⚠ MS MARVEL 106 SPOILERS ⚠
Alright…
I honestly was not expecting much of this episode but since Iman said it was good, I decided to believe it was.
And i was not disappointed. Like, the first thing we see is Kamala's family supporting her, her mom giving her a suit. Ms. Marvel's suit. I'm sorry if I'm emotional.
Nakia calls her asking if she's known something about Bruno, she says no and goes looking for him.
I liked that joke with the red light. Ngl.
Nakia, you're a hero and I love you. How you had everyone showing their id's to DC. Nice.
I also loved that disguise reference with the caps. They only needed a pair of shades and they would be unrecognizable.
Zoe joining them was something I did not expect but liked.
Wait a gOD DAMN MINUTE! Deever was told to back down. She got a call specifically to be told that. And she didn't!! She decided to fully attack kids hiding in a school. She even called the special unit!
I also did not expect Zoe going live for her followers to help, even less having those following actually helping.
I just-- I really liked those sonic weapons DC had.
I hated with all my heart that almost kiss between Kamala and Kamran. I hated that Bruno saw it, realizing he interrupted them.
Dude, when her power made it seem like her body expanded I was so excited.
And her, saving Kamran, buying him time so he could get out of there and to Kareem. Ily girl.
Also, those people running to her to create a wall between her and DC? Yes! We love to see that! Even the cops were in the front line!
And this f-ing agent was called out. Probably fired and I hope reported. I also hate her.
Bruno left this letter? inside a locker. I'm betting it is Kamala's locker and the letter says he's going to Calthec.
Kamala = Kamal = perfect = wonder = MARVEL. “Our little Ms. Marvel.” ajsñdkdñs.
That fRAME!! Just like the poster. Just like the cover. ✨ Art ✨
STOP EVERYTHING, Y'ALL!! THERE'S SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN KAMALA'S GENETICS. I THOUGHT BRUNO WOULD SAY “SOMETHING INHUMAN” BUT HE SAID “A MUTATION” AND IM SIRE I WOKE THE WHOLE BLOCK UP WOTH MY SCREAM.
I know we already had Professor Xavier in MOM, but now, in the 616 of the MCU, we have MUTANTS, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.
I don't know if I'm totally okay with that post-credit? Like, I saw people saying Kate Bishop was gonna be there and I let myself believe it.
I also believed with all my heart there were gonna be some Skrulls and I was again disappointed.
But having Carol Danvers in Kamala's room, saying “Oh, no, no, no.” And bursting out of the picture was something I did not expect AT ALL. No what?
Edit: I just remembered one of Kamala's powers is polymorphism so it was not actually Carol in her room. I apologize. Xd

Of siren songs and human flaws A few weeks ago the world of science was rattled – and rattled seems like the right word – by the discovery of gravitational waves, a culmination of Einstein’s general theory of relativity which the great man predicted a hundred years ago. The waves came from the collision of two black holes, an event of woefully cataclysmic magnitude, releasing energy billions of trillions of times that produced by the sun. Go to Amazon
A readable account of the rise of LIGO and the detection of gravitational waves A well-written and informative description of the long struggle to build the two large laser interferometers that recently detected (twice!) the gravitational radiation emitted by the collision of two black holes. The book was actually written before the first of those detections, but, in a stroke of luck for all concerned, soon enough to enable an epilog describing it. Throughout, the author maintains a healthy balance between the geeky details (which she explains clearly enough for the non-geek to fully grasp) and the personalities, and clash of personalities, of the main participants. In contrast to most popular science books, this one devotes substantial space to a recounting of the budgetary ups and downs that beset any large project of this kind, with no guarantee of a successful completion. Add to that the very real possibility that the instrument in question might very well not have detected anything, simply because events violent enough to be detectable are just too rare, and you have the making of a suspenseful story, albeit one where we have already looked ahead to assure ourselves of a happy ending. Go to Amazon
Highly recommended Ms. Levin beautifully covers the story of an historic scientific accomplishment. The concept of how black holes form, and how they affect space and time, can be difficult to comprehend, but Levin explains it in a way most people can understand without being overwhelmed. The same goes for the theory, design, and construction of the instruments used to detect them. She tells the interesting tale of the often difficult politics and personalities behind the building of the two LIGO, which have recently made ground-breaking discoveries that confirmed thoeries and justified all the effort and expense it took to create them. This is a worthy history of a landmark in scientific achievement, with a first-hand account from its pioneers. Go to Amazon
Gravitational Saga Loses Power An important revelation of the personal obsessions, relationships and power plays of the scientists involved in the long and frustrating search for gravity waves. Sadly the writing becomes convoluted, repetitious and endless. Go to Amazon
Ok... but not quite what I was expecting. After seeing Dr. Levin on StarTalk, I decided to check out some of her writings. This particular offering, while good in it's own right, isn't quite what I expected. Dr. Levin often in places seems to go off the rails a bit in the background stories opting to go into quite a bit of detail about how different characters were always at odds with one another for their professional careers. While this information is certainly true (and, after all, to quite to be expected) she seems to harbor on this point for an extended period of time. Go to Amazon
I GO LIGO! This is a great, beautifully written, history of the creation of the instruments that opened a whole new window on astronomy, as told through the lives of their principal architects. There is, in fact, not much here about black holes, but the writing is almost poetical. As an old astrophysics instrumentalist, I would have liked to have seen more details about mirror suspension and noise rejection, but that might have ruined it for a general audience. Read this book! It's timing was impeccable: the expected observations came just as the writing was ending. Success after 50 years! Go to Amazon
Levin's book offered a unique and very personal window into ... Levin's book offered a unique and very personal window into the LIGO's history, which mainly focussed on the relationships between Ron Drever, Kip Thorne, and Rai Weiss. Their stories, triumphs, conflicts, together with the way in which LIGO grew to a 1,000-member collaboration, makes for a truly compelling read. Go to Amazon
Black Hole Blues From the very beginnings of LIGO and the "Plywood Labs" as a defense funded project to the current incarnation as a new instrument to see "what was previously unseen." The book is a testament to those that are on the forefront of expanding the frontiers of knowledge and all that it implies. Go to Amazon
Four Stars but she is a brilliant woman in her field The 'human' side of LIGO, if that's what you're after. One Star Five Stars Marvelous story. Makes me wish I were a couple ... Five Stars Totally enjoyed it. Fascinating history of LIGO, but I am hoping she published the the technical sequel! Two Stars

⚠ MS MARVEL 102 SPOILERS ⚠
Alright…
I did not miss today's episode and thank gOD! Because there're some things to talk about.
Kamala's entrance was so cool. Like, the confidence. I swear I thought it was all a daydream and she'd get hit in the face with that basketball ball or something.
Kamran. Who's he? Why is Kamala looking at him? Why am I not hugging Bruno rn? Too many questions.
So, her training sequence is just ✨ art ✨. And I'm sure that, if I ever got superpowers, I'll look just the same.
But, did you have to make me cry with that “Please, let me go.” reference, KK?
Well, she apologized to her mom, which I appreciate, but I would have liked to see her apologizing to her dad as well.
Ugh. Details.
Kamran called Bruno, Brian. I really shouldn't be mad about it but, here I am, mad about it.
But, the fact that he gave Kamala a “driving lesson” kinda compensates it.
Bruno got into Calthec, and at first you're like wHAT? That's awesome dude! And then you see him ask if he can think about it.
Anyway, Kamala and Kamran are talking about movies and I'm so happy that Kingo movies were the ones they were talking about.
Dude, I'm actually liking this guy rn. The way he just said that to Aamir, how he didn't ask her questions as to why say that… yeah, I've got a feeling that I'll somehow regret this new trust on him.
So, the bangle belonged to her great grandmother, the one they don't talk about at home, no, no.
You read that singing? No? Me neither.
Nakia, her ✨ manipulation skills ✨. She's a natural politician.
I did feel bad for Zoe. Like, these people didn't have enough with Peter (they forgot but whatever) and now they want to get to Kamala and do what? I hate them already.
The Illumin-aunts (was that their name?) take gossiping too far. It's way more dramatic than one would think.
Now, are we gonna ignore the fact that it was the kids fault? Why would he try to get a photo like that? And that far from the ground? Smh.
I love how she tried to distract the kid and focus on something else. Very Spider-Man-like. #iapprove
Which leads me to: Ice cream pizza? Could any of you confirm if that tastes good? Because I'm not sure I'd like the final texture.
Did you see that superhero landing? *Yelena's voice* She's such a poser.
She saw her great grandmother and I was afraid the kid would fall and everyone would blame her for that.
Luckily, she saved him again. The only thing broken apparently, was his ankle. But he'll live.
Drones? Seriously? You're hunting my girl with drones?!
Now, nOW!!!1!1!! Kamran? What the f--? His-- his mom? What's happening? What's going on here? Why did she know about Kamala? Too many questions again!!!

⚠ MS MARVEL 103 SPOILERS ⚠
So…
1942, Kamala's great grandmother is looking for the bangle. She along with Kamran's mom and these other people.
Who say Aisha was from another dimension and so are they. Which makes sense if they were that exact age in the 40s.
Kamran said Kamala is adorable and I kinda love him for that. Like, that seemed legit.
But still, I know I can't trust these people. There's just something in my gut saying they're a little suspish.
Ngl, I laughed at that Djinn and tonic joke. Plus, that “I'll help those ghosts and their average-looking son.”
Here people, Nakia to the rescue!!
This disrespectful Damage Control woman and her retinue, stepping on the carpet, trying to intimate everyone fully knowing they didn't have an order and therefore no right to look for Kamala in there.
Thankfully Nakia likes Law & Order and learned a thing or two that helped them get rid of these a**holes.
Kamalas dad read that Djinn info Bruno was collecting and just by looking at the guy's face, you know something is off. Like, you don't even have to pay attention to what KK's dad is saying.
Bruno realized these people were up to something and that's enough for me.
And talking about Bruno (you get it? Because we don't talk about-- okay), he tells Kamala that he got into Caltech and that he thinks he should go.
He also says that he wants to help, today. And that if Carol Danvers were to help these people just because she would be reckless and that it's a good thing Kamala is not her.
Now, let me just… *clears* I kNEW THIS WOMAN WAS BAD!! I KNEW IT IN MY BONES!!!
Also, sorry, Kamran, for doubting you.
I LOVED the dance at the wedding, and I lived more Bruno being involved. I love him, have I told you?
I want to give a special thank you to Kamran for warning Kamala. It would have been carnage having him not do that.
The highlight of the episode was that fighting / persecution scene with ✨ Living On A Prayer ✨. Good, great, amazing, spectacular.
Wait a sec. Is Nakia suspecting? Cause I'm sure she is.
DID YOU SEE THAT FIRST GLIMPSE OF THE SUIT?!?? I ALMOST SCREAMED. It's gonna be a summonin suit!!
I kinda laughed when Kamran said Kamala should take Brian out and Bruno was like “He says my name wrong on purpose.”
At LEAST Damage Control did something right arresting them!! Though I feel bad for Kamran. Poor boy, he just wanted to help.):
So, Kamala's grandma saw the train too. I bet she's gonna explain everything to her in the next episode. Can't wait!!

⚠ MS MARVEL 104 SPOILERS ⚠
Alright…
Poor Kamala, she's going to Pakistan and had no opo to explain everything to Nakia. To whom, she sent like a thousand texts and is not answering.
So, the bangle saved her grandma, uhm? That trail of stars was (for what I understand) like the power unleashing. If you know what u mean by that.
And this super secret boy band (see what I did there?), the Red Daggers. I learned not to trust people at first but they seem nice. Like, genuinely nice.
And their purpose is to protect the world from the unseen. Isn't it everyone's job here?
When Waleed explained that the Clandestines wanted to use the bangle to bring down the wall I had these ACOTAR flashbacks. Sorry. Re-reading them atm.
And talking about the Clandestines, they escaped from the Damage Control center.
And left Kamran behind. Well, at least they didn't leave him inside.
Now nOW!! Marvel honey, you cannot just show me a nice guy with long hair helping the MC and expect me not to fall for him. What were you thinking?
Kareem, I just met you but I already love you.
Okay but that Mom / Kamala moment. 🥺❤️
Kamala's “I knew you were gonna murder me” to Kareem is the equivalent of Ross' “I knew you'd be my death, Phoebe Buffay” in Friends.
Was it I lt me thinking that? K.
Waleeeeeeeeeeeeed.): I kNEW one of them wouldn't make it. And I'm sad because I was right.
Mostly because Kamala wanted to go back for him and Kareem told her that it was too late.
But that running / fighting sequence was sooo cool.
Wait a minute. What happened? I don't believe the bangle transped her. Is it a vision? I mean, it obviously is but how did it happen? Why is she watching it?
Too many people again!!
I missed Bruno btw. Looking forward to see him in the next episode.

⚠ MS MARVEL 101 SPOILERS ⚠
Alright…
Yes, I didn't watch it today at 2am bc I fell asleep. I'm old, leave me alone.
Anyway, dID YOU SEE MOONKNIGHT IN THE M OF MARVEL IN THE OPENING?!???!? AAHSSÑSKLS.
Got excited. Sorry.
I love that they added Blinding Lights and not only for the trailer.
Kamala being a hard core fangirl is such a mood. Like, I can totally see myself doing that (I'm not good at drawing but ykwim).
Also, i know for a fact that my driving test would go the same way. I wouldn't make it to the next block without hitting something.
This dude called her “Camelia” and, he was there for half a second but I already hate him.
Now, Bruno is a bay and i love him. Something happens to him and I go riot. K?
Uuugh. I relate to Kamala in this. I know what is like to have strict parents and growing up like that. I feel ya, girl.
I. Just. Love. How the text messages and Kamala's plan shows with this changing art and neon lights on the streets. They're dope!!
Now, nOW!! Did you see the belt? She was about to add it when her parents entered her room. Añdkdkñd.
And talking about her parents, ngl, I did feel bad for them. Like, they were going to let her go with their conditions and i know it was a wrong way to express her thoughts but we get it.
And the fact that she said that she made her dad cry just gives me this unsettling feeling. Idk, I've mentioned this in the past. I hate the idea of grown ass men crying. It makes me wanna join them.
But well, her plan with the bus didn't go as planned, obviously. And even though I felt bad for her bike, it was a funny touch.
I'm gonna mention just a few of the references I catched from the AvengersCon:
The Star Spangled Man song, the girls from the Stark Expo, that card? with America's ass, the iconic “I can do this all day”.
And I'm sure there are more but I'll check them later.
Okay but, ✨ Zoe's costume ✨ The original (sort of) Ms Marvel costume.
I got scared for a moment with the giant Ant-Man's head started moving, then I was like “okay, they're cheering, it's all cool”, then it moved a vain and it fell and caused the giant Mjölnir to play a wrecking ball and drag Zoe with it and i was scared again.
Luckily (and obviously) Kamala saved her.
And i don't know why people complained about her powers and why they were changed. They look so f-ing cool. They look cOSMIC!
Did you see the art in those credits? The Kamala from the comics? I mean *chef kiss*.
And last but not least… *clears throat* WTF was that post-credit scene? Who are these people and why do they want to bring her in? Mind your own business, floks and leave my girl alone.
Or don't. I wanna see what happens next.

⚠ MS MARVEL 105 SPOILERS ⚠
Okaaaay…
There's not really much I can say about this episode. Did I like it? Yes. Was it memorable? Not really. But I liked it a bit more than the last one.
Now, the opening was very WandaVision-ish. Wasn't it? And i mean the colors, not the info we were given.
Aisha was running. Running from the Clandestines because she had the bangle and knew the plan to go back home wouldn't work.
Time jump and we see her pregnant, then with a baby and I just love the way she sang to Sana in her mother tongue. Again very WandaVision-ish.
Aaaand we see the reason they left. Why they got in that train and I would have done the same.
So, SO! Kamala DID time travel. She saved her grandma, she was the reason her grandma saw that trail of stars leading her to her dad.
Wait a second. Is that it? Is that Najma's redem arc? The power of love strikes again!
Buuut I was not expecting that happening to Kamran.
What was it that happened to Kamran, again? The power of the Veil? His mom somehow gave him powers? I'm so confused rn.
Kareem gave her his… scarf (don't come at me, I don't know how to translate that word at 3 am). Told her that if she ever needs help he's just a call away. That Waleed would be proud of her. I love him you, your honor.
Ajdlflfkd. The Ms. Marvel symbol. Kamala's necklace broke and… i love these kinda things you guys.
Muneeba, I too would run after Bon Jovi. Barefoot of needed be.
Gotta admit that I panicked for a second thinking that was the end. Everything was way too peaceful. Too suspish.
Then, bAM! Bruno is back. Hi, baby, I missed you!
And Kamran is with him. He went to him because he did the know where else to go.
He also told Bruno about Damage Control, that his mom wouldn't abandon him like some kind of orphan (which makes me sad knowing what happened to her and that she, indeed, abandoned him).
Also, i loved his expression, full of remorse, for calling him Brian. He legitimately thought that was Bruno's name.
Kamran was followed. That f-ing drone from DC blew the store (and in having Spider-Man: Homecoming flashbacks here with Delmar's).
And let me point out that Kamran save their lives. He, somehow with those powers, redirected the missile (?) so it wouldn't kill them.
I've got some questions that I home will be answered in the next episode. But until then…
