Sharing my Owl House MTG custom cards with all of y’all. I’m in the process of printing these for use in a Commander cube themed to the show. Currently I have 28 cards in the set: due to limitations on image posts I’m going to reboot this multiple times to cover them all. Starting with the Hexside gang plus Vee.

'Seasonal Fears' is McGuire's next book of incarnated concepts and dark alchemy, this time following a boy and girl who could become Summer and Winter... if they can survive the trials ahead, and the dangers from their past. I love the slow buildup here, both the explanation of the world, and the tension in the journey they're on. There's not a huge climax in this story, so much as a constant sense that if they can just hang on long enough, they can survive and grow into their powers, and I really enjoyed being on the journey with them.

So, I did another Magic Thing:

Ever since Twilight was shown, I wanted to build a Commander Deck with her, and let me tell you: I *hate* Commander. 100 individual cards? So much mana balancing? So much removal? So many goddamn staples?? I hate staples! But hell, Twilight did it for me.

So I printed them, and it works! I'm really glad.

Printing these Proxies is always a highlight.

Anyway, I'm never building a Commander Deck again. Cube all the way, babyyyyyyyy
