Has anyone noticed that many heroes have weird or toxic girlfriends?
Tumblr media
. I used to be a fan of this couple, but then I noticed that sometimes Annabeth can be a little bully to Percy....making fun of his intelligence....like she is superior and he would totally be lost without her. I just wanted to see how she would manage without him in Tartarus. She can be arrogant and bossy. In my opinion, I think she got really interested in Percy because of his powers....you know being the big hero stuff and....she was lonely after losing Luke, Thalia...and many other things that happened to her. Her fatal flaw is pride, so I guess she rarely apologizes for her mistakes and learn from them. I don't blame Percy for having insecurities to express himself because he gets afraid of Annabeth's reaction...and the jealous thing with Rachel....everyone already felt jealous...but treat someone bad just because of it and not even apologize to the person? This is totally creepy....If I had a friend like Annabeth, totally obsessive and possessive of me...I would keep my distance from her. If I'm not mistaken, Annabeth even made Percy ask her to dance...is this serious? Because I don't remember from the book....grateful for that...but still...If a guy doesn't ask you out, don't make him do it. Dance alone...love yourself first... it's better than humilate yourself for a man...and he can do whatever he wants to do...he doesn't have to dance with a girl only because she ordered him to do it...
Tumblr media
Marinette is a sweet person, but sometimes she can be a creppy stalker. She even planned her future with Adrien who didn't even know her that well at the time. She even stole his phone. I see her character a little boring and forced sometimes. I never liked her as Ladybug because she was always bossy and boring...and sometimes even cold to Chat Noir. I don't like how they put the two together...her as someone smart and powerful and him just Chat Noir, the sidekick...the friend...the most important second hero. I think the best episode was Chat Blanc, when he used his power and she was gone. But her other version appeared to save the day...as usual....and I think she can be selfish too, especially to Adrien. Both remind me of Percy and Annabeth...I even stopped watching the series because of Ladybug.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
I'm a big fan of this couple, but still....in all universes, Lois keeps something from her personality...that she is always bossy and arrogant...and sometimes a little boring. But I guess it may be Clark's style because there is another man with the same personality....
Sometimes, Lois Lane can be a little annoying; obsessive and possessive of Superman. I know that she fell for Superman because of his values, but I think deep down she fell for his powers and beauty too...and she treated Clark like she was superior to him....
She looks like the only nice version of Annabeth. Well..depends on the universe too...because she was a villain in one reality...and at least in the new superman and lois series, she fell for Clark first 😊
Tumblr media
I love her so much, but she is a stalker or used to be..I don't know. She always followed Naruto and it was kinda creppy. He didn't like her or notice her existence....and even Naruto called her weird. Well, at least she was the only girl who never liked Sasuke!
In another version or dream (whatever that was)...Hinata even threatens Sakura for going out with Naruto, who wasn't even her boyfriend....
Tumblr media
For me, Iris is a bad version of Lois Lane. She can be annoying, bossy and boring. I don't think that Barry and her have a lot of chemistry. She bothered more the team than helped. Sometimes, she can have her great moments. She even jumped from a building to try to save Barry. She could have died. So, yeah....she can be good. But, still..."Savitar only had one job...only one job" 😅🤣

Re: Gonta getting picked up. Here's some Kaede Defense Squad for you all Some of the v3 cast are having a picnic together. I think when she gets to know you better, Tenko is a pretty physically affectionate person. So she runs up behind Gonta (THEY'RE FRIENDS OK) and goes to flip him, but because he wasn't already moving she can't use his weight against him and just. fails to get him to even move all that much. Tenko exclaims in her frustration and Gonta's like "Oh sorry!! No one's been able to pick up Gonta since he was very little kid, don't feel bad" and Himiko's like "Nyeh… that sounds kinda sad" and Gonta just smiles sheepishly and brushes it off because "at least Gonta can pick up his friends!" Kaito's hanging out with say, Rantaro or someone else nearby, and sees this interaction happen and feels the fire of inspiration light within him. He can't let that stand!! If anyone's going to lift Gonta, it'll be the luminary of the stars!! But, well, Gonta weighs more than 200 pounds. That's as heavy as a fucking fridge. Not to mention he's tall as all hell. I don't think one person could do that solo, so he goes up to Tenko at the end of the day and tells her his idea. Tenko agrees because she likes Gonta but also because getting stronger is always good for her neo-aikido. (privately she also thinks being able to lift her future girlfriend no matter how heavy they might be would fucking rule) Next time Kaito goes to train with his sidekicks, he announces that they're all doing weights that day (and Kaito randomly switching up the exercises they do probably isn't all that uncommon) but what really sticks out to Shuichi and Maki is that he's like. Actually trying? and putting his all into training? When they point this out to him Kaito's like "hey what do you mean?? I'm always giving it my all!" Tenko also adds weight training to her normal exercise routine. Maybe she also goes to the gym (outside of typical sparring/aikido practice she does in her lab) with Akane/Sakura/Aoi more often. After some time and coordinated practice together, at the next get together they announce that they've got a surprise for the whole class, but mostly for Gonta and that he should close his eyes and stand still. They come up from behind him, Tenko kicks out his legs, and both of them manage to catch and hold onto him in a two person bridal carry. It's taking all their strength, but through gritted teeth they both manage to say "surprise!!" Gonta was shocked and confused at first but is very quickly absolutely delighted. Everyone else is also probably extremely fucking impressed they they were able to do this at all. They only manage to hold him for a short time before they have to set him down, but immediately after Gonta wraps them both in a big hug.

As soon as I read the ‘not even trying’ bit I imagined this:
Naruto gets invited and goes to the awards ceremony thing. He’s actually completely unaware of his future ranking since he told his PR (this world’s version of Hinata who became a terrifyingly competent one) he didn’t care about the rankings stop telling him then. Hinata is at home watching with popcorn when the rankings are announced and the most DUMBFOUNDED look appears on his face.
“Wait I… I’m the number one? Right?”
“You didn’t know?”
“No?!? I’m helping people that’s what matters not this weird popularity contest.”
Pan to the other heroes. All Might is amused. Hawks is giggling. Endeavour looks absolutely FURIOUS.
Naruto realized he can now never be Hokage and decided that being a hero was good enough and doesn’t really care about what other people think about him. Like it’s nice to have Hinata close by and Choji is doing great as one of Fatgum’s sidekicks and he’s pretty sure he saw Iruka teaching at a middle school not far from UA, and to him that’s enough. Knowing his friends are there too, knowing people see him now as something more than a demon child, knowing that he’s doing good. It’s all enough for him. He doesn’t need the weird politics and social medias and whatever else people are doing to inflate their numbers (he does however have a pretty active instagram account that’s mostly pictures of ramen and frogs with the odd mid fight selfie).
But the think about Naruto in whatever universe he’s in is that he’s magnetic.
People flock to him. Drawn by his smiles, his light, his understanding. He can talk almost any villain down without a fight and those he can’t talk down are taken care of quickly and with little to no casualties or property damage. He’s efficient. He’s skilled. He doesn’t hesitate to talk to kids or help people with groceries or do a million other things to make the lives of everyone around him better.
So the only people that are surprised that he gets number one are himself and Enji. Naruto is simply just Too Good not to have it.
(He’s pretty sure this worlds version of Sakura might have given herself a slight concussion when she slapped her forehead after he asked three times if he was really the number one hero. He’s also pretty sure that there’s some sort of AC failure on stage because it’s really fucking hot up there.)

💥 ROUND 1 .... FIGHT!!!
Trucy Wright (Ace Attorney) vs Futaba Sakura (Persona 5)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Undecided? Click 'read more' to hear why fans believe their favorite deserves the win! (excerpts were written by the folks who submitted the characters! thank you all!)
In Defense of Trucy:
She's so silly and she's a magician! She is Apollo Justice's sidekick, and even though she met him as just her father's defense attorney, that didn't stop her from pulling him into her crazy magic tricks! She also has a wooden doll as her assistant named Mr. Hat!!! How can you be weirder than that?
In Defense of Futaba:
She’s a genius hacker with a very gremlin-y disposition. She has issues with agoraphobia and social anxiety that she works through over the course of the game. When she first starts going outside, she wears ridiculous masks to make it easier for herself. She also likes thinking of life as a video game and will refer to chores as quests or other people as NPCs.

“Galactic Melancholy”-esque talentswap KG fic?? PLEASE tell us more, pretty please!
Alright!
So, like Galactic Melancholy, “Danganronpa: Atlantic Sorrow” is a talentswap fic with a mix of characters from the game! It takes place in a mysterious underwater facility, and is headed by a mysterious mermaid known as Monohina, heading by her crab and fish sidekicks.
The primary twist is that these talents are taken from Danganronpa Another and Danganronpa Another 2!
Our protagonist is Komaru Naegi, the Ultimate Pilot! Thanks to her having an Ultimate talent, I’d believe that she would be a far more confident person, without her losing that good ol’ Komaru charm. In spite of her hermbo energy, Komaru’s shocking moments of intelligence and craftiness could help her survive in the diametric opposite of the sky!
But she is not alone in her endeavors, for she also has the help of:
Toko Fukawa, the cowardly and distrusting Ultimate Police Officer as well as Komaru’s support, with a hidden free-spirited side!
Sayaka Maizono, the charismatic and cheery Ultimate Merchant/famous advertising personality with a million-dollar smile!
Leon Kuwata, the burnt-out prodigy Ultimate Actor who wants nothing more than to step out of the limelight and follow a different dream!
Chihiro Fujisaki, the timid yet superbly-kind-hearted Ultimate Cheerleader who wants nothing more than to assert himself as a real man!
Sakura Oogami, the wise and contemplative Ultimate Psychologist, who’s a firm believer in a healthy body equalling a healthy mind!
Kazuichi Souda, the Ultimate Billiards Player who wishes to reinvent himself as a tough assertive person, but can’t shake his natural cowardice!
Hiyoko Saionji, the cute-looking yet mean-spirited and competitive Ultimate Painter, who is the latest scion of an influential family of traditional artists!
Peko Pekoyama, the stoic Ultimate Journalist with an analytical mind and a pair of sharp eyes that no piece of information is able to evade!
Nagito Komaeda, the gentle yet self-deprecating Ultimate Professor whose soft baggy eyes and dorky demeanor belies a hidden “zealous” side.
Gundham Tanaka, the Ultimate Lawyer who is the definition of a “bunny-ears lawyer” and has mysterious delusions of being the “fangs of justice”.
Shuichi Saihara, a guilt-stricken young boy who refuses to share his Ultimate talent, claiming that he doesn’t deserve it and “failed” at it.
Kaede Akamatsu, the optimistic yet hard-headed Ultimate Boxer, whose muscular body belies a dorky love for shonen manga and cake!
Angie Yonaga, the class’s foreign exchange student and the Ultimate Soccer Player who has weird and forceful methods for promoting “teamwork”!
Gonta Gokuhara, the nature-loving Ultimate Guitarist who is big in both body and heart and wishes to share his “songs from forest family”.
Ryoma Hoshi, a former ex-convict who is currently the Ultimate Priest and wishes to find solace and atonement for his past deeds in the form of “God”.
Can this cast of characters successfully evade the grasping hands of death, or will despair force them down into even deeper depths?
If you wish to learn more about this AU, please don’t hesitate to ask!

also also as much as people claim kishimotos women writing isnt rooted in misogyny. i think. well. im just sorting my thoughts here honestly i havent reread enough to make a proper post for this yet. but like lets just look at what we got:
sakura - written as annoying girl on purpose. not allowed to grow ever. no backstory, no red thread besides 'fangirl loves sasuke'
tsunade - well written but also despite being middle aged she has to be youthful and hot. arguably the only plot relevant woman and its the one with big bazongas
anko - pushed aside even though she couldve been relevant for sasuke. do we even see her after part1?
konan - somewhere at the bottom of the ocean. or lake i dont remember. yes the akatsuki are all killed but her death feels particularly undignified
kurenai - supposedly incredible at genjutsu yet its only used to belittle her next to itachi. pregnant and never seen again after.. sorry girl youre a mom now no more personality for you. not that there was much to begin with
shizune - tsunades faithful sidekick. nothing bad i can think of rn. has a pig very epic.
hinata - written as annoying girl on purpose 2! has very intriguing backstory that is shoved aside
tenten - who?
tayuya - dies as a one dimensional villain (as do her comrades)
miss orochimaru - pedocoded
karin - written as annoying girl on purpose 3! and like sakura has moments that imply change is possible only to fullstop. though at least karin has a supporting backstory that explains why shes Like That
shiho (thats the one that looks like ino with glasses) - instant crush on shikamaru for no reason
fuu - dead
ayame - ultra side character. she serves ramen. thats it
that sound girl in the forest of death - only serves to humiliate sakura for having long hair. while she has long hair
mito - only known as a jinchuu and hashiramas wife
mikoto - housewife even though she was a skilled ninja. one could argue she choose that out of love but objectively its still sorry girl youre a mom now thats it for you. but she had personality
chiyo - flawed character with story. allowed to be old even! dies
temari - written like a regular character. thumbs up
mei terumi - OHHH IM A GIRL WITH BIG HONKERS AND NOT MARRIED BOOHOO. cheap writing
yugito - dead
ino - her writing is okay..i guess... but often shown as shallow even though it makes no sense because her father is T&A
kushina - id say her writing is mostly on par with tsunade? from memory only though so what do i know. was clearly being setup for the housewife sentence if she didnt die though
rin - only existed for the plot
hanabi - shes. fine? idr
in conclusion: no kishimoto doesnt outright go and say EW ALL GIRLS HAVE COOTIES AND ARE INHERENTLY BENEATH THE MEN but like cmon. almost always sidelining female characters certainly isnt a good look. out of all of these the only ones i would title as 'well written' aka written like actual people would be tsunade, konan, chiyo, temari, kushina. big tits, dead, dead, married into housewife (though i dont really count boruto), dead
👍

8th chapter of "The power in me"
False sense of security
Worried, Orochimaru and his sidekicks Karin and Suigetsu search the corridors for Sarada. The echoes of the three's hasty footsteps are clearly audible, echoing off the desolate walls.
" Karin, why didn't you pay more attention to Sarada? Do I have to do everything here myself? I think I've been too careless with you and given you too many liberties," says the old Sannin, both shocked and angry. "Have you any idea how important she is as a test subject?" Orochimaru's concern for Sasuke's daughter is reflected in his very peculiar ways.
"Sensei! Please, I take all the blame. I'm worried about Sarada too. I was too careless when I just had to go outside to do something important…” Karin appeases.
Orochimaru can't really ask Karin to wet her pants all that seriously, and that she's been with Sarada most of the time, which the surveillance documents are showing it.
"Well, let's forget that for now and continue our search. Sasuke mustn't find out anything about this incident and should he enter here now, I don't want to be near him”, the odd scientist shows indulgence for Karin.
"Besides, it was my fault to distract Karin from her work," Suigetsu explains the situation, "she was too exhausted and needed a break..."
"It seems you found each other as a team after all. Inappropriately at the worst possible moment. I hope Log has more success with Mitsuki and he doesn't make a similar mistake," Orochimaru comments.
The three split up to look for the young girl. The hidden laboratory built into a mountain is widely spread and Sasuke's daughter can be anywhere.
Karin holds Sarada's old bandage in her hand and there are fine chakra residues from Sarada on it. Normally, with that as a clue, she would find someone within minutes.
This fact means Sarada can't be in close proximity, giving Karin chills. Her concern for the girl sits like a lump in her stomach and she feels nauseous.
But where should she be? Sarada can never have her chakra reserves replenished, this morning's findings show, and even if she did, Sarada cannot perform a jutsu in which she could travel from place to place without an existing Mangekyō Sharingan.
“We slowly searched every area. It's as if she has vanished into thin air," Suigetsu sighs annoyed, "that's not possible..."
Orochimaru ponders Suigetsu's comment, "Maybe you're right about that..."
Surprised and shocked, Suigetsu and Karin look at their master.
Karin raises her objection “Wait! You don't believe..."
Just as she's about to finish her sentence, the alarm sounds on small surveillance units on Orochimaru and Suigetsu's wrists.
Karin adjusts her glasses and a clear change in her facial expressions that radiates relief is noticeable.
"I can track her down again," and all three run back towards the starting point and arrive at the makeshift sickbay or more surveillance room.
Only the fluorescent light of the monitoring devices such as EEG, EKG, respiration illuminates the room, which, however, indicate inactivity. The only sound in this room is the frightening error message of no heart activity on the EKG.
"Where is she?" Suigetsu asks, walking into the room. He looks around questioningly, followed by the other two.
He only notices how Karin pushes him aside, "go aside, Sui...." , she can't finish her sentence. Karin is thrown to the ground with a rattling noise that sounds like shattering glasses and clanging trays.
The sight of two women lounging on the floor is a strange sight, Suigetsu thinks. The little Uchiha girl climbs Karin's chest like a snake. Supple and deadly at the same time. A dangerous combination for the attacker trying to knock her down.
Sakura and Sasuke effectively trained their daughter in taijutsu.
Breathing hastily, the young brat sits on Karin and threatens her with a scalpel. Her 3rd Tomoe is clearly visible in her left eye, her right eye is covered with part of her shaggy hair. Since when does she activated her 3rd Tomoe of her Sharingan? Mitsuki snakes would bring this important information a time ago. A spooky sight that Suigetsu and Karin have seen before if the hair were longer...
A disturbing goosebumps is noticeable on Suigetsu.
The sharp tool touches Karin's throat menacingly close. Although the touch only has to be millimeters, a red trickle is visible on Karin's throat.
" KARIN !!!", says Suigetsu, shocked and worried at the same time.
"Hush, Suigetsu!", Orochimaru admonishes his former prisoner calmly, "Karin's life is in danger. Sarada experiences a mental breakdown at that moment. She is apparently in shock.” Karin looks calmly at Suigetsu and tells him not to intervene now.
"Sarada...little one...it's all right...you're safe here..." Karin says to her soothingly.
Seemingly Karin's words reach Sarada and the girl looks around searchingly and part of her hurt face is now clearly visible...
The three of them knew this sight from her father until some time ago.
Panicked, the violet eye of the Six Paths scans the room and Sarada recognizes the three people around her. A Rinnegan is clearly visible in her eye socket.
Startled, she drops the scalpel on the floor next to Karin's head, cutting a strand of Karin's red hair.
Sarada gets off Karin's chest, horrified at what she was about to commit, roughly tearing her hair.
Crouching, the little girl sits pitifully and her tears flow. It can't all be real! Booming at a high frequency, she still hears that terrifying scream of that frightening giant beast. In her memory, Sarada thinks she can still feel the huge jaws of the 10th grinding and tearing at her body at the same time.
That must be a really bad dream. Right?! , she thinks.
Terrible chills make herself felt before panic. Bad, like the last time when she was so little and her mother watched over her day and night by her bed.
To calm herself, Sarada crosses her arms as if trying to calm herself.
"Where are Mom and Dad???", the desperate sight of little Uchiha tears Karin's heart apart and she carefully takes her in her arms.
"Where are mama and papa ???" She asks again crying, "please. Where are they???"
Sarada looks at Karin with tears. Karin carefully presses her against her shoulder and lets herself cry.
"Great! A second Madara Uchiha with a mental breakdown…” Suigetsu comments dryly to ease the situation.
Three pairs of eyes stare at Suigetsu:
Sarada startled and surprised that a fourth person bears her last name.
Orochimaru and Karin enraged that Suigetsu mentioned the most powerful and most feared Uchiha before Sarada.
" What? How?” asks Sarada, confused.
"Ssshhh… Sarada dear. That's not important now. You have to calm down first and recharge your chakra reserves…” Karin tries to distract her.
"But!... Please Aunt Karin..." Sarada begs her so heartbreakingly for answers to her many questions: The whereabouts of her beloved parents, this horrible meeting with Boruto? ….. Momoshiki? To this disturbing place and this monstrous beast staring at her like an alien from some science fiction stories. And who the hell is Madara Uchiha?
Sarada's inquisitive curiosity is aroused and she has to find a logical answer to everything.
"You will get answers to your questions, Sarada," Orochimaru says calmly, "but first Karin will take care of you. I have to work. We will see us again ..." , and then he disappears.
Sarada sees Mitsuki's mother? Father? Or better guardian? creator?
Whatever, asking afterwards.
"Where is he going?" Sarada asks Karin. Sarada wipes her tears from her face.
"He's certainly busy," Karin replies thoughtfully and assumes that her master is going to Mitsuki.
" Come with me ! It's time for you to take a bath", her foster aunt puts her arm around Sarada's shoulder and Karin takes her to her and more recently Suigetsu's bath, which they both secretly use for a short time together from time to time...
Well Karin and Suigetsu's improvement in their relationship started with that. When, after a heated argument, both used one of Orochimaru's many labs to blow off some steam. A change that appealed to both of them and they both decided to repeat it, several times. At first only in a professional sense to satisfy the physical desire, but at some point Karin developed feelings that she once only knew from Sasuke. Karin considers that things have been going so seriously between the two of them for three or a quarter of a year.
Lost in thought, the fiery red-haired woman fills hot water for Sarada. Karin is the same age as her mother. While her mother looks elegant and beautiful, Karin comes across as freaky, sexy and nerdy. But both are lovely women in their own way.
Comparable to her and Sumire...
Sumire, the elegant, tall, and Sarada, the fearsome and smaller of the two.
"Which bath additive do you prefer? Something sweet like added cherry blossoms or something spicier like orange and cinnamon wood?” Karin tries to lighten the mood and talks to Sarada about something trivial. Girl stuff ...
"I don't care..." Sarada says bored. She had never been interested in such stuff like her friend Chocho was, for example.
Her focus has always been to satisfy and develop her curiosity and her fighting techniques. If only she couldn't impress anyone with her scary looks in some situations. Then with her intelligence and her skills.
She sighs and goes into the warm water. A blessing after the shocking events. Everything that happened a short time before appears to her like a black hole that has sucked in every memory of her.
Dreamy and happy about girl time together, Karin lathers actually Sarada's beautifully shiny hair. It now smells wonderfully of fresh peach.
Sarada's appearance shows the first signs that the girl is developing into a woman. Another feature is recognizable, what she sees new in the girl, Karin notices: A strangulation mark is clearly visible on Sarada's neck. What happened to the poor kid? This observation is new to Sarada's aunt and she would certainly have discovered it at the time of Sarada's care.
Ashamed of this view, Sarada hides her nakedness with her hands. Nobody saw her like that. Well, except mom and dad, but at a very young age. After a certain time only her mom saw her body or was there already someone who got to see this view??? A brief memory flashes in her mind, but then it's gone again. Too short to realize who it could have been.
Red with shame showing on her cheeks, she sinks in the water up to her cheeks. Only her two different pairs of eyes and her black hair come to light.
"And is there someone you like? You must surely have a lot of interested boyfriends, as pretty as you are,” Karin eases the oppressive situation for Sarada.
"I don't know," Sarada gazes impassively into the water, Kawaki's appearance playing in her mind's eye.
Hey Nosie! She hears him say flippantly. Huh? Nosy? You probably mean Bossy!, Boruto joins in this situation with amusement, while Mitsuki just grins at her and thus agrees.
"Where are Kawaki, Boruto and Mitsuki?" Asks Sarada, startled, "shanaroo! I can't leave the three of them alone.” She looks at Karin with concern.
Karin's curiosity is finally satisfied as to what name Sarada tried to say in her delirium.
"Who is Kawaki? ' Karin grins questioningly at Sarada. The young girl looks embarrassed at the water surface, which is full of foam.
"He's Boruto's adoptive brother and a new team member of Team 7," Sarada tries to keep the conversation as inconsequential as possible, "please Karin! Where are they? I'm worried! And I don't have time to sit here quietly. Maybe they're all in danger!" Karin clearly hears Sarada's concern in her voice and stops teasing.
"Mitsuki is here with you . You were both brought here badly injured. I can't tell you where Boruto and Kawaki are," says Karin seriously. Sarada can't hear a lie in Karin’s voice.
" Hurt? Mitsuki and I? But how?” Sarada remembers her memory gap of a few hours. The last thing she remembers is Boruto's huge scar on his chest, which she examined with Mitsuki and a brief conversation with Mitsuki about what happened to Boruto and he was presumed dead for a moment.
"I have to show you something that you're about to find out today at Orochimaru's examination. For that you have to get out of the tub and stand in front of the mirror,” Karin explains calmly.
Sarada looks at Karin worried, but follows Karin's instructions. The red-haired woman helps the girl get out of the tub and wraps a large towel around her shoulders.
Sarada slowly steps in front of Karin's vanity with the bathroom mirror and looks into her reflection. The right side of her face is again covered by her black hair. No change as far as visible. Except that her hair on the right side looks unruly, otherwise it was always the hair on the other side. Nothing alarming so far.
Sarada looks skeptically into Karin's red eyes.
"You have to put your hair aside," says Karin.
Cautiously, Sarada tucks her hair behind her right ear and sees what until recently was a familiar sight to her. Not for herself but for her father.
She stares at the violet Rinnegan and suddenly she realizes that what she thought she was dreaming 2 hours ago, was actually real.
Sarada narrows her eyes and holds the right eye area, just as her father always did when he used a high level of chakra. With her other hand she bangs herself on the sink. Her knuckles turn white from the exertion. Another panic attack runs through her and again she thinks she hears that horrible scream. She will never be able to forget it. Boruto's disturbing visage reappears in front of her. One eye socket bleeding massively, the other eye closed, her best friend tried to squeeze her throat.
Sarada silently thanks Karin for bringing her out of her dark thoughts. "Hey, calm down. It's not that bad,” the adult woman tells her.
Sarada remembers the black hole in her memories.
"How did it happen?" Sarada asks Karin quietly.
"Your father brought you here seriously injured," Karin replies, "and in order to save you, your father had to have you undergo a life-threatening operation. So that you have a chance of survival. Evolving a Rinnegan is just a useful by-product that Orochimaru and I theorized some time ago ."
"So I wasn't dreaming after all... I wish it were like that..." Sasuke's daughter mumbles, lost in thought.
"Come on, let's go to Orochimaru. He'll be waiting for you," says her aunt. Sarada quickly puts on her blue nightgown. She doesn't have anything else here to wear right now. Together they both visit Sasuke's former master.
When they arrive at Orochimaru's laboratory, Sarada recognizes a person she knows very well.
Anywhere she would recognize the boy with pale white skin and white hair tinged with bluish. His golden-yellow eyes stare into space. Is he sad?
She storms towards him and hugs him, reassured to have a friend by her side.
"MITSUKI!", she cries relieved and both just hold themselves for the moment to be able to forget the tragedy around them...

Persephone's Furies
Like most heroes, Persephone (Sakura Ankokugai) has a group of sidekicks that assist her both on and off the battlefield. Much like her own hero name, they are codenamed the Furies after the goddesses of vengeance from Greek myth.
Amane Tenkei | Furiosa
Tumblr media
Amane is the former leader of the Furies until her mysterious disappearance. She was a strong leader and led the Furies with might. But she would never talk about what was going on her with, especially mentally. Which makes it quite an unsettling coincidence that a lawful evil villain has a similar Quirk to their missing leader...
Kurenai Rankiri | Orchid
Tumblr media
(Lets all pretend that her sclera is green) Kurenai's past is similar to that of Juri Meirei's; she is the daughter of a disgraced yakuza boss and his mistress. Pair that with her Mutant abilities and she grew up an ostracized, lonely childhood. However, unlike her sister from another mother, she came out more "adjusted and mature" (in her words).
Quirk: Orchid Mantis's Lull
Kurenai has all the powers of an orchid mantis, including camouflage, multiple arms, enhanced strength & speed, etc. But there's another ability she has: being able to inject a poison that lulls a person's Quirk.
Paired with: Yuka Suiyaku | Elixir
Ryoko Nemurihime | Sleeping Aphrodite

Entry 102: The Silent Support
Revelation Chapter 12: Frozen Sea
While the gang is sailing to Cheve, Sakura recommends Corrin rests. That was a random twenty second scene. Suddenly, the boat crashes into an iceberg. The boat sinks, leaving Corrin and Jakob clutching a door floating in the freezing water. Jakob lets go and dies and yes he had to do that I don’t care that there was enough space on the door the extra weight would have sunk do you understand what buoyancy is?
Camilla shows up, acting on orders from Garon to kill Corrin. Also Flora is there and was the one who froze the sea. Garon said he’d execute the entire Ice Tribe if Flora didn’t kill Corrin, meaning that the ice tribe is all going to die I guess.
This battle has the party start on boats and have to fend off enemies charging the boat for six turns until Dragon Veins appear and allow the party to advance. Camilla, her retainers, and Flora are all fightable. If Corrin fights Camilla, Camilla says she's so glad that Corrin is still alive before saying to leave it to her to kill them. Camilla is the worst. Flora doesn't have any special dialogue with Felicia, Corrin, or Jakob, which sucks.
After the battle, Camilla asks Corrin to kill her, because she and her retainers will be executed if they go home without Corrin’s head, because Garon does not tolerate failure, and she wants to die by Corrin’s hand. Friendly reminder that you fight and defeat Camilla twice in Birthright, yet she’s still alive at the end of the game. Corrin says that, if Camilla’s life is theirs to take, then that means Camilla is now recruited. Takumi objects, but Corrin says they cannot kill their sister. Also, the real enemy is not Hoshido or Nohr, it is the secret enemy that commands the Nohrian army and just sent Nohrian assassins to kill them.
Flora sees Corrin’s sword glowing, which means Corrin is the hero of legend. Flora says that she’s going to go back to the Ice Tribe, who all went into hiding to avoid being killed by Nohr. This means one of two things: the Nohrians will find and kill the entire Ice Tribe, or Flora’s entire character is pointless and dumb. Like, if the Ice Tribe can easily avoid the Nohrian army, then there isn’t any point in them giving Nohr their chief’s daughters or fighting and dying for Nohr. There’s no point in Flora killing herself in Birthright. Then again, that was already pointless and dumb in Birthright.
The chapter ends with Camilla and Azura talking about how Nohrians hated Azura for being the daughter of Garon’s second wife, Arete, instead of his first wife, Katerina. It’s weird that they don’t hate Camilla for being the child of a concubine. Camilla says she always wanted to be friends with young Azura, but her mother forbade it.
So, now that we have Camilla and her sidekicks, I’d like to note another example of this game favoring Hoshido. We received thirteen different Hoshidans, every Hoshidan except for Ryoma, Hinoka, Azama, and Setsuna, before we got our first Nohrian. That’s weird.
Support: Azura/Corrin (Revelation)
C: Corrin finds Azura singing by a lake in the woods, which is her favorite pastime. They discuss how Hoshido and Nohr. Corrin says Hoshido is an amazing, fertile land where no one ever wants anything. Azura says this makes the people amiable and respectful. I get a feeling this game's writers like the Japanese country more, although it's a very subtle thing that's hard to pick up on. Azura says that the constant threat of Nohr hangs over Hoshido, and that Nohr is always an agressor who invades without reason. Corrin says that she should try to see things from the side of Nohr. Azura admits that Hoshidans seem self-centered to Nohrians, for some reason, which is why Nohr hates Hoshido. Which is bullshit. Nohr is invading Hoshido because Garon was turned into an evil slime monster who wants to cause the apocalypse.
B: Corrin explains that Nohr is a cold, gloomy tundra. Azura speculates that makes the people of Nohr mean. Corrin refutes this, pointing out that their army is filled with nice Nohrians. Azura speculates Nohrians feel jealous and that's why they're invading. And again, no, it isn't. And even if it is, how the hell does Azura plan to fix that?
A: Azura and Corrin talk in Valla about Anankos. Azura explains that legends say Anankos was a godlike entity that gave humans power in return for faithfulness. Humans eventually stopped worshipping him, so he went evil. Corrin calls it a sad story, and I disagree. It's a stupid story that makes Anankos look like a petty toddler. Azura says it teaches about the problems with grudges. Corrin says they should try to improve the world, not necessarily through fighting, and make enemies friends.
S: Corrin finds Azura bathing naked. Ah, my favorite Awakening trope returns, just as shitty as I remember. Corrin says that the mysteries of the world don't seem as important compared to Azura. They get together in what I assume is a non-incestuous marriage.
Review: This one is bad, but it's bad because this game is bad. The core conceit of Fire Emblem Fates does not work, as I have explained extensively.
Support: Felicia/Kaze
C: Felicia hangs out laundry to dry. The sheets fly away and Kaze catches them. Felicia says she's a bad maid and Kaze offers to help her get better.
B: Kaze stalks Felicia and keeps her from messing up. Felicia says she's in Kaze's debt, but he says that he's helping because he wants to.
A: Kaze reveals Corrin asked him to look after Felicia. Felicia calls herself a burden, but Kaze insists she's a valuable part of the army.
S: Kaze continues following Felicia, this time because he likes her.
Review: Fine, but not outstanding in any way.
Support: Camilla/Hinoka
C: Hinoka finds Camilla sewing. Camilla explains all young ladies in Nohr are taught to sew. Hinoka says she never learned because she began training at the age of seven. Camilla says that's horrible. Hinoka asks which part, her inability to sew or that she was a child soldier. She actually says child soldier, in what I believe is the only time this game utters those words. Camilla says it's bad for both reasons. Hinoka asks her to teach her to sew so she can make a gift for Corrin.
B: Hinoka sucks at sewing because she goes too fast and keeps stabbing herself. Camilla says that she wanted to become friends with Hinoka, because they're similarly devoted to Corrin.
A: Hinoka gets good at sewing. She says that Camilla is a good friend of hers. Camilla decides to teach her embroidery.
Review: Not awful, but a bit dull. Camilla's negative traits are toned down, but as a result, the conversation comes off as a bit dull.
Support: Beruka/Saizo
C: I rarely talk about translation differences on this blog, because I don't speak Japanese. I only know about translation differences if they're notable enough for me to have heard about them. The most famous bad translation in Fates, of course, is this Support. In the Japanese C-Support, Beruka and Saizo discuss how many people they've killed. Beruka used to count, but stopped after Camilla took her in. Saizo doesn't say a number, but he remembers the face of every person he's ever killed. That's a good conversation. In the English version, they stare at each other silently. I get this is a joke and a callback to Jaffar and Rath's Support in FE7, but the joke isn't very funny and we lose a good bit of character-building in the process. At least the other three conversations are direct translations.
B: Saizo asks if Beruka worked alone as an assassin. Beruka says she worked with people after meeting Camilla. Saizo talks about a mission where he was sent to kill a duke, but the family saw him and chased after him. Beruka knows the duke he's talking about.
B: Saizo explains that the duke hired Beruka to kill the man who sent Saizo, and that afterwards Saizo killed the the duke and his entire family. Beruka and Saizo are both disgusted by this.
A: Saizo says they need to fight to break the chain of vengeance to make a more peaceful world.
S: Saizo says that they will never be able to live normal lives, even if they bring peace. He asks her to settle down with him after the war ends.
Review: I have mixed feelings about this Support. It is, for the most part, excellent. If they hadn't royally botched the C-Rank, this would be within the top five Supports in this entire game. It's excellent. Even after such an abysmal translation, it's still great. But it could have been better.

I have so many fic ideas and nothing to show for it so here's an itemized list of things I want to write where most of them are about Sai because I'm obsessed with my zero vibe blorbo:
Road To Ninja au [probably'll be a series]
Sai - centric, as always, but mostly because I want to explore a world where Sai's father is alive and his mother cares about him. Of course, in a way that hurts his growth as a person and emotionally stunts him because it has to be canon connected in some way of course!
Also seeing a Shin-Sai sibling rivalry is intriging to me.
Blue Period au [either a longfic or a series]
Yes, also Sai - centric. At first this started out as an Art Club au but I think Blue Period au fits better. Just... high school student Sai who doesn't know what he wants to do when he's older and always has trouble properly fitting in stumbles into art club and rediscovers his love for art. This could be a main story to my modern au too, specifically after the horrible accident that fucks up Shin's organs and makes Sai lose his memory.
Just, art teacher Konan and genderqueer Deidara, along with art rival Kankuro and just!!!! read Blue Period rn I'm not asking
T4T Choji / Sai [oneshot]
Someone mentioned Choji being trans in the OC server and I was like oh my god t4t Choji / Sai! So yeah, I think they should date and just be the boyfriends ever <3
Yukimi and Sai Road Trip [regular fic]
After the war, Sai is stressed and Yamato sees this so he calls his little sister and they go on a trip around the world to see new places and such, I just think they'd be a neat pair.
Modern au [series]
Root kid - centric, it was at first made as a fluffy au where Kabuto, Urushi, Sai, and Shin were fostered by Nonou (Kabuto and Urushi came first and then Sai and Shin were adopted when Urushi and Kabuto were in high school so they're close but they're like two pairs of siblings living together), and ROOT is just the super secret treehouse group they made when they were younger or smthing, you know how kids are.
Miraculous au [series]
I like the concepts and the main plot of the show, but I hate the directors, writers, and overall how they carried out the show but I'll scrape it to it's bare bones and make my own Miraculous au
Not Sai - centric this time! Who would've thought? :0
Neji / Sai / Sasuke [oneshot of regular fic]
Neji, Sasuke, and Sai are all ppl who were repressed and then rebelled against a hurtful system that they were born and groomed into in canon, with Neji and his self - finding journey, Sasuke with his villain arc, and Sai actively rebelling against ROOT customs. So, ot3, they should kiss and piss off their parents
Silly Hallmark Christmas Fic [oneshot]
Sasuke, being a drama queen, decides to bring the son of the Uchiha's sworn enemy to Christmas dinner. Sai is in it for the drama because he's also a little shit that hates Danzō for his brother's death, and what better to piss of his foster grandpa than to fake date and go to Christmas dinner with his sworn enemies son?
They're both bastards and they should kiss kiss fall in love your honour
Deidara / Sai Fic [oneshot]
Just the adventures of Deidara and Sai [probably a modern au] working together on a big art final and such. There's probably going to be some slam poetry and dark academia and Rio Romeo themed playlists and such because I love those.
TMNT au but it's more of the Nick version because it's more messy au [probably a series]
Team Seven - centric but like. they're turtles :)
Raph - Sasuke Leo - Sakura Donnie - Sai Mikey - Naruto Splinter - Hiruzen
Cardcaptor Sakura au [series or just a fic]
Sakusai - centric and they're also in like high school when this happens, but yeah Sakura is the Cardcaptor and Sai is her rich best friend that loves her a lot and helps her Cardcapture to the best of his ability, like a fun sidekick. It's Sakura - centric though!
One of Those Twitter Template aus but With My Modern au [probably just a bunch of Tumblr posts in a series]
Nonou would post about her kiddos on facebook to share because she loves them
Kabuto would have social media only to keep a portfolio / resume but also to be annoying sometimes and also to have public beef with Anko because she couldn't have his sensei so apparently she's going for his mom
Urushi would be in it to post encouraging messages for his siblings and his blog is full of just him doing fun things with friends
Shin would enjoy just being there to post things he can't say in the moment but people find his weird life funny
Sai runs an entire art student portfolio / blog aesthetic because he enjoys having the coolest twitter [this is modern au Sai, canon Sai wouldn't even change his header]
Fuu also likes just regular posting but most of his blog is dedicated to family gossip / beef so he's got the highest following
Torune has a bug blog to interact with his family who also have bug blogs in which they make a small bug fandom
So yeah, many thoughts head full of niche aus that I enjoy! I have a few more so there might be a part two but feel free to chat to me abt them!

with all due respect to naruto, does anyone really care that he died? did it affect the shinobi world? because yeah konoha is after naruto's killer because he killed their hokage but does it truly affect anything outside some "higherups" in a scene no one really cared about?
not his teammates, not the guy that became kazekage bc of him, not the entire world that cease conflicts and united bc of him, no one outside the same 2 people?
I might need to have a word with this writer bc the lack of development is offputting I think broly's sidekicks from dragon ball super get more development than boruto characters. I think I know more things about keith shadis from aot than I know about anyone from the new team 10.
not one panel or mention? eight months reading and no crumbs? I'm incredibly interested in gaara's thoughts and moreso about sakura's disposition about her besfriend dying and her husband held accountable than anything going on, hopefully april is the month or else I'm dropping this shit.
it feels like any naruto mention is a plot device but it doesn't really move the story forward they've been repeating the same thing of the shinju clones in different pov.
new generation? my ass they don't care about them I don't know anything about team 10 they show up flex their new designs and dip, can't recall anything the least memorable, not from shikadai who has a role model such as shikamaru to surpass, he was valuable but his son. metal lee exists in the story? anyone remember him? this is about the next gen they want not in general. who tf writes this can't play with more than 5 character per chapter.
If you want to drop it, then just drop it. You're clearly not enjoying it so there's no point in continuing with it.

If the v3 cast were Masters, which Servants would they summon who has the highest compatibility with them ?
Akamatsu and Amakusa
Amami and Nursery Rhyme
Iruma and Caligula
Ouma and Nightingale
Ki-bo and Kotarou
Gonta and Bedivere
Saihara and Arjuna
Shirogane and Gilgamesh (Caster)
Shinguuji and Medusa
Chabashira and Xuanzang
Toujou and Queen of Sheba
Harukawa and Jason
Hoshi and Dantes
Momota and Mandricardo
Yumeno and Nagiko
Angie and Douman
Explanations under the cut in case you're confused, because you probably are.
First off, Twitter people might be wondering why so many choices are different from what I chose for this thread. Obvious consideration for who is normally summonable aside, the main thing I kept in mind here is that compatibility summon comes in two flavors. Pattern A is a hero similar in nature to Master (Sakura and Medusa, Ryuunosuke and Gilles, etc), and Pattern B is the hero the Master needs for the personal struggles of their character arc (Pepe and Ash, Erice and Voyager, Elsa and Arash, Jinako and Karna, etc). Pattern B is always more interesting than Pattern A, so that's what I'm using for all my choices. Now let me go over them one by one.
1. I say things will be different from the thread and immediately break the promise with Akamatsu. Akamatsu relied a lot on Saihara's brain to build her plan, but their relationship was never one of mutual trust because she knew Saihara would agree to her harsher and more definitive methods. The hero Akamatsu needs is someone both competent and like-minded. Someone who shares her earnest will to save everyone and willingness to use more extreme methods for it. Amakusa is the Servant for her.
2. For Amami, I'll go with Nursery Rhyme. Much like Raikou got Nursery in the Heian Singularity's Imperial Grail War as the emotional crutch daughter figure she needed, Amami gets an emotional crutch little sister figure to help him reunite with the twelve he lost. This pair would be interesting because it'd subvert Nursery's usual MO of simply forcing others to reconnect with their inner child. The whole reason why he lost 12 sisters is that his passion for seafaring and exploration distracts him from what he's supposed to do. Her role as the villain of the Santa Nightingale event shows she can be harsh when children are being neglected, so Nursery would be the force pulling Amami back on track, but she'd have to balance that with allowing him to enjoy himself to preserve his childish love for adventure. He'd be a tough and delicate case for our Hero of Children.
3. The hero Iruma needs is... anyone who tolerates her, really. My first thought was Karna, but he's about finding value where no one else does, and Iruma has her share of undeniable value, so I think he isn't the best choice. Their pair would be a watered-down version of Jinako's pair anyways. Fate/ actually quite scarce of Servants defined by being all-tolerant because that's a trait they push more on Fujimaru, but two examples that come to mind are Romulus, the man who loved all of Rome (read: human civilization) in both its sins and achievements; and Caligula, the man who went crazy trying to do the same. Romulus is too OP to help Iruma tone down her ego, so I'll go with Caligula.
4. Ouma is a hard case. He needs someone he can absolutely trust and finding one of those is a huge challenge. The only ones Ouma has expressed full trust to were Gonta, because he was unquestionably good and weak-willed enough to never stray away from Ouma's instruction without asking first; and chapter 5 Momota, who was in circumstances so complicated that he wouldn't dare to throw away the chance Ouma's script offered. Ouma is the kind of paranoid control freak who would intentionally go for a Berserker because even the ones who speak are single-minded in a way that makes them easy to plan around. The alternative would be someone so like-minded in methods and standards that he'd probably hate them but still trust as someone who thinks the same way he would, but only BB fits that bill and she's not normally summonable. With that card off the table, the only options Ouma has left are Berserker he can trust to never kill anyone ever, and the only Zerk valuing life this much is Nightingale. BB's fellow nurse, amusingly enough.
5. Ki-bo would be offended with Alaya if he summoned a robot or homunculus just because he's a robot. And he also wishes for a partner that will treat him as an equal without denying what makes him different as a robot. In short, he needs a human Servant that is used to have normal relationships with robots. But Chen Gong or Red Hare because they're too evil, nor Orion because he's too crude. That leaves us with robot Danzou's human son, Fuuma Kotarou.
6. Gonta's wish is to become a true gentleman his human family can acknowledge, and for that, he needs the example of someone who is both well-mannered and of noble heart. Bedivere is an easy choice.
7. As I mentioned a few times before around 2017~18, I strongly think the best thing about Saihara is his interactions with Hoshi. Saihara is a guy feeling eternally guilty because he made one "good guy" murderer pay for his crime and he tries to make up for it by forcefully validating Hoshi's mass-murdering of the mafia. Then in Fate/, we have Arjuna, an all-around excellent man who adamantly believes himself to be evil because he did one dishonorable thing once. Saihara is the stubborn validating Master Arjuna needs to make him understand that he is not the monster he believes himself to be.
8. The first thing about Shirogane is that she really doesn't like reality, especially when it concerns herself. She can't muster any interest in the boring, plain girl she is or the boring, plain world she lives in, so she makes a hobby and a job out of becoming someone else, a larger-than-life figure in a fictional world. She loves all Danganronpa characters but expresses greater adoration towards Junko and Kamukura, the most unreal the series has produced. Enter Gilgamesh, the Hero King with the comically large ego and literally all Noble Phantasm to satiate Tsumugi's craving for a break from reality. That said, Gilgamesh has the recurring hobby of playing therapist to a Master disconnected from their own self and is the franchise's greatest symbol of the willing departure from the Age of Gods into the Age of Man. As much as he fits her tastes on a surface level, he's the guy who transitioned the flashy world of fantasy she dreams of into the plain world she hates, and he'll use most of his free time to the same on a personal level for her. The Caster version is being specifically picked because Archer has childish beef with modernity, and Caster is intentionally making his arsenal more limited and unimpressive, which is self-demonstrative of the points he wants to make to Shirogane.
9. One of his Free Time Events has him explaining why Medusa is his favorite myth, and I definitely can't claim to know this shit better than him. Deep emotional attachment to a story can net you a compatibility summon, as Kiara is there to show, and Shinguuji gets bonus points from how TM Medusa became a monster out of living her life for her sisters rather than for herself.
10. Cute and righteous female Buddhist mentor figure who does martial arts. What else could Chabashira ask for?
11. Toujou takes self-worth from serving big important people with utmost perfection, so she needs her Servant to be a king or similarly important leader. But she also needs it to be a support Caster so can properly invert the Master-Servant relationship and personally fight the enemy Servant for her king. The only characters in the middle of the Venn diagram of kings and support Casters are Medea and Sheba, and Medea wants nothing do with the royalty life anymore, so Sheba it is.
12. The role of the hero Harukawa needs is already properly fulfilled by Momota in the story, so I'll go with Jason because he shares all of Momota's strenghts and flaws. He's someone who'll force her to be part of a team, relentlessly encourage her break out of her shell, and have a shitty personality she can never fully respect, making the relationship balanced. And things would go even smoother with Jason because his summon comes with Atalante, who is someone Harukawa can easily relate to.
13. Hoshi needs someone who would assure him of his choices and make him comfortably reconnect with his past like he did with Saihara in his Free Time Events. As practically the face of the Avenger Class, Dantes defines himself as an ally and guardian to the ones who were wronged and lashed out in less than virtuous ways, so he's a perfect fit.
14. Momota is too aware of himself as the protagonist of his own story to want a hero. He would instead want a loyal sidekick or a like-minded rival. Voyager is a good sidekick option due to his fit with Momota's wish for greater adventure further beyond, and is a Servant Momota mentions in his Free Time Events, so there's the emotional connectional to his story there. For a rival, a big name adventurer like Drake or Odysseus could work, and so could a wandering warrior like Musashi. But there's one option that fits both roles: Mandricardo. Rica has the adventurer experience necessary to eventually compete with Momota, but also Saihara's level of self-esteem, allow him to start on the sidekick role until Momota pulls him out of it and shapes him into a proper rival.
15. Like with Harukawa, the role of hero Yumeno needs is already fulfilled by Chabashira in canon, so we know what she needs is someone with high energy and a deep understanding of emotions. And Fate/'s biggest connesieur of human emotion is none other than our Kiyohara no Nagiko.
16. Angie is a complicated case because she doesn't react well to being disobeyed. My first idea for someone with a functioning partnership with her is a knight, but knights generally work on the premise that their king is selfless and righteous, which Angie isn't. There are people like Lan Ling, Liangyu, the ninjas, Mori or Okita, who submit their lives to anyone's authority, but for that same reason, they wouldn't help Angie improve. What she really needs is someone good at feigning humility, like Limbo. He wouldn't have good intentions for her Master, but by manipulating situations out of her control without letting her feel like her divine words are being challenged, he can force some level of change on her mindset. It's better than nothing.

Soo I said I would make a post about The Death Of Yua (as it’s written now, this may be subject to change <3) So I’m gonna do it now <3. I’ll be doing this mostly in bullet points bc that’s just easier for me <3
[tw for murder and torture <3]
The Death Of Yua (2.0)
open on Aito’s spouse in bed, they wake up and realize that Aito isn’t there. Ok that’s normal, her sleep schedule is still insane, so she’ll come back soon
And then she doesn’t.
Suddenly they’re calling their friends to see what’s up and apparently nobody’s seen aito.
Ok so he’s not a missing person at this point- but he is a person who is missing.
They spend forever looking for Aito, and it’s like this big ol wild goose chase through all her old files and cases and maybe people find things they never expected or never wanted to learn about Aito’s job- but they can’t stop they have to find her
smash cut to Aito and Yua at Yua’s home.
Aito is sitting tied up in a chair, but she isn’t struggling as Yua applies her makeup. Yua uses thick foundation to cover bruises on Aito’s face and neck
“You seem calm, pet, are you already accepting that we are destined to be?”
“No.” Aito says coldly, still not fighting. “I know that my team will find me.”
Yua insults the intelligence of the team- claiming that no one will ever find them in time. Aito ignores her.
Pan down to Aito’s body. She’s still in her sleep clothes, and the rest of her body is covered in damage similar to her face.
He’s wearing shorts, and just under the hem we can see a highly irritated portion of skin on her outer thigh. There seems to be some sort of marking just under the cloth.
Back to the team, It’s the middle of the night; they’ve figured out that Yua Sakura has Aito, and likely won’t kill her- but apparently Aito’s been hiding how Yua treated him when he was her sidekick (agressive, manipulative, and the occasional signs of torture). Yua’s been much worse than anyone had expected- meaning nobody knows Aito’s current state.
More looking into Aito’s personal ‘Sakura Investigation’ and suddenly they find an envelope addressed to her spouse
The team quickly delivers the letter and his spouse opens it
It's a wedding invitation.
Back to Yua and Aito, Aito stands in a puffy red dress, Yua in a matching cocktail dress.
Yua philosophizes on love, and wonders if stockholm syndrome can be a form of it.
Yua clips a dog collar onto Aito’s neck. There’s a black box connected to it.
Yua cuts the ties on Aito’s hands- and Aito immediately attacks her.
Before they even hit the ground, aito is screaming and grabbing at the collar in pain.
Yua gets the upper hand and ties Aito’s wrists once more (this time infront of him instead of behind)
Yua reveals a remote in her hand, and says that she’s modified the collar a bit. The collar is electric- and extremely painful.
Yua says that there’s nothing aito can do. they will wed at sunrise, and Yua will take him out of Japan to continue their reign of villainy.
Yua gives aito a bouquet of flowers.
For the first time since his kidnapping, aito is genuinely frightened
back to the team- they’re making their way to Yua’s home (a couple hours drive)
They argue over how responsible aito is for her predicament (lying about the conditions of working with Yua)
They’re still debating when something is shot into the car- a small canister that starts smoking
The team barely has time to react before they start losing consciousness.
They wake up on the outside of Yua’s home- a simple wedding is set up, the altar on the edge of a sharp cliff face, the water below rolling as the sun starts to rise.
they are all tied up as the audience.
Yua thanks them for coming, and “here comes the bride” starts playing.
Aito walks down the isle calmly, not looking at her team as they yell in protest
It isn’t until aito passes Ikuto that she finally turns her head- just enough to see his eyes
He’s immediately shocked and Aito corrects course.
The music ends, but Aito hasn’t reached the end of the isle yet.
“Whatever is wrong, pet?” Yua asks sweetly, holding the remote out as a reminder to keep moving.
“Aito Takao.” He says shortly, clutching his bouquet, hands bloodied as thorns dig into her palms
“P-pardon?” Yua asks, her head tilted in confusion
“Aito Takao.” She repeated, standing straight. “I told you I would tell you my name before I died. My maiden name is Aito Takao.”
Yua stares for a moment, as if her breath was taken away. “Aito takao…” she mumbles, touching her lips as though she couldn’t imagine the name coming from them.
Before Yua can realize the significance of what Aito said, he’s already charging her
Yua activates the collar again, but aito surges forward
The team fight their restraints as aito and Yua go careening off the cliff together.
Smash cut them laying on a beach, both having washed up together after falling off the cliff
Aito drags Yua further up the beach, showing that she’s in rough shape, but can still kinda get around
Yua starts crying a little and says she can’t move, and Aito tells her that she thinks Yua’s spine is broken.
Yua whines for a bit more, but in the end she says that they can finally do what Aito wants
“you know what i want, Sakura” aito said, with a chilling firmness.
Yua sits there for a second, crying silently as she comes to terms with that, and finally gives in.
she asks that Aito tells her brother what happened to her, and to apologize for what she’s done,
all the while Aito’s grabbing this big ol rock and lugging it over to Yua.
Aito finally raises the rock above his head, blocking out the sun as Yua looks up at her.
Yua says that she thinks Aito is the closest anyone has ever gotten to loving the real her
Aito brings the rock down on her head (cain moment 😳)
(Extra scene for credits to roll over)
Aito struggles further up the beach till she finds a road (she seems to favor her left leg)
Someone drives by and spots Aito, immediately calling the authorities for help
Very somber shot as aito sits in the back of a black SUV. Her dress is soaked in water and a mixture of her and Yua’s blood. Her makeup is running, and he looks exhausted.

DR:S is almost upon us i’m throwing out my interactions wishlist now before spoilers are dropping
Read More bc oops this got long
Maki/Peko/Mukuro: YEAH BAYBEE I’m still mad they never interacted in BGM. The potential between all three girls that were raised to be killing machines being able to chill and hang out together is palatable. Also if they’re gonna keep shoving Mukuro into the Junko wig they might as well show them all struggling to keep their true identities hidden.
Maki/Shinguuji/Hoshi: V3 Killer Trio Time. Maki and Hoshi I think would be sympathetic to each other’s situations, and Shinguuji throws in his own perspective to killing. It would be very tense and awkward. Also Shinguuji and Maki hating each others guts in ch3 was funny we need more of that
Maki/Kaito/Shuichi: Heh Heh Heh. (three hehs)
Maki/Sakura/Akane: Continuation from their initial BGM mode! I think Akane would understand what its like to fight to protect for little ones (be it Maki’s orphanage/Akane’s younger siblings), and Sakura would delve into how its important to become strong for the ones you care for (Like with Aoi, her family or Kenshiro)
Maki/Togami/Kuzuryuu: As the “Asshole Loners that stirred trouble only to soften and join the group” club I think they’d have some good convos. Of course the killing games aren’t a thing in this AU but it would be fun to reference
Maki/Warriors of Hope: Now that we got actual kids in the mix Maki’s cover as the Ultimate Caregiver is put to the test. She’d be genuinely great at babysitting but they would still keep pushing her buttons to make her crack (esp Monaca)
Maki/Kaito: Oh you know ;)
Kaito/Nidai: Ultimate Motivational Speakers With Fatal Illnesses/Heart Conditions team up lets go. It would also be fun to see Kaito try to make Nidai his sidekick and Nidai try to coach Kaito
Kaito/Amami: How the hell were there no interactions between the big bro type characters trying to look dependable but are hiding their own closet full of skeletons. I wanna see them talk about their travelling adventures together (and Amami seeing through Kaito’s bullshit stories but nodding along)
Kaito/Oowada/Ishimaru: A continuation between Kaito and Oowada’s events mainly (bc Oowada basically taking Kaito under his wing and motivating each other was cute) and also Ishimaru in the mix! I think Ishimaru would enjoy Kaito’s enthusiasm for Space but would be appalled that he cheated to get in
Kaito/Fukawa: Came up with this one while writing, I just think it would be funny to see Kaito trying to motivate the most pessimistic person with a savage persecution complex. Unstoppable Force meets Immovable Object.
Kaito/Miu: Genius Dumbass gang rise up
Momota/Ryoma: They had a few interactions in BGM but I’m greedy and want More. Kaito just wanting to talk about tennis with Hoshi in their Christmas event was nice and I want more of that

I don't know how well you know Dungeons and Dragons (if at all), but if you can answer this, what races and classes would each character in THH pick for their characters in a given game?
Do I know anything about Dungeons & Dragons? ... Aside from the classic Alignment Chart, no. I don't know much of anything about it.
Or at least I didn’t know much about it. Because: Will I do a bunch of unnecessary research into the current version of D&D just so I can try to answer this question? YES OF COURSE.
So I dove into the various classes available and the various races that are playable (including current expansions), read the official descriptions for them all, verified which race/class combos were allowed, and finally came up with a list. Obviously, I don't have the depth of knowledge that a legit D&D player might have, but based on just the base descriptions available in the official materials, here's what I came up with.
Makoto Naegi – Human, Paladin. It makes sense that Naegi would go for the most commonly played race in the whole game. You might think he’d go for the most common type of class, too, but nah — his passionate sense of justice lures him towards being a Pally.
Kyoko Kirigiri – Half-Elf, Artificer. Artificers are the class that most values knowledge and intelligence, making them easy for Kiri to respect. And the Half-Elf is a being of two worlds who is said to be curious, inventive, and ambitious. Those traits are certainly present in Kiri.
Celestia Ludenberg – Elf, Rogue. We know Celes loves the physical appeal of thin, pale, otherworldly figures, and we also know that she’s hardcore into playing games of deceit. Ergo, this is perfect.
Aoi Asahina – Gnome, Ranger. I think the gnomes’ joyous embrace of life and all its pleasures would really grab the cheerful Hina. Plus she’d like how cute they are. Obviously, we’ve seen her bond with a fellow athlete quickly in RL, so for her class, I think she’d be drawn to a physical type — one better known for dexterity than raw strength. That brings it down to Monk or Ranger, and I think Ranger allows her to be less self-serious than the focused studies of a Monk.
Toko Fukawa – Tiefling, Bard. The bard is a primarily a storyteller, after all. It fits with her talent, and besides, it’s not like she’s inclined towards direct violence. The Tiefling is what fits with her personality. The constant abuse and suspicion that the Tieflings receive really reflect how Toko feels in her daily life.
Genocide(r) Jack/Syo – Half-Orc, Rogue. If Jack/Syo is in charge during the selection process, a Half-Orc who feels that inexorable pull towards her inner bloodlust is natural. I waffled on whether to go straightforward Fighter or Rogue, but I think the Rogue’s sneakier aspects and tendency towards smaller blades has to speak more to Jack/Syo.
Chihiro Fujisaki – Halfing, Fighter. A combination of what Fujisaki would clearly relate to (the small, peace-loving halfing) and what Fujisaki most wants to be (strong in both body and mind) resulted in this unlikely pairing. I think the evident dichotomy between class and race also hspeaks to
Sakura Ogami – Leonin, Monk. As the Ultimate Martial Artist who is constantly training to be the best, she’d see herself reflected the Monk that constantly strives for physical and spiritual perfection. But what wins out when she picks a race – her noble warrior side or her girly side that loves cute things? I found myself waffling between the noble, physically imposing Leonin and the adorable Gnome. But ultimately, her combatant side has to win out, because she’s prone to hiding her girlier side.
Mondo Owada – Dragonborn, Barbarian. Dragonborn are loyal to their clan above all else, which is something Mondo can get into. Barbarians value strength, obviously, but they also have the ability to explode into a powerful rage. Mondo might not even be aware of why that speaks to him…
Kiyotaka Ishimaru – Dragonborn, Wizard. I think Taka would feel lost and perplexed when faced with a choice of what race to take, so when Mondo takes “Dragonborn” because he thinks it’s rad, Taka is just inclined to stick close to his bro. Then he chooses Wizard because it’s said to be the most scholarly of the various classes, and he wants to make sure he’s taking his studies seriously in every possible version of his life.
Mukuro Ikusaba – Leonin, Fighter. Leonin are mostly concerned with their own race and are nomadic. They’re a proud race of warriors and tend to keep to themselves. Mukuro has lived a similarity nomadic life, and the one person she usually lets close is her sister. Besides, mythical beasts like a Leonin sort of fit with the iconography of Fenrir. And then the Fighter class is… just obvious.
Junko Enoshima – Elf (Drow), Warlock. I think it’s extremely Junko to choose the most beautiful and noble of races and then pick the most chaotic/psychotic possible sub-race within it. The Drow are a group of subterranean elves who murder and enslave however they see fit, typically killing entire families if even one member stands in their way. Perhaps she’d try to disguise herself as a Wood Elf for most of the game, only to reveal her true nature once they’re deep into play. Furthermore, I can see her choosing a Warlock that has sold their soul to a demon or a dark god in exchange for power because of how incredibly despairing that sounds.
Hifumi Yamada – Dwarf, Bard. Given his own stature AND how much pride Hifumi takes in his “craft,” I think he’d identify with the skilled craftspeople who are stout in build. Hey, he already has shown a preference for characters with a similar build to his own body if you take his love for Princess Piggles into account. I doubt Toko would appreciate him sharing a class with her, but he’s even more overtly proud of being a storyteller than she is, so it’s a natural choice.
Leon Kuwata – Human, Ranger. With an eye for speed and precision, I picture Leon being drawn to the Ranger class. I also see him finding most of the fantasy races too weird/goofy and preferring to go Human, which actually fits nicely given that Humans in D&D are known for their ambition. Leon is definitely big on that.
Byakuya Togami – Refuses to play because it seems so foolish and frivolous, of course. But if he somehow is sweet-talked into it: Elf, Sorcerer. The Elf is a being of otherworldly grace with a larger perspective on world events that other races can’t gasp. The Sorcerer is a character with a magical birthright thanks to their powerful bloodline. Everything about this speaks to how he sees himself.
Yasuhiro Hagakure – Satyr, Druid. Satyrs are gregarious and just want to enjoy life’s pleasures, which sure sounds like our boy. But a Satyr Druid? The way I see it, Hiro will be put off by the typical magic-wielding classes, which’ll mostly make him think of his hatred of the occult. But the Druid derives all his power from nature, so Hiro will somehow figure that’s totally ok in the same way that his own weird powers somehow aren’t occult to him.
Sayaka Maizono — Half-Elf, Bard. OH CRAP I ALMOST FORGOT SAYAKA. I think the push and pull of the two worlds that Half-Elves feel, which often leave them feeling like they belong to neither one, is something that Sayaka would find understandable given the pull of her industry vs her desire to live a more “normal” life. And the Bard thing isn’t just because it’s typically a musical role — it’s also because of Maizono’s desire to be someone’s sidekick/supporting role and step out of the spotlight.
..........and there it all is! Sorry that this took so long to reply to, but as you can see, I’m a wordy bitch. I wound up with quite the variety across the cast, actually. I used almost every class and almost every race (no Clerics and no pure Orcs, but that’s all that got ignored).
Now, the typical D&D party is recommended to consist of 4-5 players, so this is obviously waaaaaay too many characters for a single session to contain. But if I were to pick the 4 or 5 people I think would most easily get drawn into a single D&D game? I’d think it’d be Hifumi, Makoto, Celestia, Chihiro, and Hiro.
