is there any theme to their names if so? Yes. Bandit and Jewel have names to do with thieves. Chomper has his name because he bites people he doesn't like.
Do they keep their pokémon in their pokéballs, or allow them to roam freely? Charlotte doesn't keep her Pokemon in balls, except when it's for their safety.
Do they have a favorite pokéball type? No
What type does your muse specialize in, if any? None
Which Pokémon is considered your muse’s ace? None of them.
Which pokémon species do they love the most, if any? Do they own one? Charlotte doesn't have a favourite
Has your muse ever met a legendary pokémon? If so, what happened? No.
Has your muse ever lost one of their pokémon? If so, how did it happen? If Bandit and Jewel slinking off to get into mischief when she takes her eyes off of them count, it's happened too many times to explain.
Which berry is their favorite? How do they like to eat it? [On its own, in a pie, smoothie, etc]
Has your muse ever traveled outside of their hometown? How about their home region? Yes
What are your muse’s opinions on battling? Charlotte won't ostracise anyone for battling their Pokemon as long as the Pokemon are treated well and are happy. She personally doesn't battle hers ever since she left Team Plasma.
What trainer class would your muse fall under?
Is your muse part of an evil team? If not, would they join one? Why or why not?
Does your muse personally know a famous trainer, past simply challenging them? [League member, protagonist, contest star, etc] No. Charlotte doesn't know the protagonist's pass being acquaintances that bump into each other now and then and talk.
Has your muse taken the league challenge? If so, what happened? No.
Does your muse have any pokémon that you, the mun, have used in any of your playthroughs? No.
Did you give your muse any of your favorite pokémon? No.
Do you follow the headcanon that real animals exist in the pokémon world? Why or why not? TBD
Do you follow the headcanon that certain ghost pokémon used to be human? [Yamask, gengar, etc] TBD
Do you believe that all pokémon are capable of human speech [even if limited], or only certain species? TBD
How literal do you think the pokédex is? TBD

//Hello and welcome! I’m Kat, the mun here at pokemonmarekregion and this blog is currently under construction.
What will it be? I’m glad you asked!
The purpose of this blog is to provide a unique roleplay experience for muses in the Pokémon RPC, as well as any muses with a Pokémon verse as well, where you can roleplay your way through a Pokémon Journey of your own initiative. Not just taking on the Gym Challenge, but breeding, collecting, hitting up the Contest Hall and more - you’re only limited by your imagination!
Here, you will find yourself in a sandbox of my making containing the following:
a unique map with 15 towns and multiple extended areas including the traditional lake, forest, tunnels and mines
eight gym leaders from this specific region, with a full elite four and champion
a regional Pokédex containing 400+ existing Pokémon spread out over the region
many varied NPCs, from fellow trainers to Contest Coordinators, Nursery Staff, and a Pokémon Professor ready to lead you on your own journey - whatever path that may be!
This blog will begin to see updates as content is finished, so feel free to hit that follow, and hit up the ask or submission if you have any input you want to add!

Starter Pokémon!
Theoretically, part of Magnolia’s job as the regional professor was to discover and support new trainers. In practice, she didn’t do it often; Galar’s endorsement system meant that people who wanted to become trainers usually applied to a gym apprenticeship. (For my Magnolia, I hold that the Regional Professor is a league position and she can endorse trainers if she wants, but I’m willing to go with my partner’s headcanons if they think otherwise.)
A young person could ask Magnolia for a starter Pokémon if they wanted. She’d sit down with them, ask a few questions, and make sure they were ready to care for a Pokémon. If they were, she would give them their choice of the starters and a Pokédex. Theoretically, trainers get a starter under the presumption that they’ll be helping with the Pokédex project, but nobody’s enforcing whether the trainers actually help.
Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey can only be legally obtained in Galar through licensed breeders. These Pokémon are considered excellent partners as well as strong battlers, but they are very expensive to get. Having one is a sign of privilege — either the trainer has means, or they impressed someone who does. When Magnolia was still actively researching, she had contracts with breeders who would give her the Pokémon if she asked.
I’m not sure Magnolia gave Leon and Sonia traditional starter Pokémon. My Magnolia would have, but I’ll leave it up to other muns if they want to include that for their muses’ teams.

What are your muse’s opinions on battling?
Summer shrugged. "I'm not much of a battler, but other people like it, so good for them."
How literal do you think the pokédex is?
Summer laughed. "The Pokedex, while it can be useful, definitely needs some improvements."
Wildcard! Mun gives a headcanon about their favorite pokémon.
If a Mimikyu is in a region where a Pokemon is clearly more popular than Pikachu, it will adapt accordingly.

WHO’S THAT POKEMON? ::
It’s Professor Go! Hello dear trainers!
I’ve spent a large part of my adult life researching all the Korean Pokémon regions, but you know, my learning never stops. I learn something new every day, even if I go to the same district over and over again. However, I’ve gotten very busy as of late and I haven’t had the time to do as much field research as I’d like. So, I’ve decided to do some outsourcing! This is where you come in, dear trainer. I’d like you to head out to any district you like and learn about what kinds of wild pokémon you can encounter out there. You’re free to keep any pokémon you capture, just make sure to scan them into your pokédex and send that information over to me!
-- Professor Go, Ph.D
COMPLETING THE PROMPT ::
First, please take a look at the district blurbs on the locations page to see what pokémon types can be found where. Once you’ve done that, submit the following form to the main blog with the title “Wild Encounter”.
District :: Any purchased items? :: (more info below) If so, link to muse’s points page :: Total cost ::
Wild encounters in and of itself are free, however, if you would like to increase the chances of getting a pokémon you actually like, you can purchase some of the items below. Otherwise, your encounter will be randomly generated from the pokémon types that are available in the district you chose. Legendaries, mythical pokémon, and any rares listed on this page can not be caught -- but otherwise, a large majority of pokémon are available through wild encounters!
honey (5 pkd) :: attracts a specific type of pokémon agave nectar (15 pkd) :: attracts a specific pokémon repel (5 pkd) :: avoids a specific pokémon super repel (10 pkd) :: avoids 5 specific pokémon
After you submit your form, an admin will generate a pokémon for you and submit a message from the Professor to your muse from the prof-go blog. From there, you simply thread the wild encounter however you like (you can even thread it with a partner if you want), then leave it open-ended after your muse throws a pokéball at them. An admin will reply with whether or not the catch was successful. You get three tries to capture a pokémon.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT ::
If you’re not satisfied with the wild pokémon you caught, you’re free to give it to the Professor and we will give you an extra five pokédollars in exchange. The pokémon will then be put up for adoption at the Professor’s adoption center for other muns to purchase.
However, if you are satisfied with the pokémon you caught, it’s all yours!
Regardless of your choice, as long as your encounter was completely randomized, you will receive five pokédollars for completing this prompt!
If your encounter wasn’t randomized and you keep it, you will not receive the extra pokédollars for completing the prompt. However if your encounter wasn’t randomized and for whatever reason you decide you don’t want to keep it, we will refund you the items you purchased along with the pokédollars for completing the prompt.
This prompt can be completed multiple times, but we will be limiting it to once per muse a week.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the admins!
