my first name, not that i know. however, my middle name is kind of a mixture of both having the feminine name as my dad’s middle name and in honor of my deceased aunt

2. when was the last time you cried?

last night actually 💀💀 i was listening to gilded lily by cults to get into the mood to write a particularly sad chapter and i just broke down as i tried to like embrace the grief my character felt. it was interesting ngl

3. do you have kids?

no but maybe someday. i’ve had enough scares to keep me off for a few years

4. do you use sarcasm a lot?

who would i be if i didn’t?

5. what’s the first thing you notice about people?

probably their eyes, their name, or their shoes. i tend to look at the ground a lot (idk i always have) and like i just match people by shoes sometimes like oh that’s the knockoff dunks guy *points at miles teller*

shit brown. brown. any shade of brown that’s under the rainbow tbh. i didn’t luck out at all

i want to say both but probably happy endings bc i’m a romantic at heart

i mean i can kind of make the rollercoaster sound in the back of my throat, and i can make all of my finger joints like lock up?? not really. i can memorize songs really quickly though, so i was the person who knew a song before people knew songs

writing, reading, or just being. i have been shopping a lot lately with my leftover christmas/birthday money too. and i’ve been baking too!

yes!! collectively, my family has five pets, but i have one of them right now. we have three dogs: shelby (13), belle (12), and chuy (we’re thinking around 5) and two cats: willow (5) and tessa (2). and then my stepmom has a dog, ryder (2). just lots of animals

12. what sports do you/have you played?

soccer, basketball, gymnastics, cheer, softball. i was not a sports girlie but i tried

5’1 and a half. proudly.

14. favorite subject in school?

probably english or ap psychology sophomore year. i loved that class so so so much

probably a neonatal or labor and delivery nurse. but if that doesn’t work out, probably an athletic trainer for a sports team. i just really like helping heal people

When did you create this blog? I made this sideblog, innnnn November-ish of 2019, but wasn’t active til about January of 2020, a whole year guys :D, (I have had a Tumblr for many years at this point tho, I’m not quite sure when I first joined though)

What do i post? Art, mostly fanart for TWC, or choices, very rarely my own OC’s, and then I also RB art, writing, and just, fandom memes loll

Last thing i googled: Industrial piercing after care, I am highly considering one

Do i get asks? Yes sometimes, and I cherish each and every one and I am sorry I am so bad at responding sometimes

Why i chose my url: Originally I just made this so I could find posts abt choices that I liked easier, cuzzzz I don’t have a tagging system, so it was choicesstuff, but then I decided I wanted to post art so I changed it to Night-Triumphantt bc of one of my favorite quotes from the ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ series

Average hours of sleep: Ugh, that depends, I always stay up far too late but I also sleep in hella late if I am able, I’m gonna say a solid 6 average (its that delayed circadian rhythm babeyyyyy)

Instruments: I can play piano, and viola, (Tho its been a while) and I am currently trying to learn guitar as I have ALWAYS wanted to learn it. I just wanna be able to play some sweet sweet riffs man! (I also reaaaaallly want to learn how to play the bass guitar but I told myself I wont drop the money on it unless I learn to actually play guitar this year XDD)

What i’m wearing: A very comfy sweater from an Ariana Grande Concert, and black work pants cuz I am at work loll.

Dream job: If I could do anything w/o care I would love to be an animator, but like, I know the actual job isn’t really for me, so I’m goin into medicine, very different I know but I do really love the medical field.

Dream trip: I wanna go to New Zealand someday, its so beautiful!!

Sunday flew by in a flash, the day being your busiest for people to come in and talk. As people entered and left your room, your heart felt full at the chance that you were helping.

When Monday reared it’s ugly head by the sound of your alarm clock, you groaned as you threw on your uniform and fixed your appearance. Brushing your hair out and smoothing down your skirt, you went to head to school.

Just when you opened your door, you found Shoto about to knock on it. Surprise was on both your faces as you locked eyes. He quickly changed from surprised to default polite when he realized he needed to speak.

“Good morning (y/n), do you want to walk to school together?” He asked cooly, as if you didn’t catch him mid knock.

“Oh sure Todo, I would love to!” You smiled at him, reality hitting you like a train when you realized how handsome he really was.

A soft blush scratched at your cheeks, the idea of Shoto wanting you to be around him besides therapy made your heart flutter. It bewildered you. ‘Am I just that attention starved?’ You wondered.

Pleasant conversation was made as you walked the short distance to school. Your sweet voice carved itself into his heart, making it stutter with each giggle you let out. He found himself wanting to be around you more and more now, asking you to hang out after school or take you to a trendy new tea place that opened up.

The two of you rapidly deepened your relationship. Just as friends, much to his disappointment. You also found yourself asking him to do things as well. Spending time reading various books over cups of tea and showing him your hobbies.

When you said “don’t be a stranger” to him, he took it to his full advantage. Sitting with you at lunch and becoming closer with Izuku and Tenya made the friendship hole in your heart swell with love.

Walking together to school became a daily thing, playfully teasing him about how much cats love his left side during the winter. Even training with him in class when parterns could be chosen. You worked well with him, sending flaming needles and ice spikes at bullet speed to your opponents. You finally felt whole again.

Soon enough you guys became attached at the hip, one never seen without the other. Months passed by as you guys spent many late nights in each other’s room, studying or showing each other movies you both loved.

You even had the special privilege of showing him old school Disney movies! The sparkle in his grey and blue eyes as every problem was resolved by love and friendship was something you took particular notice of.

Frozen was his favorite by far, (this is just personal headcannon) as he made little icicles and hummed the tune of “let it go” during training. It was a whole new side to him, like he was a kid again and enjoying all things he should have.

You found your friendship with him wonderful no doubt, but you couldn’t help but wonder ‘What if we were more?’. He plagued your thoughts almost every moment of the day. Some not so clean when his shirts would burn off and during weightlifting.

Doubt filled your body at your relationship with him. ‘Just friends right?’ You chanted as he gave you the softest of smiles, the ones he only showed you. The blush on your face betraying your thoughts when he would touch you in any sort of way. Overthinking every action he made.

All the signs were pointing to it, the universe screaming in your face that HE LIKES YOU. But you were still doubtful, terrified that if you said something you would lose him forever. The pros and cons weighed in your head constantly.

So you said fuck it and rolled the dice. Your plan was to tell him how you felt after school, underneath the trees in the courtyard. It was cheesy no doubt but it was a plan that could work.

A baby blue envelope sat on his desk at his last class, heart pounding as you stared from the corner of your eye at your own seat. Watching like a hawk as his slender fingers picked it up carefully.

He looked at the handwriting on the front carefully, trying to figure out who it was as he inspected the the whole letter. Carefully flipping over the envelope, he opened it and pulled out the matching colored paper inside. It read:

Dear Todoroki,

Meet me in the courtyard under the tress after school. I need to tell you something important.

Signed,

Your mystery girl

He quirked a brow at the piece of paper, trying tentatively to figure out who did this. It was common knowledge he had admirers but none of them were bold enough to leave a letter on his desk.

He decided to face this mystery girl and set up a plan to gently let her down, while preparing himself receive any reaction from her. A promise he kept to himself that his heart belonged to only you. His heart ached at the thought of being just friends but he really just wanted to see you happy, no matter who you ended up with.

His last class couldn’t move any slower, time seeming to crawl as the creeping feeling of guilt settled in him. He felt bad of course but he had to do what needed to be done. He needed to follow his heart, as you told him many times.

When the bell rang, he saw you throw your stuff in your bag and rush out the door. This wasn’t a new occurrence for you, sometimes having an emergency session when a girl found herself cheated on by her s/o.

He packed is bag like he normally would and made his way to the courtyard under the trees. Blue and grey eyes searched the area, looking for a girl anxiously standing and ready to spill her heart out.

The courtyard was empty, thankfully. He didn’t want to hurt this girl in front of a crowd. When a gentle breeze came by, it slightly ruffled his two toned hair as he locked eyes with you. His heart rate picked up, eagerly thumping at slight chance that this mystery girl could be you.

He strolled his way to you, the ever so soft smile on appeared on his face as he gazed at your nervous form.

“Are you by any chance, my mystery girl?” He asked smoothly.

Panic overloaded your body as you looked up at him. Your heart kickboxing against your rib cage anxiously as you clenched your fists, desperately trying to say something, anything to him.

A shaky smile came out of you, the only option left was to be truthful. So throwing caution to the wind, you rolled the dice once again and prayed you got lucky.

“I am.” You shyly said as you looked to the side in embarrassment. His beautiful face not helping you in your struggle to speak.

“What did you need to tell me that’s got you so nervous, (y/n)?” He asked, carefully looking at your trembling body.

You planted you feet firmly on the ground and looked at him dead in the eyes, a newfound determination filling your body as you steadied and faced what you feared.

“Shoto Todoroki, I like you. A lot. I know this may seem sudden and too much but I need to follow my heart.” You took a deep breath.

“When you found me outside, I was hurting. The pain in my chest threatening to consume me whole as I cried into the darkness. But right when I thought I’d disappear, you saw me. You were the first man to have the strength to mend my broken heart and you made me feel loved.” You took shaky breath.

“The softest of smiles you give me when we’re alone, the sparkle in your eyes at Disney movies, and the laughs we shared are just a few of the many things I adore about you. I couldn’t help but fall for you.” you continued, tears pricking your eyes as you bravely pushed on.

“Im in love with you and I understand if you don’t- .” You started again only to be interrupted by him.

Shoto was elated. Happy tears pricking his own eyes at your words. He wanted the chance to be you so badly and now he finally got the girl he wanted. Pure delight overloading his brain and making it so he couldn’t help but hold your face in his hands and gently kiss you.

You immediately kissed back, eyes fluttering closed and soft lips moulding with each other perfectly as your hands slid up and gently grabbed his wrists. The taste of sweet mint ghosted your lips as he pulled away from you.

A sweet smile adorned your face as you looked at him once again, your heart bursting out of your chest in pure joy. His smile matched yours, sweeter then the purest of sugar and softer then the most expensive blankets.

“I love you too, (y/n)” he whispered against your lips.

As you shared another sweet kiss, you realized that you left out the only question that mattered, ‘what if he loved you back?’

random facts: i used to watch a lot of audrey hepburn movies when i was a preteen and early teen and still have a poster of her hanging in my room as well as a decal on my laptop. i like and collect crystals tho i don’t have that many yet. one of the most formative series of my youth was pjo and i wrote a letter to rick riordan for an english assignment, AND that year they held some sort of fair thing at school where there were a bunch of activities based on the books. i think that teacher had smth against me tho bc she didn’t seem to like any of the stuff i wrote for the class And i got picked almost last for choosing activities and nothing good was left. YES i am still bitter as fuck even if that was like seven years ago

aesthetic: my vibes are far too chaotic to ever have a cohesive aesthetic. ig it’s sort of.....bloody knuckled, leather jacket wearing punk meets fashion designer with a love for extravagant gowns and fur coats meets cottagecore with a sprinkling of catholic imagery but make it gay and hellenic and witchy shit for good measure
